Hi all, Forgive me is posting to the wrong forum. I feel this is the right place? Looking for a paid version of KBUR & KLGB airport scenery. I did find this from Aerosoft..... https://www.aerosoft.com/us/flight-simulation/flight-simulator-x-steam/sceneries/691/us-cities-x-los-angeles ......however I am concerned this may not play nicely with my other installs of KLAX from FSDreamTeam and KSAN from ORBX plus the ORBX Global Base given the Aerosoft package contains "Highly detailed and customized mesh terrain". Welcome your thoguhts.

Not sure if this has been asked before but my question is can a headset be used only for hearing ATC while external speakers used for aircraft and environmental sounds? If so, how do I accomplish this? Thanks for any guidance. Jim

Every time when I start P3DV4 I have to go through my key- and axis assigment because they have changed since I last used the sim. I use Xbox 360 controll for Chaseplane and there is always new assigments but also in my CH yoke. How does this work in P3DV4 and how can I stop the sim from doing changes by it self in the controll assigments /Thomas ESNN

Hi all, Just recently made the switch to P3D, and am loving it. Not only is the interface more accessible to blind pilots, but its more smoother on my 64-bit machine as well. Since Its your Plane is gone, RIP, I now use FSX pilot. Because I've done almost everything with simming that there is possibly to do offline, I'd like to try my hand at Vatsim. I've heard that FSTramp can handle flying a flightplan from takeoff to landing. Great, but for the Vatsim sticklers who want the Cids and Stars flown exactly as filed, can it do this? Hello all! I get good fps in P3D. However, it's never consistent, which is why I'm looking for an fps limiter to limit my fps to around 30-45 because of constant "microstutters" or "long frames." I think this is caused by fps spikes up to 60-70 fps and then drops to 18-25. I am also confused about V-sync settings becuase I have a 1440p 144hz G-Sync monitor. I am not sure whether to enable v-sync in game, because I have g-sync and without v-sync I get monitor flickering and other issues. How should I limit my fps, should I enable v-sync in Nvidia Inspector? Should I disable v-sync. Nvidia Control Panel settings? In-game limiter? Triple Buffering Thanks Goose…

Hi: Since v4 came out, I've been building-up my collection of add-on airports (pay & free). Is there such thing as loading the sim w/ too much scenery? Not in regards to CTD/OOM but rather the sim taking too long to load or not being able to load all that extra "stuff". I ask because I downloaded a few airports from the library. When I tried to start the sim, it just hung on the P3D opening screening. So I wasn't sure if I was just trying to load too much or if maybe one of the downloaded files was corrupt. Thanks.

Hello, I recently purchased REX SkyForce, and I must say the atmospheric effects look very good. However, I prefer the ASCA clouds for both looks and performance. Is there any way I can use ASCA clouds with REX SkyForce sun/moon textures and other effects? Thanks!

Hi all I just got UTL, and wow, i missed a little fuller airports, lovely ^^. However, I noticed that all jetways (FSX once at least) move. I know that is due to exits being in the cfg etc etc. but is there a way to fix that? I don't see an option like there was with UT2. vkr vic

One of my favorite sceneries is the Drzewiecki Design for New York City. My new installation of Prepar'd 4.3 doesn't seem to recognize it to be installed. I know I was using it in 4.2. Same is true for Celosim KJAX. I was wondering if these were working for any of you have upgraded to 4.3. Upon trying to install, I get a message that Prepar'd isn't recognized in my Registry! I've done a lot of installing of planes, other sceneries, all of ORBX and have had ZERO PROBLEMS. Why is the sim not being recognized by some of these programs? Stan

A word of caution: Just in case you do not follow PMDG forums on a regular base: The latest PMDG/NGX update (via Operation Central) seems to have some issues (Saved Flights, FMC, flight plan import). PMDG is aware of it.

Is EZDOK compatible with P3D 4.3? if so, would someone please post a link to the download. Also is the Flight 1 GTN750 compatible with 4.3?

Hi Guys, Okay first and foremost, I'm sure a lot of you have your opinions on which sim is the "better" of the two, and probably just as many of you probably think both sims have their merits and I should get both. I appreciate both opinions, but that's not really the point of my question. Here's what I want to know - if I buy XP11, what am I going to be missing out on from P3D? In what aspects do you think P3D outshines XP11? I want to compare out-of-the-box experiences here; I have FSX (and every other version of MS FS) and of course a ton of add-ons for FSX (though none of the Orbx scenery), but it seems to me that many of my FSX add-ons will need paid upgrades to…

Hello I recently bought the Embraer 170 and 190 from Wilco for p3d V4 and found several errors, first the lights are not simulated, the taxi light does not turn on, and when you turn on the landing lights the cabin lights come on, but this is not what worst. After programming the MCDU in perf init and clicking CONFIRM INIT the simulator closes automatically, I have the P3D V4.3 does someone have these same problems? Someone can share their experience. I recently updated the H25B H850XP & EMB505 Phenom 300 to P3D v4 & flew them after they had sat unused for quite awhile. The Phenom was as smooth as I remembered it & a joy to hand fly. The H50XP was twitchy on the elevator & the throttle range was tight & compared to the Phenom, not such a joy to hand fly. Anyone else noticed a flight performance difference between these too? I am wondering if I have some of the H850XP FDE settings out of skew. T45

After a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit OS failure due to Firefox Quantum wiping out the Registry, when trying to re-install v 4.3, keep getting an error ........ ' One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues.......etc, etc', followed by 0x800713ec-Asia. What gives on a completely re-formatted reinstalled Windows 7 Pro 64-bit system? Any ideas, folks? Any help would be appreciated on this problem, seeing did not get too far seeking help on a joystick issue.

I've just update to 4.3 and my scenery now shows areas of night textures. If I switch off Orbix I still get the problem (but not so extensive I think). Any suggestions please. Everything was fine in 4.2 Thanks in advance

Hey all, Thought I would make a post about this issue in case anyone has some suggestions for me. I've recently upgraded my system to something pretty solid (details below), and overall the performance is great when I start, but by the time I reach my destination the sim has deteriorated into studdering every few seconds, with good frame rates in between. In other words it seems to perform well, then pause, then catch up again, then pause, then catch up. It does this every two seconds or so through the rest of taxiing, parking, etc. I'm not quite sure where to go with it. Hello everyone! Yesterday when I started my P3D v4.3 and I could'nt see the aircrafts thumbnails, instead I only saw a black window, and when I clicked "load scenario" it just stays in a constant black screen. Although I can still hear audio, and click ESC and access the menu. Thx a lot m8's!

Pierre Chassang - the French author of Concorde Performance System X - has retired and ceased work on CPS-X. This is the definitive utility for planning your flights with FSLabs Concorde-X. Formerly donation-ware, it's now free to all FS Labs Concorde pilots. A comprehensive user manual (in French and English) is included in the package. It is only compatible with 32-bit FSX and P3D v1,2 and 3. It is not known whether it will be compatible with a 64-bit Concorde-X but given the relatively simple nature of the data used there's a reasonable chance it will.
