Hi guys. Been reading a lot about this newish 30hz monitor tweak. And upon trying almost every thing connected to this i get just stutters for my trouble. My monitor is a Acer XB321HK that supports 30hz Display port 1.4 in use If i select 30hz on the desktop the mouse stutters around the screen. And moving a window open induces the same result. Even with not running the monitor in 30hz and using the ingame fps slider, if i take it of unlimited it invokes stuttering in panning and mouse stuttering. Hoping someone with the same monitor may have an answer for me, or someone else. Regards Mike

Any help here ? because my new P3Dv4 together with my new A319 pro was doing well, until i re-installed a fresh version from Dreamteam NewYork V2 airport - it is announced to be v4 compatible now. Although GSX groundservices seems to work, the NYv2 addon lets my airbus crash from start up. From FSDT or aerosoft no help so far...

The ORBX Scenery was installed through the FTX Central. The Scenery Configuration Tool does not show any problems, but when I load a scenery all I see is default scenery.

Which version of sim connect do I use. There are about six different folders in Redist/Interface. I need it for Chaseplane and EFB. Thanks, Brad

Guys, I don't get CTD often, i am usually using my sim on short haul routes, long hauls a bit less, but it seems that is can't cross the Atlantic westbound without a program stoped working error. It is not a first time that a sim crashes near the Labrador peninsula, right about when exiting the NAT track. I haven't had issues flying over Greenland westobun, or NAT eastbound. Also no crashes on long hauls in other parts of the sim world. Addons using are pmdg 747 and 777, orbx global, vector, north america, Europe, active sky. I am thinking about reinstalling my system today. Any thoughts would be really appriciated.

Good morning! I know that the differences between the MD-82 and -88 are minimal, but I was wondering if it was possible to increase the MTOW and engine performance of the MaddogX to match that of the MD-88, whether it be via .cfg editing or what have you. First off, what are the differences between MaddogX's MD-80 series and an MD-88? AFAIK the MD-88 has EFIS, cabin improvements, composite materials (which I don't care about) and new engines (which I do) Reason being, I'd like to fly an MD-88 (ie what Delta Airlines flies) and I'm OCD like that, especially for passenger/fuel/range calculations.

I asked this question in the ORBX forums but havn't gotten an answer so i figured i would ask other users about their experiences. On the list of product features for PAJN, one of the line items is "AI Float Plane operations" Does anyone with ORBX PAJN actually have working AI float planes? On my set-up I have the float planes parked or anchored in the harbor by the water runway, but i've never seen them move. Just trying to figure out if my set up is crazy or if the feature doesn't exist. Richard

Hello all, Simmarket hs bene having a "Go east" sale, with 50% price reduction on Russian sceneries. I couldn't stop myself and got DD Moscow City as well as Sheremetyevo airport and Justsim's Vnukovo. I was looking at Domodedovo, which to me is actually the most interesting as this is the airport I flew into the one time I visited Moscow. Before I get it though, I was just wondering if somebody can confirm whether it'll work in P3Dv4, and how well it performs? So this is becoming quite the odyssey. I have posted in Prepar3d Scenery DEV forum, The ORBX support forums and the NineTwo Forums (FreeMesh). I am having an issue with the default buildings on Pier 39 (fisherman's Wharf) offset from the land they are supposed to sit on. They are hangin out in the water. I have posted the link to the pic of the problem as I don't know how to imbed it. Hello all, I have already updated Prepar3D V4 Client & Content components to V4.3. I have discovery their is a scenery fix for Cyprus. What I was wanting to find out is if I install the Scenery component would I have to re-install all my add on airports? Hi guys, I use Prosim 737 for my cockpit and since installing V4.3 the rudder pedals aren’t working. In the external view they are deflecting left and right. All my settings are calibrated through Prosim but also tried FSUIPC controls. The reason i post this here is because this happens with the default planes also.

I love flying through summer thunderstorms in P3D... but there is something that I don't like... and it's the horrible lightning flash that occurs like every 3 seconds during a heavy thunderstorm. The lightning is fine, but the flash is completely overblown... it will be completely sunny and it looks like a Scooby Doo horror movie inside the cockpit Anybody know of a remedy? Thank you

First I would like to say Congratulations to Aerosoft and the team for releasing there A318/A319. I have personally enjoyed watching and following the progress though there forums. Hello, Does uninstalling P3D automatically get rid of any aircraft add-ons that were downloaded? Similarly, will the scenarios and custom graphical settings be removed when this happens? In File Explorer, ThisPC->documents-> prepar3dv4 has files of scenarios and graphical settings. Should I just save those files to a different folder outside of P3D files? Thanks.

hi I have read on previous posts that it is best if you can to set monitor refresh rate to 30 and fps set to 30 with vsync on which I have done but get some stutters now and again so I tried changing the frame rate to unlimited with monitor still at 30 and vsync on I get a much smoother flight but the frames still sit at 29/30 even with unlimited set there is no change in the fps whether I use locked or unlimited I don't understand. thanks,jim

Should I enable it ? Does it mean speed-trees are used instead and I can expect some optimization when I enable trees and autogen ? Or should I leave it unticked ? What about the ORBX FTX Global trees option ? Is it a good choice or not for a low end PC ? Thx !

Hi all My minimum PFC throttle position rests at the Climb detent the VC and my max physical throttle positon is the TOGA detent. How do I set the throttles up using FSUIIC to make my minimum PFC throttle position rest at Idle in the VC ? Cheers

Hello guys I've been getting 30-40 fps is this normal I have a pretty good pc.

i use pta 2.62 for prepar3d v4.3 i have no addon (except pta) and when i set a preset and when i lunch p3d i have a black screen and to be sure i wait 15 minuts but my black screen's still here then i try around ten preset and i have the same black screen however i tried presets that work on the p3d of many friends thanks for your help
