Back in January I got a new computer and just now I reinstalled Flylogic Sion scenery. It installed fine, but all aircraft are sunk into the ground. This includes my plane that I am flying, AI planes, and even static aircraft. Before I got the new computer, I had the scenery installed and I don't think I had this problem (I could be wrong about that). Any idea what could be wrong and how can I fix it? Edit: I use P3D v5.3

I have P3D's frame rate unlocked and control that using NVIDIA's control panel, setting the max frame rate at 30, as my understanding based upon research and user suggestions is that doing so increases stability. However, for some reason when I undock a window my frame rate cuts in half. For example, if NVIDIA's max frame rate is set at 30, P3D shows an in-game FPS of approximately 30. As soon as I undock a window (for instance, an instrument panel) the frame rate drops to 15. Should I then open an undock a second window it drops to 7. If I set NVIDIA's max frame rate to 60, undocking a window drops the FPS to 30; undocking a second drops that to 15. Any ideas as to …

Today after starting FFTF instead of the usual configuration page, I get this message for the first time: " Offline usage limit reached: Application cannot connect whith FSPS servers. Please get online or allow traffic for FSPS application throug your firewall." I reinstalled FFTF with no success and the firewall is the Windows one. I tried to contact FSPS support but I get the message "404 This page is not available".

Only thing that remotely resembles this on my treasure hunt was something called Whazzup used in FS2004. Anybody seen, heard or use such a thing? Thanks, Mark

Just checked the Milviz site to find out the latest. Now the site is up but branded as Blackbird Simulations... Pretty much wiped of products and references to P3D

Hi there I still use P3Dv4.5 and suddenly I have complete loss of FPS at Geneva (LSGG]. It was fine before with 50+ Fps but today, they are lower than 10, even with the addonscenery deactivated and even with a default aircraft. It's only in the vicinity of Geneva and everywhere else it's still finde. Any solution I can try? Kind Regards Patrick

Hi all, recently purchased the Aerosoft A330 for v5 and as a Boeing guy I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. Is anyone aware of a tutorial or series of tutorials (preferably on YouTube) covering the basics (cold and dark > engine start/pushback > take off > cruise > descent > landing < shut down (plus anything else I've missed). Scenery looks good, however judging from available charts lacks the latest extension on the eastern side of the runway? (Maybe no satellite imagery available at the time of development, similar to Fsim Halifax and the cargo apron?) Anyway great little airport for some short haul through Europe!

I've been looking around trying to find any better Cessna Citations than the ones made by Carenado and I haven't found anything. Overall I do like flying the Carenado Citations but the systems are a bit lacking and they are often buggy, especially the navigation systems. Does anyone know if there's anything else out that's P3Dv5 compatible that is better?

Hi all- I've got this installed using Full Dynamics/EnvTex sky colors running. There's just one thing I can't figure out. How do you know which EnvTex sky color listed in the Wx Influence Configuration window is being used? All I see is 'Amplitude' in the window with all boxes unchecked (as it should be using Envtex sky colors as I understand it). Nothing listed in the AS startup log either other than 'theme installed' Any ideas? Thanks, Mark

Hello, I've been trying to solve my problem during the installation with OCI for hours. Everything was going well until the United Airlines 787 was repainted. It keeps crashing between 0% and 100% endlessly until the AIG application closes by itself 1. I did all the procedures in the instruction manual, this never happened to me before 2. I managed to install other airlines, but some really don't work and have the same problem.

I am looking for a source of a more up to date or complete ATC voicepack. Some of the callsigns or telephonies that I would like would be "AirAm", "Missi", "Lifeguard", "Medevac", "Dust Off", "Air Evac", "Copter", "Coast Guard" etc. Will EditVoicePack supply what I am looking for? I had the free version in FSX but I could never master the cut and paste of creating custom phrases? I'm learning to fly a real helicopter and I'm using P3D to train between actual flights. I'm now starting to use the radio in the Cabri G2 and would like to follow suit with P3D. I don't want to have to use text inputs to controllers, I'd like to be able to speak to "them" and hear "their" responses. The only way I've found to do this is by using P3D's Multiplayer ATC. I don't want to trouble other people while using the radio (especially when I don't know/trust them). Does P3D provide a simulated audio ATC? If not, can anyone suggest a suitable add-on? I have got three 55’’ 4K tves to use as monitors in my simulator. I have read the instructions for setting up a viewgroup, watched Youtube videos, and tried a lot, but with no success. I dint know what I am doing wrong, but I think it has to do with the values I put in for the views. I have tried to make a viewgroup with three views, left, center and right, and I think I have connected the views to the right display, but when I test, all the views are pressed together. I've ready everything I can and still do not find a good explanation. I'd like to program buttons on the yoke under Mode 2 to do things such as switch to external view for UGCX (such as Alt+E) and zoom in/out those views. I program, I quantize the time, I save but it just doesn't work. Something maybe with the mode switch not being recognized? Because if I program a switch that for example is a flap extension in Mode 1, it is still a flap extension in Mode 2.

I love the C47/DC3/Dakota freeware generously provided by the Jahns/Metzger et al. It flies great, I love the copilot dialogue feature but one thing bugs me. The F9>F12 function key views are non standard. I like to see F9 for virtual cockpit, F11 for locked spot, and F12 for top down. I'm pretty good with editing .cfg files and less good with .xml but I'd like to fix this. Does anyone have a file that would accomplish my goal or at least point me to the process necessary to do it myself? Thanks for listening.
