I have tried numerous procedures hoping to get my Saitek/Logitech pro yoke throttle levers and quadrant to stop "jumping". No joy...some levers are smooth but most are good at the lower and upper end only. a bit more movement and the aircraft throttle(or prop/mixture) will jump to mid position or jump back and forth. At this point the best option seems to be Uninstall/reinstall....but what? Windows7? P3d v3?, P3dv4?. Which of these most affect the operation of the flight control system? Am very happy with PRO ATC apart from one thing. Every fight I've done it tells me to descend around 40 miles before TOD? OK no big deal as I don't expect it to know my perfect TOD and I can ask for decent if I wish to at any time. But yesterday I did a short flight and was cleared to FL350 then with 2,000 ft to go before TOC I was told to decent to FL250 ????? TOD was 90 miles away and I was not even in cruise? Any ideas how to solve this?

Hi, Lately, I have been seeing tons of threads where people are having trouble with P3dv4.3. Sadly, almost all flightsim software is designed assuming all users are engineers, b/c UI design is out of the window (except from the major players)....it is the way it is. Keep bugging the developer to adopt better UI design. Some developers should take classes in UI design at Udemy for $9 bucks. Anyway back to topic. 1) Do not MIX FSX only addons inside P3D4.3 now. I know in the past almost all of us got away with P3Dv3 but now we are in 64bit environment. And 4.3 marks a very distinctive split in different direction from FSX way of doing things.…

I'm actually very impressed with P3D V4.3 and all the premium addons like ORBX LC, ASP4, REX4, TomatoShade, QW 787, FB airports, etc.. Yes, X-Plane has the best night lighting (partly due to their HDR engine, but also largely because their road network is really good with street lights, better vehicles, etc).. but that said, I think with Tomatoshade + REX4, I think I like the P3D lighting at all other times of the day even more than XP11.. plus the colors are so vivid and sharp.. esp ORBX LC, etc.. so much eye candy that at times i'm just staring at the screen for an hour without flying! few other things i loved were the professional installers for UTlive, etc.. ju…

Hi everyone During Departure and Cruise I haven't any problem.But during Approach and landing there is no Autogen.. Terrain is like Photoreal no buildings no tress ? What can be the problem because in P3D V4.1 I didn't had a problem like this with the same settings. With how good things are getting with P3D 4.3, the shadows are still terrible. Great add ons for scenery, airports and aircraft.... yet still crappy shadows. Nothing like doing an approach with the best aircraft and the best scenery add ons and the shadow from the engine strake looks like a pixelated scene from Qbert.

I have built a new machine and have done a series of testing with default and with 3rd party add-ons... Additional testing has been done with multiple hardware scenarios ranging from HT enables disables, FPS limit or unlimited etc. The one thing that I found consistently, was when I limit my P3D I can keep stable frames and smoothness... Without the frames are high for a while, but slowly dwindle from 40's-60's down to single digits, no matter what scenario I do... I have flyinside, and have yet to do testing with, but I tried a 4+hr flight that I have done many times with no issue with P3D 4.3 native VR. Good morning, Finally was able to start using FSL A320 again to my great pleasure. A few things however make me curious and it's very strange MAX FL numbers for relatively average ZFW/GW figures. When I go to an outside view I cannot see any aircraft I load from menu in P3D v4 in outside view. Anyone have any idea how to get that to work again. I would appreciate it. Thanks, Gerry R

Hi, I have Tomato Shade version 23 and P3D v4.3. Whenever I select "Alternate lighting for clouds groups" in the Clouds section of Tomato, when I apply the preset I get an error, saying that the alternate lighting could not be applied. This with ANY preset and does not happen with PTA. Anyone knows why? Thanks!

Just upgraded from P3Dv4.2 to 4.3 which came with the C-130 aircraft, and I also just purchased the new DC-4 from Flight Replicas. These are the first 4 engine planes I have tried to use. I have successfully used FSUIPC various versions for years with my 1 and 2 engine planes with no problems. I have a registered version FSUIPC v 5.123 installed. I can't seem to get my CH Products Throttle Quadrant to work correctly with these planes and am wondering if I am doing something wrong. 36 hours ago while adding scenery from a large producer we all know and buy from something went strange during the scenery install and the install hung at 99%. I left it like that for the better part of an hour thinking something complicated was being done. When the situation didn't progress and I figured it was stalled I rebooted the computer. I have been unable to get P3dV4.3 not to hang up during start since then. I have spent 6 plus hours - probably closer to 10 - trying everything I can find on several different forums including that of LM. Unsuccessfully. Concerning the C-130, i have problems with a uniform colour on the fuselage. In the folder C-130 there is a folder named texture.usaf with some colurs in light grey (pylons, engines and wheelbase). The rest is blue-grey. How to fix this? And how do I stop the plane from rolling With engines on idle? The brakes do not function.

About three days ago I updated my Client from v4.2 to v4.3. I will note that is all I did. Some folks clear their shader folder, others delete the .cfg file but I pretty much did a “plug and play” after updating. I have noticed over the past few flights I have done that I get weird shadow flashing and shadows disappearing, or quickly reappearing. Today while on approach into KIDA, there was a thick broken layer above the airport so naturally it would be kinda dull as the airport wasn’t in direct sunlight. Ok, so having flown FSX from it's initial release, I've finally grasped the obvious and decided it's time to move on to P3D. While I know the 64 bit platform isn't a magic bullet performance enhancer, I'm really wanting to see what I've been missing. I'm pretty naive when it comes to hardware, but I think I've got a pretty decent store bought rig. What's your opinion? I have reached my wits end, I am hoping someone here can help. Everytime I try and do a full install of P3d 4.3 I get most of the content, with no .exe or any of the other files you find in your root directory. I have tried to install the packages individually, and also as a full install. I have attached a picture of the p3d folder and the content I am getting.

Hello, I've been having a big issue since I updated to P3D v4.3. After being in the sim for a while a message comes up and says DIXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. What is causing this? I have uninstalled nvidia inspector and have updated all of my drivers via GeForce Experience.
