I have my Joystick a VKB Sim Gladiator MK II setup with P3D v4.5 using the Full Verison of FSUIPC. It works great with my other planes the A2A 182T, Carenado Phenom 300, RealAir Sim Duke Turbine V2, and Carenado Pilatus PC-12. For the autopilot I have one button setup to switch the CDI from GPS to VLOC, another to select NAV Mod, and a couple of more to select HDG and Approach Mod for example. And on all the planes listed above (which ALL use the Flight1 GTN 750) the settings all work perfectly. But using the Vertx DA62 it does not recognize any of the buttons I have setup for the Autopilot...With the exception of One which is the button that turns on and off the AP itsel…

Whilst many users wait for a fix to be issued in relation to low FPS in V4.5 do they return to using V4.4. I had changed to V4.5 mainly to take advantage of the new night lighting, especially when used with words not allowed software but not possible at the moment Clive Alexander

I was just curious and looked in windows 10 applications list. I noticed my P3D client/content/scenery have a different version than the Prepar3DV4 Academic. Hi, This is for Dynamic Sky textures only. All weather and sky structures/textures are handled by AS + SF. Any other options within Envtex is not the purpose of this guild. First open ENVTEX and click on the Second option down on the left. Turn everything off apart from Sky. You can see all the setting for folder etc, your's will be different from mine but you will see what its should look like! When this is all set up click on the Green down arrow (Install) to Install. I was curious whether there are any folders under P3d that can be moved to another drive....and still WORK? My P3d folder (C), a SSD, is about 300Gb and I would like to move any sizeable folders from my C drive to my X drive. My X drive is not a SSD drive but it has lots of room on it. However, I don't want it to affect the sim in any way. I think I heard that you can move the ADDONS folder to another drive and P3d will still use it with no problem. Is that true and are there any others? Thanks. Stan

How do I quickly uninstall everything including add-ons? I have add-ons from Flight1, Just Flight, Flysimware, Milviz, Carenado, PCAviator, Hifi (Active Sky), Rex, Reality-XP GTN & GNS, Orbx (50+ sceneries), etc. Everything is installed in a non-system drive (F:) using Windows 10 Pro. I'm tempted to just reformat the disk but I'm concerned about add-on licenses (I learned a bad lesson uninstalling DCS' simulators eg. their A10-C simulator, without first de-activating their Starforce based license). Is there a publisher that I should be extra careful with so as to avoid re-installation issues later on? Thank you.

I had to reload windows (unfortunately I lost 7) when I was attacked and Malware ruined my FS drive. I was able to save all my FS folders and a few large add-ons (UT, GEX) were stored on other drives. My scenery add-ons (airports and large areas) are on a separate drive. I re-installed V4.5 ( and ported the known working scenery folder) and then added in the traffic using the non- XML method which worked before - there was no traffic. I did the XML method (and turned off my Scenery config for the other method) and I now had traffic, although planes were scattered all over the place in my base airport, Sestri. Hello flight simmers, I have the following ORBX products. ORBX Global and Vectors. I fly all over so I purchased open LC NA, SA and Europe as well. For some reason, I don't know why but the objects on the ground look "flat" in my sim and not as good as the screenshots in the ORBX website. Is there anything I am missing out on? This is a fresh install of P3D with ORBX products only and Rex Sky Force. Hey all, can anybody help me out with this strange problem. On some streets there are lights and on some, there are no lights and I have no idea why: I have double checked it, this is LZSH City without any other addons. Its the same in other cities too. Veg. Densitiy is on Very High and I also tried it with this entry in the cfg "AUTOGEN_TREE_MIN_DISTANCE_TO_LOD" but nothing helps to show more street lights. BR

Rain effect (P3dv4.5 ht2) on the ground. I noticed strange thing in this model and Id like to confirms this on the others owner of ATSim An-2. In the air is ok but when the plane is on the ground (cold and dark situation) and the rain effect is present in virtual cockpit (rainy day) each rain drop = less fps. From 80 to 12 fps afer 5-8 minutes. Something is wrong here (the ice effect is ok). Here is this issue (drop from for example 60 FPS to... less than 10 in short time): something like clogging up

Why doesn't this app work on iphones in addition to the ipad? I have both, but it would be nice to have the app be able to work on my iphone xs? I get that the screen is small, but I see some use for it.

So far we have been unable to identify any AI Helicopter with a fully working FDE for this new AI System.

Has someone else tried to get ReShade 3.0.7 working in P3D V4? For me it crashes as soon as it reaches the scenario setup screen. In the setup menu I select Direct3D 10+, I assume that's correct? I cannot live without it, colors and everything looks so boring and dull without it, hopefully we get it to work somehow. Will try ReShade 2.0 now, maybe this one works.

Hi, I'm recently started to get 5 second lockups around 5 and 10 thousand feet. I've tried a fresh .cfg file. Turned off ext weather program and even stripped back my scenery to bare bones in an attempt to find the culprit. Doesn't happen elsewhere so what could it be. Only thing I can't disable is sode. For some reason it won't let me. I have a hardware cockpit so no fancy addin aircraft used. I only use it for scenery. I'm really at my wit's end trying to find what's going on. Can anyone think of where to look next. I have a good system with no other problems recently. Graham P3d4.5

I have problems with "cockpit tooltips" in P3D. I mostly use A2A aircraft. On some instruments it works on some others it does not. It doesn't work on thermometers and magnetic compasss. If I place the mouse pointer on the magnetic compass P3D in windowed mode and switch to full screen alt + enter then the information is displayed. The same goes for the reverse. I use Chaseplane. Hi to all. after 1 year of fight against Blurry (try many type of settings and tweaks usually know for P3D) in P3Dv4.5 (until used v4.4 all work fine) I decide to try a total cleaning of system. Unistalled P3D and all addons with a cleaning of registry and tried a new fresh install. But with vanilla P3D also have Blurry at (for example) 10.000ft using zoom on ground produce alway blurries, expecially on mountains. I think thant maybe somethig else generate problem...driver? settings? May someone have any ideas of what I can try on vanilla installation to try to find the issue? Does anyone here use the PrealSoft Dublin package in P3D v4? I would like to know how far the scenery extends (does it cover the Howth peninsula?), and also if it is compatible with MK Studios Dublin, and also PlayHorizon VFR Photographic Scenery Volume 9 Ireland East.

I have uncommented the relevant lines in the aircraft.cfg files of my AI FAIB Airbus planes, and they are all displaying the logo and cabin lights in P3D v4........except the A320 PW NEO. I have checked the aircraft.cfg file for this plane, and the same lines have been uncommented, but I have just seen one of those planes taxiing out to the runway at Dublin, and the logo and cabin lights were OFF. Any ideas?
