Hi all, I've tried at the Aerosoft forum but despite their best efforts they were unable to help. Does anyone have the Aerosoft A330 Pro and Saitek throttles and have reverse thrust working properly? I can get everything to work except the reverse thrust - that's trying both the P3D standard enabled controls and FSUIPC controls (either/or situation, not at the same time obviously). Does anyone else have their cloud shadows going in and out in the VC like they’re below the clouds even if they’re well above them? It’s weird but I’ve always experienced this with P3D and I’m wondering if others are seeing the same thing I do....

Hello all, Let me say that this topic, query is aimed at experienced XPlane11 and P3D users. I have been using the built in camera system in XPlane and I was wondering if there is an equivalent for P3D. What I am talking about specifically, is the system where a cockpit view is set up using the pan switch and or arrow keys and then that view can be permanently captured using "Control = Numberpad 0-9. This allows a user to set up 9 camera views inside and outside the cockpit. A camera view is recalled simply by pressing a number on the number pad corresponding to the view required. So I decided to buy Orbx New Guinea bush airfields, to try my hand at bush flying. The GTN database does not show any bush airfields that I have installed from Orbx. Obviously the GTN does not read the scenery cfg from my P3d install. So the question is, how can I get the simulators database into the GTN? Plan g has a superb facility to update it's map database for the simulator in use. I wonder if someone knows how this can be done for the GTN? Whist I appreciate the GTN database enables pilots to fly in real world navigation, that's little use to my flights in New Guinea, using simulated strips by an add on maker, in my simulated bush aircraft! …

Can anyone please tell me from a technical point of view why the yellow hydraulic pump is used when the Nose Wheel Steering and Anti Skid switch is in off position? Why is the hydraulic system switching from the green pump to the yellow pump in this case when using the brakes? Thank you! Best regards Andi

Hi all, has anyone else with the Flight1 GTN series has issues with their Garmin units after updating to the latest Trainer? I believe version 2.6.0? I’ve been having crashes, issues with the display when in map mode, and a couple of other things. Yes I am in contact with F1 in their forums but I just wanted to know if anyone else out there has run into issues after updating to the latest trainer. Thanks

Hi, Recently i noticed that whenever i run ORBX central it removes digital design liverpool from my sim. The scenery still shows in the scenery library, but just shows the defualt terrain and airport buildings - no airport scenery. I have to reinstall the scenery for it to work again, but if i open ORBX central, the scenery disappears. any thoughts?

In the latest version, stuttering intensified. I did a test. Gently moved the mouse cursor across the screen. Started and stopped the ChasePlane. The result in the video. The cursor shows stuttering every 4-5 seconds. Try it yourself.

In the Display settings I have 2 Nvidia GeForce drivers. RTX 2060.0.0 and RTX 2060.0.1. I select the 2060.0.1 which gives me a resolution of 3840x2160x32, but for some reason it keeps reverting back to the 2060.0.0 giving me a max resolution of 1920x1080x32. I want to delete the 2060.0.0 as P3D keeps defaulting back to this driver. Before I could select the higher resolution with no problem, but for some reason I can no longer keep that selection when starting the flight. I have done a clean install of the latest driver, but still continue to see the old driver in P3D. Could someone please tell me what I need to do to delete this old driver? Thanks for your help. …

hi, i would like to know if there is an offline (not vasit etc) atc program for p3d v4 that can give you exact directions to land in any airport that doesnt support ils, under low visibility conditions (bad weather, fog etc). the default atc does it in a way , but not as good as i would like to. thanks

Hello All, In P3D v3.4 and FSX before I used MS intellipoint software to get the middle button on the mouse to generate the Shift-O keystroke that enables mouse look. When I'm on the Win 10 desktop the version 8.2 Intellipoint 64-bit does work fine to do program-specific actions, but in P3D 4.5 it just doesn't work. I have a very long history of the convenience of simply pressing the middle mouse button to pan and zoom, but can't do it now. My first thought was the FSUIPC should easily do this but alas I see no way to make the mouse button deliver a key combination or keystroke--just mouse 'macros' and I don't know if that could work also. After a P3D failure, having problems loading previously problem free P3D V4 Current situation. On loading via admninistrator, get opening PREPAR3D screen followed by building database for new scenery files etc (quite short loading time?) .Get Prepar3d screen start up No aircraft shown in aircrat window and map scenery window not populated. Normally see aircraft and map details of loaded default file.e.g eggp. Shortly afterwards P3D CTD The normal long winded loading of files on start up does not happen? There are several posts lamenting the fact we don't have a study level B767 simulation for P3Dv4+. Best B767 simulation IMHO is Level-D's but they're not upgrading it to P3Dv4. Some have even doubt Level-D still exits. In other posts I've suggested reputable developers approach Level-D (if they're still around) and propose a partnership to bring the B767 to P3Dv4. Clearly most would think PMDG first, but it doesn't have to be just them. I've suggested MilViz because they could also offer the USAF's KC-46 tanker. Who do you think could do it? Aerosoft? Just Flight? Would you buy it?

Hello everyone, I decided to put this problem on this forum to get help from someone who has already been through it and can help me solve this situation. I have been trying to solve it for some time, i have visited forums to try to solve but so far without success. As you can see in the images there are some parts inside and outside that present problems in textures a kind of reflection. However, during the day there are no problems with textures. I did a new installation and when I went to test if everything was ok I noticed that during the night there were these problems with the textures even on ground(grass,runway, etc). Hello fellow simmers! I am interested in purchasing the QW787 for P3Dv4, however with FS2020 round the corner, I'm still very interested to buy it. However, I would rather not "rebuy" or simply abandon the aircraft when going into FS2020. Therefore, I was wondering whether anyone had any idea based of experience/ knowledge of whether this would potentially be a "rebuy". I'm aware of the lack of info from developers, but any thoughts would be nice. Or should I (painfully) drop it and just wait to buy the PMDG 747 for FS2020 when it's converted? 😁

The attached pictures show what information I get on the FMC APROACH REF page, is no longer used. The 109.70 freq. is no longer used. The new course, 315 degrees. All databases are updated. Hi, although title says it again, it's not quite the same. No problems with terrain.dll or any other dll ever, but yesterday, i started modifiying my initial Isle of Man scenery (made only from photoreal layer and shp files converted into working scenery using ScenProc). Everything worked just fine, but when after adding some more vegetation (just started modifying and wanted to see the first result) and saving the modified scenery, troubles began. I've uninstalled the old scenery (made all the modifying into a fresh folder), exited the p3d, reentered, installed new (with additional vegetation) scenery and until i try to "touch" the modified tile, all's fine. So I have P3Dv4, and have been flying the beautiful FSLabs a320 around. However, having used it for over 30+ flights nonstop, I kinda felt the need to switch to another aircraft. I remember a news item on FSElite a year ago about a developer called DC Designs and their upcoming EGLF Farnborough package for P3D. However, I have not heard anything since. Does anyone know if this is still in development? It would be nice to have a good quality version of Farnborough in P3D.
