Is it possible to start a flight in P3D that does not include any instances of an external scenery view? Instead, I want the primary view to be that of an instrument panel and no scenery. Thanks.

I need some help. Can I, in theory, use the Multiplayer to share a cockpit with someone in another state. Does it only work on a LAN? I cannot find any tutorials on how it works. I even went to the Prepare3D site and it has very simple instructions that do not help. Why is "join session" greyed out? I do not see anyone hosting sessions? Is anyone out there using this successfully? If not what are some alternatives? Thanks.

Hi , can anyone help confirm what the Vegtation.bgl needs to be off. I seems have mixed of trees from different programs. I already uninstalled ORBX Trees, but still see the FTX_Vegetation_FULL.BGL. What about vegetation.bgl.default, should this be off too?

Hello all, I have just been looking for a solution or even a topic that may alleviate my problems to no avail. I therefore apologise if it is covered elsewhere in this forum. My landing gear keeps cycling and will not stop. It happens in all aircraft and starts immediately on moving the aircraft (Taxi) In all aircraft with the feature, I get an intermittent take-off config warning indicator light flickering on initial roll and as soon as I advance the throttles to take off I get a full blown alarm and config warning lights. I'm sorry if this was already reported before and I either missed it or am completely blind. Sooo, when I import PFPX plan into P3D, it usually assigns the starting location at the originating airport at the active runway. In 4.2 I was able to change that to a specific gate, it would hold the imported plan, I'd overwrite and all would be well. In 4.3 it wipes out my imported plan and creates its own. Am I the only one or is this a bug?

I am using P3D 4.0 on a gaming computer using Windows 10... I do not, that I can tell, have any static AI aircraft at airports or in flights...is there a way to tell about flights?.... All I want is a few static or moving aircraft at airports in North America that I visit...I do not need AI planes making flights all over the world...I have my P3D traffic sliders set to at least 50%...I get nothing...I don't have an AI traffic programs that I know of.... I run three screens for my flight sim 27", one 24" for my EFB and one 7" for my Attitude Indications panel. Never had a problem before as the 7" screen was the last one added recently. I have the correct drivers for all screens. Every so often the screens change, my flight sim goes to one 27" monitor and my attitude indications goes to my 24" monitor. I have googled windows 10 info and cannot see anything to help me. I use Simple Runtime Windows Editor to set the screen resolution across the three sim monitors. Thanks in advance. Laurie

Is it possible to assign interaction (left mouse click) to a joystick button for VR? Ie. through FSUIPC? I was looking through the possible assignments in fsuipc, but couldn't immediately find something like it.

Hello, I just upgraded my OS from windows 7 to 10. No issues with any other programs post upgrade but P3d will not launch. I get a warning saying MFReadWrite.dll and MFPlat.dll cannot be found. I reinstalled P3d client and have the same error. Ideas?

I do not have payware scenery for either of these airports. Planes, loading ramps, moving ground traffic are all okay but no buildings of any kind. I have run ORBX airport elevation correction with them enabled and also disabled but no change. I cannot find any duplicate .bgl s Also did an uninstall/install of CLIENT and SCENERY with no change Any help greatly appreciated N Howard

Tried to take it up the mountains yesterday, took off from KBJC and it would not go higher than 8900 feet, it would struggle and loose torque, stalled on me twice just west of Boulder, am I doing something wrong? I loaded a flight from one the Chicago area airfields and it would fly like a champ. Is there a certain way to fly these in the Rockies? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, finally switched to p3dv4 from using fsx after updating to a new pc, any way in fsx I had set up the default start up with a trike with engines off at my home airport at the correct time zone. Hello Friends. I have a question which is driving me bananas! I'm using P3dV4.2-64. I'm having a really-really hard time adjusting the engine rpms and manifold pressure with the governor engaged in the R22. It all goes very smoothly without (the governor) except that the rpm will eventually red-line, but as soon as I engage the governor, the engine rpm does stay in the green-zone, but surges up and down, and the manifold pressure goes crazy swinging up and down very visibly. I know this is an old issue, and I have tried many -many suggestions to edit the Governor lines within the air file - which seems to help a little. Has anyone here experienced a slight pause right before ATC talks? Or whenever another aircraft responds? I noticed this happening more frequently in 4.3 and my first thought was it must be Editvoicepack XL so I uninstalled the app but I still get that stutter. Could this be an audio driver issue? I don’t really see it as a video driver issue because I’m getting excellent frame rates. 40-60fps on the ground and 60fps at cruise. My only issue is that annoying pause of my sim whenever ATC says something.

Hello all, Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am having major issues with Prepar3D V4.3 at the moment. I started experiencing issues on Friday where P3D was taking a very long time to load up after starting a scenario. I did all the troubleshooting tips suggested to no avail so decided to re-install V4.3 onto a blank SSD. Unfortunately after the re-install the problem still persists. I had installed all my ORBX scenery so I deactivated it to see if that was the cause and it was still taking a very long time to load up with nothing but default scenery. I timed it and it took 40 minutes on one occasion. What I was wanting to know was if anyone…

To this point, I have only did a Client install but I seem to be having more than normal problems with 4.3. I have a lot of studders on the ground. P3d is crashing everytime that I shut it down. Screen freezes after using for a while. I can not put my finger on it but I don't think that this version is playing well with ChasePlane or AS beta. I am holding off on reinstall til all the Dev's get things sorted out but In my case I have not had this poor of a running system since FSX days.

Hi, does anyone know a working scenery for LIPQ Trieste in Prepar3d4? Preferred Payware, but Freeware would work as well. I own the old Tropicalsim version which, according to what I read, stopped working during the Prepar3d3.x versions already. Obviously, Tropicalsim doesn't have any interest in updating it. Hello, today I made a NDB Approach in LOWS on RWY 33. An AI traffic also get the advise for a NDB Approach on 33 but when ATC gives clearence to Ai Aircraft the AI did not response to ATC so its IFR Flightplan was cancelled and AI did not land and keeps heading. Is there any chance to correct this issue?

I ran into sim troubles where I had a corrupted scenery resulting me completely wiping the sim and re-downloading everything. Now my problem is that my key commands do not save. When I was downloading everything again, I got a "Desktop could not be found" error so idk if that is the problem or the version is bad. I tried reinstalling the client and that didn't work. Does anyone have suggestions because idk what I'm doing. Thank you for the help!
