Hello guys, very open question but why not ask! ok I been using P3D since who knows when and I never ever touch the sound settings, I dont have a special sound card or anything similar, my upgrades are always more toward SSD's, video cards etc, so my question is; is possible to have a sound balance on the sim, I keep the default but sometimes depending on the add-on aircraft I get super loud engines or super quiet, whats you recommendations or settings? thanks for any support.

So I just picked up DD JFK/LGA etc. When installing i accidentally clicked no to add to my scenery library. When I go into my scenery library I can't click the box to activate it since its greyed out. I don't know how to uninstall it and reinstall either since it doesn't appear to have an uninstaller. Any ideas how I can activate this in the scenery library?

Hello all, I just wanted to give a huge, and I mean HUGE, shout out for Bert. I recently got the RXP GTN750 to replace the Flight1 programme which I could not get to work despite all the help, from so many people, on these forums (Forae??) Downloading and installing the RXP software was incredibly simple using the Flight1 red fight wrapper, that, according to Flight1 was no longer usable????. Before downloading, I disabled Avira, Win Defender and, after numerous installs of the RXP GTN, uninstalled Advanced System care. I was installing RXP as administrator. After a lot of fruitless installs, I could not get the programme to work at all. all the …

Hello, Randomly since this morning, my P3D selected the default Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 that came with my pc, however when I change it to my NVIDIA GTX 960 and press OK it automatically switches back to the Intel graphics card. Because of this my fps has dropped to the point where I can't fly any plane anymore. Any tips on how to fix this? Kind regards, Luc

I have been using active sky for years and have no real complaints. I bought Rex Skyforce on sale because I read that the clouds look better. So I have been using Skyforce clouds with Active Sky weather and it seems fine. I decided just to try Skyforce weather and I got to see different clouds than I have seen with Active Sky but the transitions are terrible. Cloudy skies then boom clear skies when the weather loads. This looks horrible and takes away from the experience. Now I don't fly anything, I am strictly an ai spotter but I use Super Traffic Board to watch flights. So watching a long flight really looks bad when clouds are just popping up every 10 minutes or so. Ha…

Hello, I think I may have narrowed down my CTD's in Europe to a possible incorrect installation of FLAI. I have FLAI models installed into my root sim under simobjects/airplanes. If I disable FLAI from my addons all my add on aircraft and most stock P3D aircraft disappear. Was I supposed to install my FLAI to a separate folder completely outside of P3D?

Is there a way to select an option in P3D so the ai aircraft fly with their lights off? Thanks, LouP

Good day, On V4 after I saved a profile under Display Global Settings profile name will show "custom" despite the fact that is saved under a different name. On v3 when I saved "ABC" as a profile that "ABC" will show as a profile not "CUSTOM" as it happens in V4, I'm I doing something wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards, Alex

Hey Guys, after I couldn't find help in the EzDok Forum (Not even an answer for days) I try to find help here. EzDok stopped working for me days ago without a change to the simulator. "Simconnect did not respond withing 2 Minutes" is all I get atm. But even waiting for a hour I can't get it to work anymore. Steps I already took: - Reinstall all Simconnect files - Reinstall Ezdok several times - checked for updates - Checked exe.xml - Checked AV Software - run the EZCA config tool Any Idea how i can solve this? Thx in advance

Hey, Maybe some of you could help, First time I installed the turbine duke everything was fine, recently I had to reinstall it for a gps problem, but no when in outside view, a big part of the aircraft is invisible, tried to delete the shaders folder but nothing change. Any clue ? Thanks

Please tell me where to download ORBX Version 3 Central. I thought all was OK, and it was when I retained version 3 while running version 4 Central. It kept asking me if I wanted to delete version 3 when I started Central, and I refused. Eventually though, I gave in and deleted version 3. I thought all was OK, but now I see that I cannot correct ELEVATIONS at certain airports (KLAS, KDEN, Etc) I tried the configure elevation control in ORBX vector, but nothing works. When both versions of Central resided on my computer, all was OK. Where is the specific location to re-download version 3? I'll let it co-exist with version 4. Thanks. Stan

Hello! I just bought p3d but have previously played fsx SE. I have now noticed as I have tried on the game that all weather themes have the same wind direction. I also have Orbx weather which also they also have the same wind direction. This means that I can only land on the same runway at all airports. Does anyone know how to solve this. So this was not the case on Fsx SE, do not think it should be so in P3d V.4. Sincerely Axel

Greetings! I have an issue where both Plan-G and SimLauncherX no longer display the aprons and taxiways for airports. I have used them in the past to set parking spots (i.e., close to runway, GA size (small, medium. large), etc) but they no longer appear despite rebuilding the database for both products. The only thing I have changed, substantially, is the installation of the Flight1 GTN Combo package. Is this something others have seen? I have not (yet) decided to reload the Content portion of P3D4.5HF2 to see if that corrects the problem, but if the GTN install removes all that information that would be grounds for immediate dismissal!

For now I have P3D V2.5 and my first thoughts about the question has been NO of course not. Reason for that has been 1) MSFS2020 is coming and that is going to render P3D V4 uninteresting since it seem to be so much better than anything we have seen before. 2) The new P3D V5 will soon be coming and be a better simulator. But I have been thinking about some possible counterargument to this 1) I have heard opinions that I will need a complete new system for MSFS2020 and that is not an option anytime soon. Also if I would get the new MS simulator I will not throw out the old sims since I have purchased advanced add on planes from A2A and the Majestic …

Hello everybody, I'm making a home cockpit of Cessna. I have a problem with lighting on my Carenado Aircrafts. I fly on P3D V4. When I turn ON lighting (Strobe, Landing Lights, Taxi Lights...) I almost can't see them. On my A2A Aircraft the light is perfect but not on my Carenado... How can I solve this ? Thank you for your help Ludo

Hi lately I've been plagued with P3dv4.5 HF1, everytime I change a setting either by the P3dv4.5 GUI or by any shader program be it Envtex, REXSF, anything, when I restart p3d the splash screen appears for a bit and then the computer shuts down completely, restarting and all is ok, the updates that were applied recently were Envtex latest update, REXSF update, GSX, that I can think of, event viewer shows nothing, uninstalled graphics driver via DDU, still shuts down, I haven't updated p3d HF2 as yet but all other products have been as I was waiting for P.T.A to be updated and prob will be waiting a while, win10, 32g, am I a lone ranger on this or is anyone else experienc…
