Hi, I have successfully installed the superb P3D Douglas C-47 Skytrain/DC-3 Mega Pack in P3Dv5. Everything seems to work except the interaction with the Status window (Shift2 to open it). According to the manual, it is possible to modify the loading and fuel quantity with a left or right click. But it doesn't work for me. Does anyone have a clue? Is it a bug or a configuration problem? Thanks in advance. Richard.

I've now got V6 running with my PMDG and TFDi717 addons and Orbx as well as ActiveSky6 and FSHUD for ATC with AIG for AI traffic as well as FSFlyingschool to practice approaches. For all the hassles involved with registry tweaks, I am finding this the sim I am going to each day-the sim feels "atmospheric", the flight models seem good enough and the lighting and clouds are amazing in my opinion.

Ok, so I bit the bullet and puchased V6 ( I knew I would 😄). The problem I have is that ASP6 (Latest version) will not connect to P3D.(Patch 2) I have uninstalled and reinstalled many time but I just cannot get it to connect !! It complains that the 'connecter' is not running and to make sure that Active Sky is enabled within P3D addons, which it is. Also whats this about when I go to install the connector ? :- Any ideas, please?

So, I have PMDG 777 200 LR running on my P3dv6 install 🙂 This are the good news together with the fact that P3dv6 + ASP3dv6 are a perfect combination, specially dropping the volumetric clouds and using "legacy", which do actually look very nice ! Now, I have used Navigraph FMS updater to update PMDG. It automatically scanned and found the PMDG folder, installed the Navdata there ( 2307 ) but now when I try to program a simple LPMT - LPPT I stomp with an FMC warning that rw 02 is not available at LPPT and 07 not available at LPMT, because indeed the airport data as well as probably most of the Navdata that comes with P3dv6 is outdated 😞 Any suggestions on h…

I'm beginning to suspect my system is running slower than it should in P3D 4.5+. See my specs in my signature. I'm running Flysimware's Learjet, a couple of Orbx sceneries using their suggested settings, and Opus FSI. No anti-virus. Anyone else having similar specs and getting just 10-15 fps?

Hello, guys, so, here's my problem - from some time I am noticing that my effects in P3D ether do not show up in sim or they show up incorrectly. Something fishy is happening and I need help. I'll give an example - look at this video of mine: I want you to notice how the waves are appearing. This is symptom no.1. They appear incorrect as you notice. However a year ago I did not had that problem. Getting old enough to see how everything eventually changes, I’m wondering if I’m the only one thinking this. I’m wondering if LM nows this and is willing to sit and wait. Not all simusers have left and some will eventually return. There is an existant market, however small that may grow over time. Prices might be higher, but at least there will be product. Just thinking.

According to the screenshots of the game on Facebook and Weibo, it is confirmed that the next P3D airport of WFSS is Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China. According to reliable sources, only V5, full pbr modeling, sode jetway and vdgs are supported. The MSFS version will be released after the p3d version is released.

I have not upgraded to v6 yet, and I have a question about viewgroup in the new version. I use three 55’’ 4k tv as monitors in v5. After I upgraded with 3 monitors, my fps droppet from 25-30 to 15-20 when flying PMDG 737 800. ( I7 13900 CPU, RTX 4080 GPU and 32 GB RAM) It was also a big job to set up the three views in the sim. Hey guys and gals, I am very disappointed at few negatoilets who are bashing @Damian Clark and even Chaseplane for making products for P3Dv6. Honest criticism is fine and good, but bashing people on their prices is dumb. First of all, if you are bashing someone on pricing, then chances are that you have never been an entrepreneur, or even owned a company. I have a SMB, and I get agitated when someone ask about medical fees. The time and resources that these guys have spent is a lot, on top they have to come in here and get bashed up on few dollars. I have found that with Orbx libraries installed in V6 the flight planner takes a very long time to go through the steps up to saving the file. This is a bit cumbersome if one gets ATC services cancelled due to a slight delay in responding. Is there any way to prolong the time ATC allows for a response before cancelling it If anyone has any workaround to suggest that would be great

Milviz did a great thing by getting rid of their P3D inventory and made them freeware. Blackbird Simulations -Freebies (blackbirdsims.com) A wise move from a tech support perspective which show their ability to change and focus on the future. Lots of goodwill earned from their consumers I bet. I wish other devs would do the same. I installed the Milviz freeware (General Product Support - MV_310R_Redux_v3.180904_wx.zip - All Documents (sharepoint.com)) in P3D v4.5. Installing it with the included weather radar always results in a crash to desktop. Is anyone else having this issue? I

Although I have ASP3Dv6, I thought I would see if the free P3DWX program would work. The installation instructions had to be modified but it seems to be injecting live weather into the sim. Even historic weather seems to be working! The steps I took (after extracting the client files into their own folder) were renaming the original wxmapping.bin and replacing it with the (separately) downloaded version. The wxstationlist.bin was not located in %appdata$\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v6. I found it in the P3D_Root_Folder\Weather folder but P3D will ctd if you rename it so I left it alone. I also did not make any of the edits to Prepar3D.cfg, just left my current cloud set…

I need to save a view of a gauge to a joystick button. How is it done in P3Dv4? I also need to use more buttons than I have in my joysick. How do I use modifier buttons? For example, button 2 calls up the GTN panel; but holding button 1 (a modifier button) and pressing button 2 will call up the weather radar. In other words, I've doubled the use of button #2.
