Hi I've tried searhing this, but haven't found an answer I could use. Have anyone else noticed that using dynamic lighting the landing and taxi light hardly iluminates the taxiway? I can see it's working, but I'm really struggling to see where I'm going. I've seen it both with default and 3rd party aircraft and it's only landing and taxi light. The strobes are almost giving me more light 🙂 I'm guessing there most be somewhere to tweak the settings?

Hi, I am running 4.1 and installed Chase Plane and ORBX SC and my FPS went down to about 20. Now I installed UTL and FPS are about 7-10. I have an I7, 32 gb RAM, 980TI. It is pretty much unplayable. I would very much appreciate any suggestions. Best Bernd

Greetings all, For anyone looking for a new European airport I happened to notice in the FB Manager tool this evening that EDDN Nuremberg is now available for purchase through FB. From the manager app there's a link to the info and purchase page. From that info page it looks like this was actually done by a different team than the usual FB guys, but it looks seriously good and it will install and be maintained via the standard FB Manager. Good afternoon fellow simmers, I'm running P3D V4.2 stock other then Active sky, ASCA and orbx base package. I did an internet search on freeware add-on scenery for p3d but didn't come up with anything clear and concise. I'm wondering if there are any freeware scenery airports available for P3D? I come straight from FS9 and remember FS9 having a plethora of scenery airports freeware, having said that I also don't want to "Break" my P3D either, I'm very cautious in what I install in P3D to avoid frustration.... Hi everyone, I'm getting tired of looking at blue rivers in P3D, and I was wondering if there are any replacement textures that can make them more brown-ish? I've tried Envtex and Rex over the years, but they don't really help much. Does anyone know of any replacements exist at the moment? I'm in v 4.3 Happy flying, John

Hi All, I've had a successful fresh install of Windows 10 and P3Dv4.3. I haven't poured addons into this yet - simply working with: ASv4 FTX NA ENVTEX/SHADE AS AIRBUS PRO I disabled Antivirus, ran Addon Manger install as Admin. Ran GSX install as Admin. Ran FSDT Update as Admin. And for some reason, GSX nor the Addon Manager will show in the "Add-ons" drop down or respond to the default menu call (ctrl + F12) Any ideas?

Evening, All! Is the new C-130 that comes standard with v4.3 the Captain Sim model? If so, then can other C-130 models they made (especially the special variants like the L-100, AWACS, etc) be merged with the v4.3 C-130's VC/panel?

I have an ongoing situation with the southern regions of Orbyx South America On advice I blocked the 3 CMeteoXml.dll in P3Dv 4.3 I can now fly in this region-previously P3D closed Can someone -Poppet-tell me what these files do/are responsible for? xxd09

I was having quite a few problems with my sim after not touching it for about a week or so (I think somehow some files got corrupted 🤷🏽‍♂️) I deleted P3D and installed everything fresh including all of my add-ons. Now I do know that the first couple of times the sim is blurry and Lockheed actually admits this so that’s to be expected after a fresh install.... but my textures still seem to take an awful long time to get sharper. Eve after starting the sim 10 times. Like if I change views outside my ground textures are really slow at returning to their normal state. Is it because P3D is trying to make new cache files?

Hi guys, i had a v4.2 texture folder backup on my PC, and i replace it with my 4.3 texture folder, does anyone know where i can get the stock 4.3 folder? what addons do installs files to this folder but ENVTEX and rex . ORBX does install to there? thanks.

Hi guys i wonder if someone can help me out: I’ve recebtly just changed from FSX and well having trialed P3D V3 I totally love it! So much smoother etc. the project airbus model I have installed works like a dream and I have the wing views etc and looks fantastic the only problem is that the lights so not work. Can anyone assist me with this at all or is it basically just too out of date to run properly on P3D? Many thanks

I bought VFR France Paris-Ile de France (plus the accompanying aiport packs) a few days ago. I've been a long-time ORBX user but Paris in ORBX OpenLC EU just doesn't cut it for me, sorry. I was able to marry France VFR Autogen with ORBX using AutogenConfigurationMerger and this works (as I checked back and forth). However, I am underwhelmed by the performance of VFR France Paris under Prepar3d4.2. The scenery as such looks great and is extremely dense and has many nice objects, however (i) Autogen often loads pretty late, (ii) ground textures are blurry. Now this could be the result of my high settings, I have most of the sliders maxed, except autogen draw dista…

Trying to figure out what's going on - only some of my AI 737 planes are black. My active planes are using the TS profiles just fine - both the NGX 738/739 and Maddog X. Any suggestions how to resolve? Also - has there been a profile made for the Aerosoft CRJ? Thanks

In P3DV4.3 I have been recently plagued with a series of CTD. Apps I was running at the time were AS2016, Little Nav Map and my camera app. Since fine tuning sliders back didn't seem to fix the problem I suspected the apps. The most recent one installed was my camera app. I will not name the brand so as not to start another ( " My brand is better then your brand ") food fight but it is an older camera I used for years in FSX and seems to work as well in P3D. If I don't use it the program crashes seem to have stopped and I can move my sliders back up to enjoy the visuals LM provided us. Hi, Normally in P3D v4.2 I could double click on the FMC and it would allow me to relocate it as a new view for input ease,It simply goes blank now and can then be returned with a double click on the item,any ideas please,or is this a known bug with 4.3 ?? All the best Keith

Hi I have recently purchased the P3D simulator and well my FPS are all over the place.I sometimes get 30FPS but then drop to around 18-20FPS. My systems specs are:2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz) with 4MB L3 cache8GB (two 4GB) of 1600MHz DDR3 memory2.7GHzIntel Iris Pro graphicsCan anyone assist me with the best settings to get a better performance?

I can enter user defined waypoints in the FMC of the PMDG airliners that enable me to create a "racetrack" circuit at any airport. This is done using the format "EGPD340/6", which locates the waypoint 6nm from EGPD Aberdeen on the 340 degree radial. Can someone tell me if this is possible with the Quality Wings Avro RJ? The same format does not work.....

Hi All Hi I have just installed update Prepar3dv4 4.3.29.25520 Just to check that I did the right thing! When I clicked on the install icon, it displayed a path to Programm 86/ Lockheed Martin/........ This is not my default sim folder it is C:\Prepar3Dv4 Did I do the correct thing and direct it to my default folder, or should I have let it install to the folder it had displayed? However I would of assumed it new where its own default folder was. It continued to install the update and was happy at the end. It just stated there would be graphic issues with the first startup, then they would be resolved. Unfortunately all my graphics are corrupted…

Hello, I hope I can get assistance for my issue with VfrFlight which ask me to wait, wait and wait... It is not link to my simulator (P3Dv4.1) and it was working fine until yesterday. But, with no apparent reason, it now decided to stop working !!! Any possible reason ? No new software was installed and it is mostly used in standalone mode Thanks in advance Bruno

Hi all, I had tomatoshade worked good on my sim, yesterday i decide to give a try to another preset, the tomato indication was good and finish with success. when i open the sim i couldn't see the aircrafts on the main screen, or either start a flight, the sim was loading the bar and than black screen .. i have backup of my ShadersHLSL folder and when i put it back it works fine. the thing is i also tried to make ENVSHADE to work and also the same problem.. my sim accept only stock ShadersHLSL folder 😕 maybe someone can tell?
