Hi, Is anyone using this scenery. I can't find which layer to move the scenery to so it plays nicely with my other addons. The files are merged into megascenery earth Italy as instructed. Take for example LIEO by ORBX. If I am here and I move it to a low layer I get no autogen. If I move it to the top I get autogen mixed in with the airport. Can anyone help Graham

Curious to hear from those that own this aircraft on what their impressions are. Thoughts?

This has happened a few times now...I keep getting these weird texture issues. I say texture because the terrain isn't affected causing me to lose control of the aircraft. The only fix for me is to run the configurator that came with the scenery and also just for the heck of it, run FTX Vector config tool. I fly into GCLP quite a bit. After the 2nd time without an issue, this pops up again. Any ideas to keep it running normal?

Hi all - This one is stumping me - but upon Windows 10 startup (from cold boot or warm restart), & after POST, P3D starts up - uninvited, unwanted 😞. It does not appear in the list of 'startup' programs in the task manager 'startup' tab. But something is calling Prepar3d.exe unexpectedly. How do I determine what program or routine is calling prepar3d.exe and change it ? Is there a registry entry I can edit to stop this from happening ? Anyone else experienced this ? thanks in advance !

Can someone let me know how to remove an axis profile that I created for an aircraft and apply a new one? I have a livery with an axis profile assigned that I want to change to a different profile. However, the part where i would add a profile is greyed out. Thanks!

Hi. I have a slight problem with my aircraft. When I leave the mouse still, the view of the aircraft changes to random outside views. Does anyone know how to turn that off so that the view stays the way I left it? Thanks

I've always used a couple of different apps and there must be something out there now that will let me put CPU per core load, and GPU load on screen in a discreet location. I really only what this functionality. Any suggestions?

The first patch for ENVSOUND has been released and available to previous owners at SimMarket. It adds the airport ambiance sounds. Anyone has already installed the patch?. I did, but I don't notice any new particular ambiance sounds at the airports. Posted the issue at the TOGA forums already. Cheers, Ed

HI, I'm really confused as there are two places for Add-on.cfg files, have no idea why P3DV4 has two locations for the files, and each of them contains different add-on sceneries. Can anyone explain how this works, and if it possible to mixed them together manually. Every time i launch Skyforce, it tells me to download the new version. I click on the new version link and it takes me to the rex installer to download. After I download, I run the installer and it has me add/remove features, remove, or repair. When i run the installer, all it seems to do is update the auto installer, and doesn't get me to the latest version. Is there an issue with this? After closing rex and opening, every time it tells me i am still on the previous version and that i need to update. Thoughts?

Hey all? I am facing a tough decision between the new MK studios BIKF or the Latin VFR KFLL. They both look amazing but I only have the funds for one. They both have their pros and cons to me, BIKF is in the middle of nowhere and I usually fly USA and around. Plus the only IRL aircraft I could fly is the CS 757 and I do not want to limit my flying to just one aircraft; along with all that I also enjoy shorter routes. The issue with KFLL is that I own Latin VFR KMIA and I fear since they are so close together I am wasting my money. I love the snowy challenge of BIKF but love the tropical approach of KFLL. I tried to change scenery.cfg and when I next loaded up, I got: SCENERY.CFG file error. Could not find scenery Area.053's local scenery directory: Scenery\0602\SCENERY. Would you like to unload this area? Unlike the rest, this error comes up for every scenery area in P3D. I've tried deleting it but it still does nothing. Thanks for your help

OK....I admit it! I've been simming for decades. I love P3d and I fly every single day. However, I still do not use FMS systems. I am embarrassed about that, and I really want to learn to use them, because I cannot use many planes that I'd like to use (PMDG, etc.). I cannot find the correct tutorial that makes me want to learn. I've brought this up on this forum in the past, but, alas, I still have not solved my personal problem. BTW, I am highly educated, with 2 Master's degrees, and I'm not adverse to learning. I would love to find the best tutorial that would really teach me to do a flight successfully. I have a problem ... maybe two ... and that is that every time I open P3D v4.5 it automatically opens in a separate window in Windows Explorer, and precisely because of the folder that contains the simulator.And also very often (second part of the problem) P3D doesn't load or quits during the program's loading process.Does anyone else have this problem and / or know how to solve it ???Thank you very much and greetingsJ J Gómez Prieto142928

I recently made some changes to my PC (windows update, deleted a bunch of files i didn't need) and when I launch Chase Plane, the only clickable areas are presets (all of my previous presets are not there) and preferences. Camera, Aircraft, Replay and Community are grayed out. When I launch the sim, it recognizes CP in the views tab, but I can't really do anything with Chase Plane. Do you know what could have caused this or what I can do to fix it? I also had to load it as it didn't start automatically like it used to when starting P3D. Thanks

Everything is going well with the latest P3D version, but there is one thing I'm not sure how to solve, and that is getting some sound out of AI aircraft. There I am at an airport full of aircraft taking off,landing, and taxiing and everything is absolutely silent, except for my own aircraft. Any suggestions/solutions much appreciated.

I am considering moving from the flight 1 GTN 750/650 to the RXP 750/650. I want to make the decision while the RXP sale is on until March 31. I would appreciate input from users who have used both versions. My main area of concerns are: 1.Importing user defined waypoints, 2. Ease of installing in aircraft equipped with the Fight 1 GTN. 3. Does changing GTN affect Bert's mod for the Carenado aircraft: particulary the PC-12 and Phenom 300. 4. Does the RXP GTN suffer from the same lock up issue that the Flight 1 GTN does when flying helicopters? What does the RXP GTNs do better? Your input is appreciated. Greg

Hello, I am using P3Dv4.5 with Thrustmaster MFD controllers. I use it to set my cockpit views with EZDOK and my 2D panel through P3D. I am able to assign any panel until the window number is < 9. The FMS of one of my aircraft is set as Window_13. I cannot find a way to assign this panel to a key of my controller... any idea? thanks in advance Bruno

Hello, I have really bad fps in PMDG or qwsim but also in default aircraft.I have followed this guide: https://community.vatsim.uk/topic/34553-p3d-v4-settings-gtx-1070-solved/ But The max I get in the cockpit when on the ground is 15-20fps. also on the outside i have max 30 fps on the ground.I have orbx vector, orbx global and trueearth netherlands. I see that when I have p3d running my cpu is very high(80%) and my gpu relativly low(20%) the gpu is selected in P3d v4.5

I found that my the background vehicle such as bus, private in the tg2 vhhh will be pixelated. How can I fix it ? I want to attach the photo but I don't know how.....
