Hello to all, hope everyone is doing well. I am in need of assistance with Imagine Sim VIDP, I recently upgraded to P3D v5.4 from P3D v4.5. I immediately noticed that I am missing the buildings that is between the jetway and the terminal building. All was fine in v4.5, and while I get that Imagine Sim VIDP is not compatible with P3D v5.4, there is a video on YouTube of a landing at VIDP using P3D V5. I tried to set the scenery up top of the index list, and I tried to max out my settings to no avail. I appreciate any tips or support you can offer. Thank you kindly!!

Trying to understand what’s best to use, SSAA or MSAA? I’ve heard one is better then the other at day or night, etc i have an i9-10850k and a rtx 4070. using p3dv4

I'm building a new rig, primarily for P3D and MSFS. What is the most humane (and legal) to move flight sim files from one to the other. I have very large installations of these sims plus ORBIX and a few others. Can I use my existing license numbers to download a fresh installations to the new drives? Should I try to clone the drives? That would leave all the old junk on the new drives. Do I have to re-purchase the sims? Thanks.

guys, this is not meant as critique or negative in no way, simply interested in other users preferences/use cases: tell me why is anybody still using P3D in year 3 after MSFS, except for multi-monitor support, some specific aircraft that might only be available for P3D or historic weather? performance wise I am seeing ca. 70 fps with most settings at Max at 4K in both sims, (MSFS even twice that with NVidia FrameGeneration enabled), especially since P3D comes with nearly no useful GA or airliner aircraft.

Tonight I installed Orbx scenery for Eagle County (Vail) (KEGE). The install went fine and the airport shows nicely in the sim but every time I start the sim it asks me to activate the scenery. Why is that happening? No other Orbx scenery ask me to activate it at start up every time. How can I stop it from happening? I want the scenery active and not have to activate it every time at start up.

Hi: Can someone please help me configure power leavers for Milviz KA350 P3DV5. I'm using the bravo throttle quadrant. Power leavers are NOT configured in P3D. Power leavers ARE config. in FSUIPC. I've tried to configure using the KA "MVAMS" but that only made it worse. I'm not sure how to remove changes/entries I've saved. I can manually adjust the power leavers by "grabbing" with the mouse but when I move the power leavers on the quadrant, they don't respond in the airplane. All the other inputs from the quadrant work fine, condition levers, prop levers, gear, flaps. Just not the throttle. Thanks.

I am starting to use pilotedge for ATC communications. The controllers use real world navigation/chart data. I am going to install FSaerodata for navdata but I am thinking I will need a solution to update runways/taxiways in P3D to be closer to the real life data ATC would be looking at... Does anyone know of a good resource/list to find airport layout updates? Of course I can search for scenery for individual airports, but I don't know how I'd tell if it was just a cosmetic eye candy update or an actual airport layout update... Thought I might as well ask. I don't have scenery for Barcelona (LEBL) or Madrid LEMD) and I want to get scenery for them. Which scenery would you recommend? There is Aerosoft or LatinVFR (maybe JustSim?) If one is more up to date (terminal, runway, and taxiway wise) I will get that one, but I don't know which one that would be.

It runs then throws up a black box, about two inches tall full of version numbers. It says my version is not compatible? Anyone else seeing this or am I an edge case? (Usually harder to find and resolve 🤨) TIA, -B PLEASE SEE LAST POST

Hey all, I recently upgraded my motherboard and new GPU and now I am getting weird lag spikes at Imaginesim KATL / KAUS. Prior to upgrading Mobo and GPU, I've never seen this. For instance, I will be getting 70+ FPS and then turn in another direction and it will instantly drop to 30 and start lagging like slow motion then go back up, then I will turn in another direction, same thing. It will not stay smooth in any direction. I have reinstalled both sceneries, still issue. Any ideas? System: i9-10850K, RTX 4070, 32 GB DDR4 Ram. Something weird is happening with the Flight Control Replay for my sim. It works only for MSGS2020 and no longer for P3D. Does someone else has this issue? I am btw on 4.5 HF3, not on the new version.

I have a strange issue with uk2000 Stansted scenery.... wondering if anyone else noticed or experienced as well. The clouds around the airport (using ActiveSky) is flickering .... Anyone else observed?

I have the following sceneries. LatinVFR - San Juan (with Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport) MK Studios - Keflavik (with Akureyri Airport BIAR) Project Max - Yellowknife At Yellowknife, Akureyri, and Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airports there are static GA aircraft that have no textures. I think they are the same models because they all look kind of the same. Ideally, I would like to delete them but since I can't I would like to get the textures for them. Hello everyone! I was wondering how to activate ACARS and CPDLC in PMDG 777 to display messages in COMM on the EICAS. When I click on COMM, it display: « Use Center CDU for ACARS and CPDLC » on the EICAS but I don’t know how to do it and I need help.

I have all but two add on working in V5.4. It seems HIFI Active Sky and Flightbeam KMSP scenery don't work. By chance, anyone else using these two? Thanks. Bob G.

Is there any way I can modify the autopilot controlled bank angle limit? At preset, with autopilot engaged and a turn commanded (eg via HDG control) the bank angle will go to a limit of 30 degrees in roll. The altitude feedback control is tfirst slow to react, then over-compensates. The result is altitude deviations of +/- 200 feet, and rates of climb/descent oscillations between +/- 1,500 feet/min. All help appreciated.

Hi, guys, would like to ask - is there any Bathymetry mesh product available for P3D? Because I took the Pilot's FSGlobal Ultimate mesh and it does not contain bathymetry one, just the continents. I'll be glad on any advice, payware or freeware.

Good evening (well, at least it's evening here in Sweden). I really like my big PMDG birds. Got P3D up and running nicely along simzilla and XP. However my skies are empty and I would like to change that. It's been a long time since I really dabbled in P3D. What is the go to solution for the question in the title of the thread?
