Milviz KA Power Leaver Config.

Featured Replies

Hi:

Can someone please help me configure power leavers for Milviz KA350 P3DV5.

I'm using the bravo throttle quadrant.

Power leavers are NOT configured in P3D.

Power leavers ARE config. in FSUIPC.

I've tried to configure using the KA "MVAMS" but that only made it worse.  I'm not sure how to remove changes/entries I've saved.

I can manually adjust the power leavers by "grabbing" with the mouse but when I move the power leavers on the quadrant, they don't respond in the airplane.

All the other inputs from the quadrant work fine, condition levers, prop levers, gear, flaps.  Just not the throttle.

Thanks.

Some addons don't play well with FSUIPC's calibration features.  Try assigning the hardware axes to the throttles in FSUIPC as "normal" axes rather than sending them direct to calibration.

Thanks.  I'll keep playing with calibration based on your feedback.

I'm running P3D v4.5 HF3. I was not able to get the Milviz KA levers to work with the Bravo TQ using FSUIPC no matter the settings. And I use FSUIPC for all controls in all other planes of which I have several.

I had to assign the levers in P3D axis assignments. I had to select Reverse for all axes. I also had to go into calibration and adjust sensitivity up to the maximum for several of the axes. With that, they do work just fine. I was able to assign the reversers to the "button" press of pulling the throttle levers back past the detent.

I was able to assign the other flight controls in the KA to my Alpha yoke and CH rudder pedals through FSUIPC. Now when I want to fly the KA I have to assign the throttle/prop/"mixture" axes in P3D and then delete them when I switch back to another plane. A little bit of a hassle but not really a big deal. And the KA is pretty nice so I find it worth the effort.

Thanks for listening,

Kail
