Hi all- I'm having great fun moving my photoscenery over to the addons menu. No problems with any of that and just have a few more to go. Now, my PS in the addons menu is scattered all over the place. You can sort by title and directory but that seems to be an alphabetical endeavor. Is there a way to group all of my Megascenery in the addon menu? In the add-ons.cfg they are all back to back but the addons menu does not reflect this. Any ideas?

How to change date in a saved *.fxml? Which line to look for? Are there apps that edit parameters of *.fxml? Thanks.

After a couple of decades of casual flight simming I'd become cautious of which developers to buy International Airports from and up to the other day there was only 3 devs. on the list (4 if you count ORBX). They are pretty obviously FSDT, FB and FT. I'm definitely on a hiatus from buying addons but when I saw MK-Studios EIDW on sale for 30% off, I couldn't resist since its my home town. I hardly ever fly in Europe despite having much of the accoutrements installed. Most of my sim time in spent in PNW. As the title states, KBOS is missing from my list of airports. It does appear on the map on the start page. Any ideas on a fix?

Posted this on the P3D forums and I'm duplicating here at Avsim. Hi gents, I'm having an annoying problem on using mouse to operate the 4.3 version. Everytime I click and drag the mouse (using some lever for example, throttle, prop, mixture, etc), or when I right click, or clicking MMB, my sim freezes and it only come back if I put the cursor out of the screen or at a menu item. I've tried with 4 different GPU drivers (with and without NVInspector), including the last Nvidia driver, and with a full installation of P3D (even deleted all the LM folders at MyDocs, Appdata, ProgrameData after unistall to make sure I clean everything, etc). Any help with moving large folders from SSD to HD. I tried to use Link Shell Extension program and got everything messed up and had to uninstall P3Dv4. Have not tried to reinstall yet. Be nice if there was a way to install on the large drive instead of the SSD.

The only saved state that seems work on a consistent basis is the "Ready for Flight" selection. I like to use the "Cold and Dark" but if I select and save it, it seems to only work some of the time. If I so much as move the plane to another airport it no longer works. In that I mean when I click on the Master Switch nothing happens even though the switch does move to the "On" position. Don't know what I'm doing wrong here. Even shutting down P3d and restarting doesn't fix it. Anyone else experience this? Thanks for any guidance. Jim

As RAAS is announcing rw 11 / 29 at Bodrum I read that I needed MakeRwys to scan the airports to fix that. However, Bodrum, like more addon airports is using the xml install way. MakeRwys scans airports based on the scenery.cfg file. Is there a workaround for this ? Thanks,

London has always been one of the most demanding areas to fly around in the FS world, and the detailed representation of this area in TrueEarth GB South has only served to highlight this even more. However, I must admit that I have been rather impressed with the framerates over London since upgrading to my new PC this year. Hi all, after an update P3Dv4 to a latest version I noticed that night flying is impossible, because aircraft taxi and landing lights are nearly invisible. Or mainly the taxi lights, but I think landing lights should be a little stronger either. I tried everything I find on forums: set MOON_PHASE_LIGHTING=0 or to false, set MAX_POINT_LIGHTS=800 MAX_SPOT_LIGHTS=700 (from 250), tried play with dynamic light, lens flare and cloud cast and nothing works. Not sure if this is the right forum, but I don't see a dedicated forum for Blue Sky Scenery. Really nice scenery, but I can't download one of the California files. It is the AZ_North3West10_FSX.zip file. When I try to download, it goes to a page where it says it is generating a KEY and then counts down. It never gives me the actual file to save... Anyone have this file?

My specs are below. I am using a Dell U3415w w native 3440x1440 display and was hoping someone might be able to tell me what resolution setting within the sim would give me the best performance without losing anything visually. Hi guys, With this airport I am guided between both runways when following the ILS. I have checked in the airport / runways/gates menu and see runway 11 and runway 29. This has to be runway 10L and runway 28R. I have contacted Torsten and he showed a screenshot of FSX with the default 737 and the 2 pink ILS diamonds matched the runway of the addon Bodrum. Reinstalling the scenery does not solve it. No other airport I have and flew to has this behavior, Looking in the addon Afcad it shows runways 10L and 28R for ILS. How come that P3Dv4, as it seems, only sees the default Afcad file and not the addon Afcad file ? I have no traffic packages with Afcad file…

I am still on FTX Central 3 and have not upgraded to version 4 after reading of all the issues. Have these been worked out now and its safe to upgrade? I would like to do so in order to keep getting updates to Chaseplane. Interested in what that latest is on this.

Wondering why it takes so long, as an example, to develop the airbuses for P3D whereas I keep seeing new Airbuses, and many other aircraft for X Plane coming out must faster. Any ideas? Moderator: wasn't sure where to post this, so please move if necessary.

So I've had this plugin for a while but I cant ever tell if it is working correctly. Seems every airport i depart or arrive to over half the gates are empty. Maybe 20 planes in an airport like DFW. I compile like i am supposed to and use the maximum setting. Do I have to do this every time before i open P3D? Anyone having similar issues ? Thanks

Let's say a flight to Santa Barbara KSBA, rwy 07, RNAV or ILS I flight with the GNS 530 from RXP and the realair Turbine duke, flight plan load, take off, following the gps (cdi on gps, autopilot NAV), everything good till there. Hey guys, I just fired up DA62 in my P3D4.5HF2 and I am still blown away by it. It just looks so good and the ambiance is just right. It just needs few more updates to G1000 (needs to be fully complete with SIDS/STARS etc), some damage modelling, and A2A rain effects (would be so cool to see water effects when two engine blades are spinning in VR) as that would make it the perfect GA bird. It is not even funny on how close to perfection this aircraft is. I hope all is well for @Sean Moloney (I did email him the other day to see how is he doing, haven't heard back yet) and @rudi0310 (miss your videos). Just hoping Sean read this.
