Hi, What are the best settings on NCP for this new P3dV4.3 please. I'm on GTX 1080 Ti and Dell P4317Q @ 3840x2160 30 HZ

Good morning all - has anyone used this product before? http://www.aero.sors.fr/hfiles/FSXP3D_WorldNavaids.zip It's an updater for P3Dv4/FSX navaids/ ILS frequncies. I want to try it, but wanted to tread carefully lest i have to do a complete reinstall of P3Dv4 😁 anyway, if anyone has used this, please let me know what your experiences were. thnx!! Richard

Hi All I installed a fresh full install of 4.3 however when I select VR (steam VR) I appear to be sitting with a helmet on my head ready for ground battle. This is a new cool feature (lol) but how do I remove it. Don't want do wear a helmet while flying my 747. Jokes aside I assume its a glitch. I'm Using Pimax4k and steam VR. This black frame moves around with your head just like a helmet. Any Help will be appreciated.. Thanks IM

Have been thinking of getting TrackIR to use in P3Dv4.3. I do have EZDOK and was wondering if I would still need it once TrackIR is up and running seeing that I would be able to move/look around the VC in various directions. If I were to suffer motion sickness using TrackIR would it disappear after using it for a while? Some feedback from users much appreciated.

I would like to add AI planes to my P3dV4.3...Is there a site that provides complete packages of AI that can simply be added as a total package (traffic files, airplanes etc) to the simulator without one having to compile routes and so on? Thanks for your advice!

I just purchased $3000 worth of new hardware and now you come out with this (4.3)?!?!?. Man, I could run V4.3 at full max settings on my ole E8400 at stock speeds with this update! Just got out of the PMDG 747 cockpit ....with dynamic lighting on, every light switch set to the on position at KLAX gate 112 .... and 30 fps in the cockpit?!?!?!? ....and I got better FPS in the cockpit than the outside spot view! C'MON MAN! WTG guys (the crew at Lockheed) on the update!

Hi,why do you think textures are blurry, nothing installed, a fresh install P3D v4.3. This problem exists in former versions as well Can you please lead me a solution?

Hi All, Since 4.3 is out now, i would like to uninstall everything and i mean everything of P3D and do a fresh clean installation. Would appreciate if someone can tell me where are all the hidden files and other stuff pertaining to P3D are kept. Would like to install everything including the Addons as well. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. My P3D is installed on a separate SSD so i can delete those those stuff but the rest of the files i would like to know. Thank you

I have an AI package that works fine if installed into my P3D v4 folder, but I'm trying to avoid that and install it outside the folder via add-on.xml method. Hi guys, I would like someone to help me out, in all my planes my mix and propeller levers start at 12% and end at 88% to start at 0% and finish at 100% of your way I have to do it with the mouse, I have calibrated my yoke from saitek and from P3Dv4 but although the calibration works always this happens to me, my yoke is a profite saitek and my joystick is a saitek cyborg 3d gold, thanks for your help

Hello, I noticed something weird when I fly through any location I Fly through. It seems like there are default textures between the ORBX textures: I know this shouldn't happen since FTX Replaces the default Textures.... Good day all, I've noticed a very annoying bug with my terrain when i'm using MSAA. That is all options for it. When i change it to SSAA, the problem is gone. I've attached a image showing what i mean. It almost looks like thousands of small rivers in the terrain! https://imgur.com/a/I2Di7Ib Enlarge the photo, and in the gap between the clouds you can see the issue.

I have an issue with P3D pausing every few minutes (blue loading circle, sim freezes). I have just done short flight between DD KJFK and Imaginesime KATL with the PMDG 737NGX with a fresh install of 4.3. Following add ons are installed: - Fsuipc 5.132 - AS16 - Orbx global and vector - PMDG 737 - DD KJFK and Imaginesim KATL - GSX - UTlive - SODE I have had this issue previously, but that was caused by a conflict between UK2000 airports and SODE. Some searching suggested Fsuipc autosave could cause this, but that setting is off. Did try to deactivate UTlive, which did not help. Any suggestions? I would like to have an application where I can view the globe, so that I can see flight plans, create them even, and see details of an airport far off. Until now I've just used what's built into Prepar3d or FSX, but it would be good to have a separate app or web site, even (so I can use it on my tablet). I don't mind paying, and to be honest I'm not keen on Simbrief because you can't simply get a map without doing a plan. Thanks Gaz

I notice in Elaine's youtube video that there is a background behind the plane, but on mine it's missing and looks like this, not sure what happened exactly caused this, but I remember seeing a background before. If you jump to around the 1:45 mark, you can clearly see a background behind the plane.

I have a problem with panning on my NGX with my X52. When I swith in any direction it does not move incrementally but by 90 degrees. I have this problem only with the NGX. Reinstalled it, reinstalled P3 v4. I would very much appreciate any ideas. Thanks so much. Bernd

I am just finishing up my install of P3D v4.3 here and wanted to know if its possible to install Carenado/Alabeo and other planes such as Justflight via add-on.xml method? I want to keep my main P3D folder untouched if possible.

Looking through the change log I see a lot of updates that don't really pertain to me (at least I don't think). If I am looking to update for improved performance and better dynamic lighting, do I just need to install the client? I understand that I need to upgrade the client, but am not sure If I will miss out on anything else by not installing scenery or content. I don't want to mess with my 3rd party airports so I think I would just need to do the client but also want to see what I'd be missing if I didn't do content or scenery. Maybe I just do client and content?

Considering the traffic with the 4.3 release I wanted to post the link to the Youtube interview FSElite did with LM at FSExpo in its own thread. This is a very open discussion with great info and not like their traditional formulaic and cryptic corporate PR releases. I also feel this interview puts to rest a lot of the opinionated debates about LM's development focus and target audience.

Since upgrading to P3D v4.2 I'm having some weird menu selection issues. The below video shows the problem when selecting the GSX menu (also happens with Pro ATC menu). First time menu simply appears and then disappears a split second later without giving the user a chance to select anything. However an option is selected! Second time, the menu stays on screen awaiting selection. Problem can be replicated a few minutes later. Anyone else seen this?

I'm just wondering if anybody can tell me why after deleteing my generated files and rebuilding them that after the rebuild in the scenery\cities folder the following have gone missing or deleted, Rockhampton, Orlando, Kennedy Space Centre and SanDiego, I did nothing else, upon restart of P3DV4.2 I had a scenery.cfg error, the scenery showed up in the scenery.cfg file but a message saying cannot find scenery, the folders are missing would I like to unload them, just bewildered as where and why this happened.
