I'm going to build my new PC and the current one have a P3Dv4.5hf3 which I have "rised" for years with all it's add-on and tweaks. If there is any possibility to prevent do it all over again? The system itself won't carry, current PC is still on win7, that won't have chance to work on new hardware anyway. In the past I have carried FS9 from XP to Win7, with all kinds of registry export/import, but still some add-ons have to be reinstalled and problems here and there..... When I try to switch to win10 on my current PC, I tried but most add-ons won't work well without have to reinstall them one by one, that's one of the main reason I stucked on win7 for …

Anybody got this app working successfully on Win10 w/P3Dv4.3? I get an error 9 with something about a script not being read after opening P3D. Left message with developer regarding this but haven't heard back. I was also looking at LAAP as an alternative but have not been able to register on their site to download it. The site is in French and I think some my be awry during translation to English. Thanks, Mark

Hello, since 1-2 days I have the issue whenever I start P3D v5 I get following message on the startup screen (before the main menu opened): "Your computer has run out of available memory. Please restart Prepar3D and select different graphics, scenery, or traffic settings." (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/Ej3sXrn ). I've only had intermittent luck moving addon aircraft from my P3D root drive to another drive. It's likely user error rather than an inherent problem with the system. Is there any downside to using a junction link instead of an xml file to "point" P3D to an alternate location? I've used this system in FSX without a hitch.

Hi All, I soon will be doing a lot of travelling and will spend a lot of time in hotel rooms. 🥲 Am thinking of getting a new gaming laptop mainly for Prepar3d v5.0 and the PMDG 747. Also want to hook up a tablet to use as a wireless CDU. What spec of laptop do people recommend to get it running smoothly? Best Regards, WB

Hey,guys...as title states I am stumped...Installed some TDS planes and all was good..went on a binge and loaded a bunch of models and wings disappeared...discovered a title without the credit...removed it and still no wings..removed ALL TDS and installed one new TDS plane with the correct title line..still no wings....no TDS planes in P3D4.5 except just the one with good title line...any ideas? asking here because I don't do facebook..thanks

I am having great issues with all aircraft, fslabs, pmdg and p3d which all begin to stutter (shake) after takeoff. All normal until takeoff. I have today reinstalled v5.3 on my I7 6700k cpu with a 3060 card. This all started a month ago, I have not been able to get this behaviour to stop and a clean install today has not fixed this at all! Does anyone know what could be at issue, everything was running really well just a month ago. I do not normally need assistance however this has me stumped! Hello all So i was wondering if anyone out there could help me with a question. I just got KEWR from Drzewiecki Design and there are alot of the gates missing in both Terminal B and C as an option to use when going into the airport scenery from the route menu Is there a way to add them or am I just stuck with what I got as the choices. The Lionheart Quest Kodiak v4 installation works in P3Dv5 up to a point. I cannot create a startup scenario with the aircraft because it won't start. Either using Ctl-E or trying to start it from the panel I can see the prop pitrch change and hear the start motor run..and run...and run...and run. No matter what I do to the throttle or fuel lever nothing happens. Right now I am creating a startup scenario with the default Mooney and then loading the Kodiak from there. Then it starts fine. Any hints as to what the problem is? I've even tried creating a startup scenario with the engine running but when I bring it up the engine is stopped. Noel

Hello! Does anyone know my P3D v5.3 is that bright at night?

I noticed recently that the textures on the hangars (and one or two adjacent buildings) at Jurby Airfield in the Earth Simulations Isle of Man package were not being displayed (the models were jet black). I seemed to recall encountering a similar issue at ES Alderney many years ago, so I conducted a search, and found the following thread here at AVSIM..... https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/481183-earth-simulations-alderney-black-houses/?tab=comments#comment-3351485 Based on the identified solution in that thread, I copied all of the textures in the ES-3D/Texture folder that started with "Jurby..." to the main Prepar3d v4 texture folder......and it worked! Hi. Im looking for a weather engine (program) that doesn't instantly pop weather changes in and out. This drove me nuts with FS9/FSX and I was never able to resolve it. It would be clear the whole flight and then on short final an update would instantly put me in the soup when I wasn't configured for ILS...or the wind gusts would keep making me go back and forth between overspeeding and normal cruise. I don't really need the most detailed hi end clouds or tons of features...just smooth transitions, or any way to not have the instant back and forth. I was hoping that modern weather programs would not do this any more. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just want to know what's up with Milviz's website. I was looking at some planes to buy and when I go to the store page for an airplane, just above the "add to cart" button is showing the price for all of their planes at $0.00 and when I click on add to cart I just get a message saying saying "Sorry, we can't find that page.". Did Milviz suddenly pull all their P3D products or something? I noticed some planes are now listed as P3Dv5 compatible that were not the last time I checked the site and I really wanted to buy them. Hi; I'm delighted that Milviz has released many of their pre MSFS titles for free download. My problem is, that even with my anti virus disabled, the download either fails or leaves my with a corrupted version. Any thoughts?

Is there somewhere to download the manual(s) for the Sky Simulations DC-9 for p3d? Is there even a manual for them? I'm not finding one anywhere on my system and the "Manuals" section of the website is just a Checklist.

...take a long, long time to boot after installing the majority of models and repaints from AIG? We're talking 15+ minutes this morning before I had to turn it off and go to work. I want to stress that I don't mind how long it takes to boot, just as long as it does 🤞👌

I look for Poseidon or other navy paint for 737-800 ( P3D5 ), but i cannot find any. I know that we talk about something which will mimic only Poseidon plane, but any help would be great

Hello - quite a few of my installed sceneries seem to be missing the Scenery folder ... most recent is Just Sim LTAI (Antalya) ... installation seems normal and complete - but not automatically inserted into P3D v5 scenery library - and trying to add manually the 'Scenery folder missing' message appears ... help!!

Just wanted to fly on QW787, but when i want to set my position, the degree symbols seem like this: It happened before, i solved it but it was a very long time ago so i don't remember how to... After formatting my PC i reinstalled the sim and th e QW 787 and all started again... Any ideas? Btw the default language package of my pc is Turkish, can this problem be related with that? Not sure which is best forum for this. Have the new v3 version. Can't get the Navigraph data to update. Path is P3D V5/Feelthere/ND (ND has no data) This path was the default on Autodetect. Searched other forums but no solution.

I love P3D. I run the latest version with the two hotfixes. For me it's perfect with its imperfections, although I hope a next version will address some issues regarding truesky, performance. Hard to explain, but the landclass is fine for me. I like the colouring and texturing of it. On the other hand I also have some true earth regions and that's fine too. But it's not a prerequisite to enjoy a flight. The most interesting thing is the navigation (ADF/VOR or GPS) and procedures SID/STAR/ILS etc. I also have MSFS but I don't use it often; don't know; too polished or so. I also must say that I like to tinker with ADE, Sbuilderx and modelconverter. Tinkering with this…
