Hi! To start, this might be the completely wrong forum and if so , I apologize. Also, I´ve already created a topic on the Aerosoft forum, but I wnated to see if anyopne here knew the answer. I was prepering for a flight from FACT-LSZH and when I, on the INIT page put in the DEP/ARR airports, I receive the message saying "Not in database". The same happened with other airport as well such as ESSA, LFPG and FACT. I checked if only LSZH wasn´t working, but all other airports also can´t be found in the database. When I first enter the FMGC, it shows that I have AIRAC 1913. Does anyone know the fix for this? Wilhelm

Hi , i read on FB messages about better framerate when deleting ORBX. I have ORBX for 4 years now, has it really become old-fashioned ? I can read stories of better performance and not such a big differences without it when flying airliners and no VFR... opinions ?

I'm considering to purchase it. But a major criterion for me is: Can I save the flight situation when airborne and reload this situation at another day without any (panel state) flaws?

First I apologize if this is in the wrong forum - let me know. I have a general question to do with adding a second PC laptop to possibly aid in the smoother running of my P3Dv4.5 on my main PC. My main and only PC runs P3D, ChasePlane, Active Sky, Sky Force, Navigraph, Little NavMap, EFB2 Server and Client. So I had this eight year old Dell Vostro laptop that I just resurrected and upgraded it to Windows 10 from 7. I wondered if I was to run some of the addons listed here would it help in reducing the work load on my main PC? So I thought I would post my question to those that probably have answers. If you can give some advice I would appreciate it.

I note that some of the large bridge models in TrueEarth GB are a bit more basic than I would like. Examples of this include.... Tay Road Bridge - missing the three long support pillars at the point where ships pass under the bridge. Tay Rail Bridge - missing the long central section with the girder spans. Tavy Rail Bridge (near Plymouth) - very basic wireframe which (sorry) looks rubbish when compared to the eight span steel girder (four red and four white) and multiple brick arch real world bridge. Runcorn Rail Bridge - same as the Tavy bridge; very basic wireframe. Thankfully, I have a much better version included in the Digital Design Liverpool…

Hi. my idea is to leave the fsx where I fly PMDG 737 and 747 V2, and go to P3D that also has those planes, but improved. Besides, basic scenarios, to make it look pretty, which I need, or rather, textures, I don't know what to call it. I would also like to ask, to the same Pc , is the best performance of P3D compared to Fsx noticeable? My current pc (proccesor 4790k oc 4.7 gz, 970 gtx 4gb oc, 16 g Ram ... would move the P3D better? With so many screens? I have 3 outputs for 3 tv main view, and forth one matrox (3 screens for instruments). Hi I know there is a discussion about this somewhere, but I'm just not sure. Someone advised me not to use the p3d autopilot, and gave a recommendation. I used that recommendation and had problems, but want to try it again. Does anyone know what that software could be? I can see it could be be FS2Crew, but I'm sure that's a lot more complex than the initial one I tried). Gaz

Hi i have installed P3dV4 updates recently and installed all my other scenerys from ORBX and UK2000 etc. However when i loaded in with vegatation on my screen was full of trees and grass randomly everywhere. Even when i moved views it would bug out and show trees and bushes and grass everyhwere in the camera view. I turned off the vegatation and it stopped but now it looks like a flat ladn with just buildings! I have reinstalled everything!!! and that didnt work either ad turned off some other addons and still nothing 😞 Can someone help as the sim looks naked without the vegataion:(

Hello everyone. First off, I hope everyone is doing ok. I have a new issue I’ve encountered. I just started getting very bad shimmering on buildings and in mountains. No change in settings. I did add Rex Sky Force and Environment, maybe I’ll try uninstalling(no clue if that could be the culprit). But, anyways, the shimmering is only visible when I’m in the cockpit. I go to the outside view and there is literally zero shimmering anywhere. This goes for my PMDG aircraft as well as the stock aircraft. I have a lot of addon’s but nothing I’ve added recently. I’m running FXAA. 8xMSAA. I have a 2080ti. 32gb Ram. 1/2 TB of free memory. Any idea of what could be causing this? Any…

Just happened upon this perusing a different topic on YouTube. On my system it worked amazingly well!!! All of the microstutters I had on taxi and in the view changes are gone - CPU 0 is no longer pegged, but load is balanced across all cores. Amazing!

I have a slight problem in that my cockpit keeps an alarm going on when it thinks I am going too slow on landing. The speed it has an issue with is 138kts (too fast if you ask me), otherwise, the cockpit gets an alarm, even when I'm just seconds from landing. It is regarding the Aerosoft A320. I have seen plenty of TV programs to try and teach me how fast I should be landing, and they all tend to say slower than 138kts! One thing on my mind is maybe I have too much fuel left in the tank, and therefore the aircraft needs a higher speed to land safely. Hi I brought yesterday Mumbai Airport VABB from Stinns Pacific. Because the GSX Profil was really bad, I startet to edit the GSX 2 Profile with new Jetway Positions etc. Then I thought I could edit some Parking positions and Taxi lines??? I must say I am completely new in this topic! But I installed Airport Design Editor and P3D SDK. I opened the VABB_ADEP4_ADE.bgl file in Airport Design Editor and I could see the schematic Airport layout. I could change the Parking Position, so that a AI plane would stand on another place, but I could not found out how I could change the "graphic" yellow taxi line etc. Is there an easy way …

Like many I will be spending a lot of time at home for the next several weeks and I saw Carenado is having a sale. Each are only $11.99, a true bargain. They both look great (I luv eye candy). Truly not so much into systems but would like to do a lot of hand flying with one and just relax zipping around the southwest, USA. Hi all: Windows 10 is threatening me with the installation of the update KB4551762. I read somewhere that this update has brought several problems to some computers out there (high CPU usage, slowness). Does anyone have any experience with this update about any unwanted influence on the current install of P3Dv4.5?. Windows 10 Home here. Cheers, Ed
