Hi, I would appreciate your thoughts as to what is the best software for capturing flights in video on both MSFS 2020 and P3D - both freeware and payware. Video editing can be done in another programme - is just your recommendations for capturing the video. Thanks

Hello, I'm using P3D V5.2 HF1 and I am using both ENVSHADE and ENVTEX. My question is that I want to change the theme from full dynamic in active sky cloud art, but it doesn't change as the phrase "This they can't be edited". Of course, I remember that it was possible to change the theme of full dynamic one day...Is there a solution? it is related to about Envshade and Envtex?

Does anyone else have this issue that I can only describe as "squiggly lines" being formed in a straight pattern across water? Video - https://streamable.com/y92vzq Doesn't seem to matter if I use medium/high/ultra water reflections.

So I'm running P3Dv5.2, with active sky and Rex Skyforce. For some reason my PMDG has become a brick! I check the approach speed is right, I flare, use the right level of flaps etc but I just drops like a brick! I remember it always used to be quite floaty. Did the ground effect stop working or something? Really not sure what is up with it. I have the latest version of it installed as well! I've watched YouTube videos of others to see what's going on and they are landing fine I can't see that I am doing anything different. Really at a loss as to what is amiss, maybe an Active Sky setting? But I've not changed anything in that for ages!

Hi, can someone explain me how to remove the "0" parameter within the "control send when button pressed".Field If I delete them, and reopen FSUIPC, is back again. Hello everyone, I am back with P3D V4 because MSFS is a mess. Of course I want to have my AIGM-OCI working with STB (super traffic board) but things have changed since I left. It looks like AIGM-OCI does not load the flight plans in the world scenery folder or the sim objects in the sim objects folder anymore. It also looks like STB can only read the files from those P3D folders and not where AIGM-OCI places them so how can I get them to work together? I'm not sure if the problem is AIGM-OCI or STB. Both are must haves for me so I am disappointed that right now they don't play nicely. Thank you

Hey guys! I decided to try out the default P3Dv5 atc, again. I'm flying a Southwest aircraft, and when landing into KLAS (FlyTampa), the ATC instructed me to park at gate A15. At KLAS, Southwest occupies terminals B and C. How do I make the default ATC recognize I'm in a Southwest aircraft such that it will give me a gate at the appropriate terminal? Thank you

Hi! I have recently started playing some p3d after a long break. I installed all my addon aircraft and tweaked my sim to make it look good. Then after doing some flights to remember how all the systems worked i decided it was time for vatsim, but i didnt have any ai models. Looking around on youtube i found that FLAI was a good place to get the models but then when i visited the site it said that they were shutting down. So i was wondering if anyone knows aany good alternatives for P3D V4.5 :)

Hi, after many years simming I thought I could keep up but at 82 I realize that I'm falling behind. Since the last update of v5 I cannot get my Texture Resolution to save ,it always goes back to 512. I'm happy with 1024 . My sliders are set midway and EA off, HD off,( my needs are modest) Frame rate 30. Vram never exceeds 2.5.out of 8. I've deleted previous profiles and saved the new one but it will not save the texture resolution. What am I missing ? Nvidea RTX2070 super Intel i9 9700k 3,5 SSD 1 Tb

So after the shemozzle of the latest MSFS update I uninstalled it but when I've wanted to jump back onto P3D I have weird issues with SODE jetways disappeared, scenery issues, simconnect isn't working, keybinds have disappeared and can't pan around cockpit with my hatswitch again on my joystick. The only thing I've done before loading up P3D again is update GSX via FSDT control panel, update YBBN ORBX, install new patches for AS and ASCA and purchase and install WF VHHH and Flightbeam NZAA. Hello, When I start my flight and select gate, my aircraft (Project Airbus A320) is few meters too far from supposed position. This causes that I cannot activate sode jetway. Almost all payware airports and gate positions have this problem. I cannot imagine that all those have false afcad. What parameter is wrong here? Is it located in aircraft.cfg? Also I cannot hear touchdown sound. Is my contact point settings wrong. A floating problem?

Just seeing if any of you have had this problem. Since moving to 5.2 HF1, at night the white runway lights seem to be excessively dim. Is there a setting somewhere I am missing?

I am using the PMDG 737 NGXu. When I load the aircraft in my sim, at the gate (parked), when the message says, initializing all systems, at 17 seconds, the landing gear starts to extend, and the aircraft starts to pitch up, a tailstrike occurs, and starts to bounce and move forward violently, before coming to rest after 10 seconds. (It does these things, all by itself) This is a very annoying problem.Srinjay DasB737NG Lover❤

Hello, I recently did a full reinstall of my simulator, and have already installed some of my aircraft (PMDG 737NGXu, PMDG B777, FSLabs A319-A320-A321). In airports with both PMDG aircraft I easily get 40+ FPS and around 3.6GB of VRAM On the other hand, the exact same airport and settings, I only get 15-20 FPS and 4.5GB of VRAM. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I moved from v4.5 to v5.2HF1 & have started to look for updates of the various aircraft I flew in v4.5. Surprised to find Carenado/Alabeo not yet updated to v5 & there does not appear to be a stampede among other aircraft manufacturers to go v5. Is there any particular reason for this? T45

Hey guys just updated to the latest ASCA with EA on noticing my clouds disappearing and then reappearing, and also long pauses. anyone else experiencing this? Thanks mike

Just confirming, Sky Force is not compatible with Enhanced Atmospherics in v5, correct? It's either one or the other?
