Hello, In the window hardware's properties and in FSLabs/Button Assignment axis test, the signal is very stable with no jiggling. However, the aircraft in the sim behaves very strange. I have a fresh new P3D V5.2 and FSlabs newest versions.

I am a bit of a flying boat or floatplane enthusiast from the old big ones to little singles on floats. I believe however this is a disconnect between wave motion and wind and how it is displayed in the sim. I had water detail set at Ultra and real weather (wind cloud etc) now being provided by AS on the basis this supposedly gave the best 'water' look (in wind rolling waves foam crests etc) and that it does until you go fly something like a flying boat or floats. At Ultra water settings the waves are way to large for the local wind, lets say and in this case the surface wind was a low 6 knots. Hi all, Thanks for those who helped my USB connection issue. I'm now struggling to assign buttons using the Throttle Quadrant, specifically I'm having the following issues: - Assigning start switches to the CRANK / NORM / IGM switch - Assigning ENG fuel switches to the ENG ON/OFF switches - Getting the throttle axis to be at idle when thrust levers are closed (at the moment they're at about 30% when closed) Thanks Ben

Hi, When connecting the TCA Airbus Joystick and Throttle quadrant, the PC automatically shuts down and when I try and restart with the devices connected, I get a "USB Device Over Current" error message and the PC shuts down. All other USB devices work fine. Any ideas? Thanks, Ben

What volumetric cloud settings are you using in ASP3D UI and why? Volumetric clouds control by Active Sky Enable detailed EA clouds by Active Sky Why does active sky need to control these values? What gives you better results? Thanks!

I just picked up MK Studios Tenerife North and South during the Orbx most recent sale. The airports are well done, but I am having an issue where there are static aircraft that are overlapping with my AI traffic aircraft at some gates. I have searched for quite some time and have not found a solution. Does anyone happen to know how to deactivate the static traffic for these airports? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Pete

Regrettably I’m ceasing use of MSI Afterburner and RTSS. Whilst RTSS caused a DXGI crash in P3Dv5.1 when switching vehicles with the display showing I could work around that when required. But with v5.2HF1 it causes P3D to crash with any access to the menu. I can’t live with that I’m afraid. I’m now using Resource Monitor customised for my needs. It doesn’t include any GPU info sadly. Is this my best alternative or do others exist which don’t cause issues with P3D?

I ran the Active Sky update for HF1 but I keep getting a message saying the connector isn’t compatible with the version of P3D. Anybody else run into this problem?

I am trying to add an airport mod to my P3d v4 setup. I normally use Lorby to add simple sceneries that have just a scenery and texture subfolders. Works fine with whatever I had in FSX. However, this one has an ADX file that was intended to go in World Scenery in FSX. Can I just drop that ADX in copy paste in P3d v4 and it will use it? Thanks

I’ve been waiting over fifteen minutes now for P3Dv5.2 to start. Seems worse after last update. Getting ridiculous. I wonder if unchecking sceneries in the scenery library and only check the ones I plan on using like we did in old fsx days would help this issue. Took almost twenty minutes for the sim to start .

Hey guys! Been away from simming for a while. Back from several rounds of chemo and want to dip my toes back into P3D. I have v5 and global+vector and Thai creation VABB. I can't get it to work correctly! The best I can do is have the runways appear. However the default terminals still show through! I've gone through all the forum posts from 2014-2018 they were for fsx and v4 however. Is there anyone who has got VABB working? Thank you Clinton.

Anyone else having the issue with ASP3D 7851 crashing P3D v5.2 hf1 with EA on? Does not crash sim if ASP3D EA is off. I have uninstalled client and ASP3D and reinstalled them again fresh but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Darcy

Hello, I was preparing for a flight yesterday and so updated my aerosoft a330 professional by installing the new updater, I then also installed imaginesim Atlanata and when I loaded into the sim I went from my normal 40 fps to around 8. I have tried all aircraft at loads of airports and I keep getting this huge loss in performance. I uninstalled these two addons and I am still getting the problem. I don't really want to reinstall P3D as it will take me days to get back to the same place I am at. My specs are: GTX 1070 8GB, Ryzen 5 1600af, 1TB SSD, 16GB 2800MHZ RAM. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi everybody, i have a doubt. It turns out that the internal hard drive where I had the P3D and all the accessories stopped being recognized by the PC. but months ago that same disk was completely erased by itself, so I consider that hard disk for dead. then I could install P3D on the external hard drive with all the addos etc. I hope someone helps me with this question and thanks in advance.

Hi, I hopefully have a quick question ... Maybe I am wrong and my memory fails me, but was it previously possible to display AI labels for aircraft traffic on the ground in P3D? I have AI labels enabled in P3Dv5.1 HF1 and I do see the relevant text associated with each aircraft providing its in the air but when on the ground those text labels for AI aircraft are no longer displayed. Is there anything that controls those labels being displayed in P3D (air vs ground) and if so where? Note: I am running AIG OCI. Maybe there's an option there that I have overlooked? Thx.

this is odd. I can bring up the ATC window by using the "tilde"key on the far upper left side of my keyboard. However, once with the window is open, I cannot make any selections from a numbered list...I have to click one of the numbered lines in the atc box with my mouse. Do any of you have some information to help me solve this one? Thanks. Sherm

Hello guys, wondering if I could rack a few of your brains with this one. Bit of background first, I am a member of the RAF air cadets in the UK, and we have a custom built flight simulator in the replica of a grob tutor aircraft. Currently, behind the sim, we have an ‘instructor station’ set up, running FS-FlightControl which is absolutely fantastic for our needs. We utilise the moving map feature if this software to double up as an Air Traffic Control radar scope. So the general idea is, we have two people in the sim, one experienced who will be instructing, and a cadet learning. We have a third person operating the instructor station who can change …

Hey there, does anybody else see that the rain windshield effects are not working anymore? I am not able to get them to work :( BR Bernd

So I have an issue that just started happening recently where every time I go to do a flight I have to press CTRL+SHIFT+U before I can turn the aircraft especially while on the ground which I think enables nose wheel steering but not positive. How I can enable this permanently again, so I don't have to press the keys. I use a Logitech joystick and this issues just popped up within the last couple of months. Thanks
