Years ago I loaded detailed Venice scenery into my FSX Does anybody know if it will work in P3D V4? Is there Venice scenery I can buy for P3D V4? Where would the old Venice scenery be located in my FSX folder? Thanks Ken

I'm trying to download the latest libraries and for some reason, the downloads in FTX are paused. Going to the download menu, none of the pending downloads have the pause button selected. Any idea how to resolve?

I am interested in the FS Labs A320X and A319X products, but it will be some time before I am in a position to purchase them. I currently still use P3D v3.4, and since the P3D v3 and v4 versions of the A320X are entirely separate products, it would be a bit daft to purchase it now when my future plans are to upgrade to the 64bit version of P3D (which probably means v5 for me). However, there are certain aspects of the PMDG simulations that I consider to be very important for my own personal enjoyment, and I would like to know if the FS Labs products behave in the same way... I cannot get it to open I have fsuipc4 and Net Framework 4 installed. Also I have 8dll's, a 1.4 eng., a DB3, plus the Sim Acars in my files.

I does anybody still have FSUIPC 5.122 because all other versions make my sim stutter.

I downloaded the new Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations Bell 206 JetRanger (ersb206bv2.1.zip here in the library). I followed the instructions and when I went to select the aircraft in the aircraft menu there was no preview photo of the helicopter (it does have the name and stuff in the list). I selected the helicopter anyway but the sim crashed. Any idea what I am doing wrong? PS: It does say it is for P3D v.4. I use v4.3.

I noticed when updating to latest version, at least Taxi2gate and DDdesign scenery has to be reinstalled. Any one else having this? simobject folder inside SODE folder was empty upon the 1.6.3.installation on top. Thanks Michael Moe

Hello all I have project lasso, I have - much against my better nature - overclocked my CPU very slightly, Ive monitored the way P3Dv4 utilises the i9 and there are certainly high load times when virtually all cores are employed, but also long stretches when they are not and yet there are stutters and stalls in high load areas. Ive wondered about overclocking my card, and all to get P3D to operate smoothly, every other game I have is smooth as silk, as ever flight sims are always the most hungry. I am still not convinced that P3Dv4 utilises my hardware as fully as it should, but can only think of affinity mask as a means of getting it to do so. I am, therefor…

Hello everybody, I have this problem for several months.. Everything is going well when the loading window appears but shows nothing. To "unlock" it, I have to use the offset of fs real time and the loading starts. Hi guys It seems with my computer issues ( needing to format ) My activations have expired. I have sent support an email, I'm just wondering if you think this might be done before this weekend? To my understanding they don't work weekends? Just wondering as i really want to fly this weekend lol

I have recently updated to the latest Airac cycle 1807 but in my PMDG aircraft it shows Nav Data out of date and shows Airac cycle 1805. I have used the FMS Data Manager to update PMDG but for some reason the aircraft still show the old Air cycle. Would appreciate any help/observations please. Michael

I have this issue with almost any addon where my CPU cores drop to 20-30% and just don't work hard anymore while I'm simming. This makes my fps plummet to about 4-7. At first I thought it was my vram being maxed. (I'm now using a GTX 980 FTW with 4GB ram). 4 is on the low end I understand but I'm only at 1080P. Though I do run a smaller resolution monitor for text based things like Chrome pages (skyvector/TEC routes/pilotedge map, approach plates etc). The problem typically occurs when I go from VC to external view. It's fine at that point but as soon as I go back to VC the CPU stops working hard and fps tank. Has anyone seen this? I've rebuilt my computer and am slowly reinstalling FSX and the associated addons that I previously used. I had problems with my old setup because of incompatibility between Orbx NA PNW and Taxi2Gate KSEA that required a bunch of work arounds and patches to make both addons work properly. I'd like to avoid these problems in the new build. I'm wondering for more recent releases of these addons have solved the problems. If not, can someone recommend a suitable addon for KSEA? I remember the days of playing the " B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th " sim and how cool it used to be to fly the B-17, take off from the airfield, fly all the way to the target, having your aircraft blown to piece by the flak and incoming fighters, limping back home, not knowing if you was going to make it back to base, those were the days ( going slightly off topic there lol ) back to the subject, so what is the best one available? Couldn't really find any reviews on the two I found. How they never got around to developing a newer version of that game, puzzles me, was fun.

The title says it all - is there a way to automate Prepar3D FPS testing with different graphics settings? X-Plane 11 does - you basically record a flight and have it replay, and the system will log FPS statistics for you so that it can be consistent every time. With testing Prepar3D, I can try and take off the same way every time from the same airport, but there would be a subjective component to it. And there's no way to change the size of the FPS counter either, so it makes it hard to see. I'm running an i7-4790k on a stock 4.4 GHz turbo with a GTX 970 on triple 1440p monitors. Just borrowed a friend's GTX 1080 to run a few performance tests.

I've been trying since I purchased the addon to get a post onto the Latinvfr forum, but they haven't activated my account. Performance at KBWI in a default plane, with no weather addons running, clear skies, P3d settings in the middle, has been less than 10fps. I normally should be getting 30+ at any airport on the ground. I've turned off photoreal scenery in their manager UI, but doesn't affect performance. The airport as it is for me is unusable. I've tried some VFR flights in the DC area, and once I get off the ground, fps comes back up to 30+. On approach to KBWI as I'm getting closer to the ground, fps gets less and less, until the plane is uncontrollable …

Hi, Weird issues I'm getting with Simbrief recently... The flight plan created is made of several waypoints but when loading the generated FSX/P3D flight plan format in the sim - it is consisted of totally different waypoints. I've checked the .pln text file and it does include the correct waypoints but for some reason the sim translates it different! Appreciate any help, Shom
