I didn't make any changes but all of the sudden, my ATC when on Vatsim comes through my main speakers and not my headset. Audio from me is fine, but I don't get audio through my headset from ATC. What do I need to do to get that back? In Vatsim the settings show: Mic Device - MicrophoneLogitech USB Output device - Speakers Both say "Direct Sound" and not wave. Do I need to change something in Vatsim or on my PC?

Hi, Just a general question on making client and content updates to P3Dv4. Since v4.3 has been announced it will be on its way soon and currently I am using v4.1 , is it possible to make the update/jump directly to v4.3 when it becomes available or does the LM installer depend upon have the previous minor revision installed? Hi, I plan to do some ultra long range flights and have the problem that flying the airways/navaids along the great circle route or close to it is not the optimal route. Prevailing winds may make another route, possibly thousands of miles away, a better choice. For instance, Delhi-San Francisco great circle route goes North over Western China, to the Kazakh-Mongolia border, the Central Siberian Plateau and out to the East Siberian Sea, touching the American continent at the North-Western tip of Alaska, along the Alaska/Canada West Coast down to California. Hey guys! I got a problem yesterday, It happened all randomly. My simconnect does not work anymore, When trying to connect vPilot it tells me that no simulator is started, Chaseplane is also freaking out with the switch of views and active sky had some errors. How do i make a clean install of simconnect or atleast make it work again? Tried to reinstall it but still doesnt work :( Thx in advance, I hope i can get this solved soon :D

The Navigraph installer says the files for 1806 downloaded ok. I noticed install messages displayed on the bottom of Navigraph installer saying that P3d installation was in progress. However, the FMC in P3d v3 737 still shows the old AIRAC data base. I think these AIRAC files have to get to a folder in the PMDG app. How do I do that?

Hi, Can someone request Orbx team to check their twitter sign in link on their forums. An error shows as soon as I click on sign in with Twitter on Orbxdirect.com forum link. I tested all other access points, FB, Google, Microsoft, Steam (they all take the user to their auth page). I have been on the Orbx forums for years. I really do not want to create another account there and lose all my post history and what not. I did email them on their page (contact us page). Just passing the message to them will be great. Hi, I've installed the P3D version downloaded from this website developed by Javier Fernandez (freeware): http://www.rikoooo.com/en/downloads/viewdownload/8/203 However, I've discovered that there is an issue with the wake coming off the ship when moving, The wake is at the same level as the deck of the carrier..........a little strange. There may be other things broken that I'm not aware of. This add-on has been excellent for FSX, but it is not working for me in P3D. So what have your experiences been? Bill Clark

Hi. I'm trying to set up the navigation and tell the autopilot to fly the route I've told it, but I'm not getting any luck. I'm entirely using what you get out of the box, nothing special, but I just can't see how to get from a to b using the system on that plane. It would be good if someone could point me in the direction of a video showing how to program the Garmin system, then get the plane to fly that route. I would appreciate anyone's help! Thanks, Gaz

I purchased the FSDG YAYE Ayers Rock for P3Dv4 almost two months ago and its not working. FSDG ( In my case anyway ) don't seem to know what customer support is as in that time I've only received one email reply for help getting this sorted out. And that email wasn't any help. One reply to three requests for help over two months? That is pathetic! The problem I get is a scenery config error. It can't find FSDG\Scenery\world\scenery folder. The folders are there but empty. I have re downloaded and installed both the Airport and FSDG Configurator but the missing files still exist. I've also tried disabled Anti-virus and ran as admin during install. Was my first a…

OK, this has now happened to me twice. Flying a flight on autopilot, normal sim speed and then the aircraft just starts spinning and cartwheeling unrealistically in the air, becomes uncontrollable and eventually descends to the ground. It happened in the default A36 and now tonight in the Carenado B1900D. Anyone else experience that and if so any suggestions on troubleshooting? Hi, First of all, the reason why I'm looking for an answer to this question here is that the official support is unable to solve my problem and they try to lead any discussion into "we cannot replicate that" Since the original release of PATC, I have been always having sounds stutters once I either contact a controller and have a response from a controller. I have been trying many options such as turning OFF AI communications, reducing the system load to 0%, following the sound set-up as per FAQ - nothing helps. I hate to be yet another person complaining about stutters but here goes... We recently decided to treat ourselves to the christmas present of P3d v4, and consequently we decided to upgrade our computer at the same time after years of fighting FSX... Our machine is as follows (this will become more important I promise...) i7700k (overclocked), GTX 1080 (not the 1080TI), 256GB SSD (with Windows preinstalled) and 4 TB WD HDD (5400rpm according to stats). P3D is installed onto the HDD as I understand it mainly affects the load times (and from what I've seen this does appear to be true - there is very little disk activity once running). I have been testing this new Prepar3D app now for a while. The more I use it, the more I see what it can offer. You really do not know what it offers, before you have played around with it. Now I "maplog" all my PMDG flights before starting up in either C&D ,Long or Short state and during approach phase, so I can later just jump into a flight from the SmartStarter itself or from a map. It is now "Try before you buy". Nothing to loose.

Is there any chance to change the landing gear sound somewhere? I have some gear up and down sounds that I do have recorded from a real MD80 during flight and I wan`t to use them. But I can`t find out where to put them..:/ The main MADDOGX/Sound Folder don`t have any gear sounds at all.. So how can I change these? So I am able to use my sounds instead? Rgds Kim

I see that PFPX has some FMS route formats (Leonardo SH MD82 2008/2010 P3D) available. Do these work for import into the FMS or is some other format required? Thanks!

Hi everybody! I’ve recently applied TomatoShade for PMDG 777 and FSL A320X in P3Dv4.2, getting an excessive reflection (like the old American Airlines Livery). I’ve tried with default bright and dark presets, and also with RD’s TomatoShade preset. Does anybody has the same issue, or know how to adjust this? In Prepar3d settings I have Dynamic Reflections ON, and HDR Lightning Enabled (brightness: 1.1, bloom 0.1, saturation 1.0). Thanks a lot!

Hi there, today something strange happend. I boot up P3D and it asked me if I want to activate certain plugins. Furthermore, it didn't start active sky, UTL and chase plane etc. with the application. So I guess the exe.xml got rewritten. But not only that all of my settings were back to default, also every add on scenery was gone. Every default scenario was also back in there (i deleted them a while ago). It's just like I re-installed P3D, except my planes are still there and so are my saved scenarios. Has anyone an Idea what happended here? Did P3D somehow trashed my scenery.cfg, p3d.cfg and exe.xml? Has that something to do with the upcoming v4.3? Thank…

For anyone with P3Dv4 using this atc program, I am very interested but my only concern is the fact it mentions that it does not control AI on the ground... yet. What exactly do they mean by this? Does AI traffic just wonder around lost at airports until airborne? Is it chaos at airports since there is no ATC guidance? They kinda didn’t explain what they meant whenever they said this so any help would be appreciated!

When I try to run FTX Central the screen says FTX is starting but it never starts. I have version 3.3.0.4 and I tried to use the fasttrack version but it still will not work. Any ideas what could be wrong? About 2 weeks ago there was a bIg Windows 10 update. Could that be causing the problem?
