Hello everybody I recently noticed something bad in my sim. On some Airports (for example Orbx LDDU, FlyTampa EHAM), all Simobjects (My planes but also for example GSX vehicles) appear to be completely dark when i set the time to night (See the Pictures). The textures are there but they just don't receive any lightning from the floodlight on the airport. Also, No light comes to the inside of the cockpit. It only doesn't work on some airports (For example no problems in Aerosoft LSZH). Has anyone an idea what the problem could be and how i could solve it ? Hi! My first post! It's really nice to be here! I know you guys do not really like it, but I got use to the deafult Prepar3D ATC. It just seems to work fine for what I need for the moment. It's been long months flying to lot of places, including Munich to Innsbruck, etc. and everything looks pretty synced between PMDG 737800NGX FMC approach options and ATC approach and runway options. These days I wanted to try Geneva LSGG to Sion LSGS but found a major problem: ATC doesn't give me the RNW25 option. I can only choose RNW07. I have ORBX installed and MegaSceneryEarth Switzerland installed. With or without MegaScenery it's the same. I also tried the LSGS Airp…

Right so I'm using AIG for my AI (amazing just by the way!), but for some reason my AI slider in P3D doesn't seem to be working. If its set to 1% I have the same amount of AI as if it's set to 100%. I have a feeling this has seomthing to do with the FSUIPC AI traffic settings however, I don't think I'v messed with them and i don't want to try. thanks!

I'm wanting to simulate some JSX flights in an EMB 135 but the only one out there is the one from Feelthere and it doesn't look great. What are my alternatives? Majestic Dash 8-400? (I'd rather have a jet) or the CRJ's? Anything else? It needs to fly well on an old computer. Thanks

Hi, please someone could help me please. In every airport I choose the scenery is messed up. LYBE, LIEO, LDDU and more, the aircraft is on the air, runways look sloped Everything mess. i did run the airport elevation correction but still the same problem. I tried many non Orbx airports but the same problem. Anything I can solve this please?. Georgios

Hi all, I need some enlightenment over the use of memory for P3D. I am running the latest version of P3Dv4 on my system with Intel 8700k overclocks to 4.8GHz, 16GB memory and GTX1080Ti and the following add on. Orbx base pack Orbx Vector Imagine Simulation WSSS SamScene WSSS While approaching WSSS with Aerosoft A330, I realize that P3D is utilizing 8GB out of my 16GB installed memory. I have checked and verified that Windows 10 is detecting my 16GB memory correctly. Windows 10 is managing my Pagefile automatically. After several flights I have noticed that every time GSX L2 fuel truck stops near the tip of a wing (not under the wing) and I see no animations at all. It's all the same for either stand-alone fuel truck or truck for underground equipment. I have the latest GSX L2 profile and so far there is no answer from FSDT. WOuld appreciate your help

Hi all, Have been recently looking to get me P3Dv4 set up properly sorted, and am not entirely educated/skilled on all the modification side of things when it comes to creating panels and pop outs and all those things. I have just added the RXP GTN650 add on and a RealSimGear unit to use it, and am keen on hopefully a G500 display if/when someone comes out with it, however in the mean time i am looking to see if anyone is able to assist or point in the right direction of creating a instrument view window that has the standard flight instruments in say a G500 looking PFD set up, or similar Boeing style PFD that still interacts with the bugs/hsi/cdi side of…

For some unknown reason P3DV4.52 has started hanging up at the loading vehicle screen when I try to select a vehicle other than the default F-22. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client. Any thoughts? Greg

Don't know why, but my last 3.5 hour flight was not logged by P3D. Any idea why it would not log flight time? There is no record what so ever. I also use LogEdit, and FS Logbook Editor. Seems to be no way of recovering the time since it wasn't recorded in the first place. Anyone ever experience this? Thanks Rodger

Hi All, I'm posting here instead of the PMDG forums because I don't have an account over there and am hoping to avoid creating yet another one. I've just purchased the NGXu and installed into P3D V4.5. No issues with that process (although I'm not sure if I should have removed the NGX first). Two things I now observe is that 1. I now have two separate PMDG OPS Centres. The first (original version) and the newer version 2. I would have expected that the newer version overwrote the original version but that didn't happen and indeed they've installed into two different folders (I didn't change the location of the original version from it's default settings). …

Well, the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo is now six months out...time to get ready to do some virtual flying there. I have the Technobrain RJTT (Tokyo Haneda Intl) scenery, which is OK...maybe a 6 out of 10 when buffed up with SODE jetways via GSX2. I'm able to hold 30 fps using that in the notoriously heavy-hitting Tokyo area. So now I'm wondering if adding the Samscene city scenery will push it past the brink and clobber my frame rates going in/out of Tokyo. Has anyone here already tried the combo? Thanks

I have Milviz DHC2 Beaver amphibian but I'm done with it. I just can't get it to fly well. It pops off the ground on takeoff with a lot of "up" and I run out of down trim. Carenado C185 flies much better and I can use that if I need to but I'm wondering if there is a third option and no I'm not interested in the twotter either, to big. There are so many wonderful seaplane bases/cabins thanks to ORBX and RTMM in Alaska et al that I feel I'm missing out, but I've got to have something good to fly. If nothing else I can make the old Carenado's C185 amphib work. I'm just wondering if I have any other options.

I have a robust pc running 4.1 (4ghz x 6, 64gb RAM, 1080ti, all-ssd) and continue to have terrible performance issues at EGLL (UK2k & FTX). Autogen is set to middle setting, FXAA is off, 4x or 8x AA and other settings don't seem to affect the issue, that being I see fps in the single digits that only occasionally climb into the teens. Panning around the aircraft (QW788/9 or PMDG777) only becomes smooth if looking down at a steep angle, so it's definitely the scenery & regional/city scenery. The fps count isn't misleading either, as the sim is quite literally a slideshow in spot or cockpit views. I've done all the usual checking for extra sceneries, afcads, e…

Can't believe the number of major developers that have basically stopped everything waiting for a new sim. Given my investment in P3D i have absolutely no intention of abandoning my high quality add ons to pay for a new sim and the add ons all over again or at best - wait for ages for compatibility to occur. P3D4.X offers a stable platform that is just fine for me and i guess many others....I simply can't believe they all just stopped dead after MS abandoned simmers before and are now now making promises they are unlikely to be able to keep. Hello, I'm not able to catch the LOC/GS at EHRD with the Qualitywings 787 and the FSLabs A319. With the PMDG 737 NGX its working though. I have tried it with the standard P3D v4.3 scenery and the aerosoft Rotterdam X scenery. The ILS frequency that I'm using for runway 24 is 110.90 I have not updated the airac cycle on any of the planes since I bought them. But I would suppose that the airac cycle on the 787 and the A319 are newer. Nevertheless they are not able to autoland. Does someone have an idea? Thanks! Best regards Andreas

Does anybody here still use Ksimsaver for saving flights in P3D? I am having problems with it -- all of a sudden I am getting an error message on the program's startup saying "Failed to check for latest version" and I need to close the error message window before continuing on. I checked my firewall and ksimsaver.exe has permissions for both incoming and outgoing traffic. I tried emailing the author but get an server error on his end. Perhaps the program is no longer functional? Anybody else having problems? Tried downloading it again and reinstalled and still get the error. Many thanks!

Hi, Looking for some tips, I'm more a GA pilot, currently flying all over Australia step by step, but now I'm looking for a bigger airplane mainly A320 to cross country and start with NZ Would you have any good tips on which one should I buy ? As I won't fly it very often I'd like it to be not too expensive if possible :) Second tips, I have an ipad and I'd like to put the FMC on it, is this possible we p3d v4.5 ? Thank you in advance
