Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything specific using search. I'm a real world A330 pilot and have the Aerosoft A330 Pro Add-on for the P3D v5. The fidelity is quite good from what I've seen, albeit with different engines and some options vs the aircraft I fly. The purpose of the P3D sim is as a tool to help with my own simulator preparations, and also flying to unfamiliar airports. Complex scenery etc isn't normally of great interest to me, as our work simulators aren't especially impressive, indeed more often than not we're flying at night. Anyone know why I would have black patches around the ground near BUR / LAX area? Using P3dv4, I have ORBX Global and LC, not using any ORBX SO CAL scenery. This isnt happening anywhere else.

I finished a flight EFHK - ENTC and on landing at the Tromso apt the fjord surrounding the island had disappeared and been replaced by meadows and woods. I later reloaded the ENTC scenario but there is no trace of either the fjord in Tromso or other fjords along the Norwegian coast.

It seems P3D sim Director has problem with my pc. Today I installed latest driver from NVIDIA. Btw, my specs are: Intel Core i7 9700KF. MSI NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4090 Ventus 24 GB's of VRAM. Asrock Z390 Pro4 Motherboard. Seasonic Prime TX-1300 [1300W] 80+Titanium PSU Team Group T-FORCE DELTA RGB 128 GB's of RAM [4x32GB's] 1TB SSD, 4TB's External HDD. I've had the 32-bit Concorde for FSX and later P3D v3 on various computers for over 10 years. In all that time it has given me immense satisfaction - more than any other aircraft I have owned. But after years of development the 64-bit version is now very close. The last announcement from FSL suggested a Q1 2023 release. That leaves just over a month before I might be installing. I have to say "might" since we still have no confirmation of a release date. So I continue to fly the 32-bit version with all its drawbacks. The only default aircraft I fly are the C-130, F-22, F-35, and the CH-53. I never even loaded up most of the other planes to see what they look like so why keep them? And with all the AI and scenery I install I can use the hard drive space (I don't have any issues with hard drive space now, but I am thinking in the future). So, can default aircraft be deleted? Edit: When I say delete the aircraft I mean saving them to another hard drive incase I still need them, then deleting them from the sim.

I was recently looking at Flight1 FSX aircraft available on the Flight1 Agent app and I noticed two different airplanes that caught my attention, the BN-2 Islander and the American Champion package. I really want to get these planes and see if they might work in P3Dv5. My first question, is it even possible to install FSX planes into P3Dv5 using the Flight1 agent installation method? Will it even allow me to point the installer to P3D? Does anyone possibly know if they do work for P3Dv5, or what the chances are that they will work? I downloaded the new version FFTF Dynamic P3Dv5 5.4.9.28482 but after getting "Installation complete" I get this error when launching FFTF : C:\FSPS\FFTF Dynamic P3Dv5\FFTF Dynamic P3Dv5.exe "The operation could not be completed. The file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software" I scanned the downloaded file with Windows 11 Defender but no viruses are found. I tried on FSPS to open a support ticket but upon sending I receive: " Server Error 403 Forbidden You do not have permission to access this document."

I reinstalled Jetstream Design's Nantes Atlantique scenery into my P3D (v5.4). The scenery didn't get automatically installed to the scenery library, so I had to manually add it. My question is what is the order of the scenery? Does the mesh go above the airport? Or the other way around? (It doesn't say in the manual) I did email Jetstream design this question but never got a response.

Hi, I upgraded to P3Dv5.4 a couple of weeks ago. All addon aircraft I use PMDG 737, 777, FSLabs all Airbus series and iFly 737 MAX 8 are working properly and seem to be compatible. This is not probably the case with Captain Sim 737-300 & -400, 757-200 and 767-300. Soon after starting a flight, the whole system freezes, P3D does not respond and I need to exit windows with the tower on/off button. I tried to check with their forum, but it is in maintenance mode. Anybody knows something about it ?

Hello All... I'm running P3dv5.4 which I did as a complete re-do after uninstalling v5.3 I think I made a big mistake !!! I had UTX running perfectly as an Add-on .xml....but trying to install it to 5.4 has left me with nothing but misery. I 'think' I got all of UTX uninstalled properly before trying to add it to 5.4. I also depend on Lorby P4AO to add airports (with success) to the Add-on .xml but no luck with UTX !!! Anyone have UTX up and running on 5.4 ??? Sure could use some help Thanks Skip d

I have noticed that the NAV database for my PMDG airliners includes some RNVM approaches. I assume that these are a type of RNAV approach, but when I try to use one in my 737NGX, the approach does not make any sense (it seems to double back on itself). I checked this out online, and it seems that WAAS is required to perform an RNAV GPS(M) approach (which is what I assume that RNVM is), so is this the reason why I am having problems with it? Any explanations by qualified observers would be greatly appreciated

Good Day, Is it just me or is there an issue with the Vertx DA-62 Autopilot when tracking a Direct-to GPS route. Had this issue using P3DV5.3 and now using V5.4. Did not own the DA62 before V5.3. Have lots of planes from various venders with G1000 series GPS units and the Vertx DA62 is the only one I have issues with the Direct-to function. If I start a flight and press the Direct-to button on the MFD or PFD and select a location, take-off and start flying, I cannot get the autopilot to track the Direct-to route. I use Little Navmap for planning flights and as I go searching for interesting places to fly, I notice these airports, airstrips and helipads in places like England or other parts of Europe that have these strange airport codes that don't work in a GPS. I don't understand how I'm supposed to navigate to one of these places if I can't enter it in the GPS (I use RXP for GPS navigation). Here's an example where you can see an airport with the code name of XEG0030 and just to the left of it there's a helipad named XEG0048: How the heck am I supposed to enter that into the GPS?
