I've discovered a problem after changing the Registry to allow the Vertx DA62 Config App to interact with the aircraft in P3Dv5. With an entry for P3Dv4 existing Ai Lights Reborn will generate a .NET error when launched as it expects to find a fully installed version of P3Dv4. If you select 'Continue' the drop-down from which you can select which sim to interact with is empty. As AILR is an integral part of AIG Traffic Controller the same error is generated when that addon is enabled for P3Dv5. I installed the KA 350i today and was not having any issues until I restarted my PC. The screen outside out the flight deck is now all black. I am using P3RD v5.2. My GPU is an Nvidia 2070 Super. All other aircraft is loading correctly (Q400 and A2A Cessna). Before I manipulate / delete / restore any PR3D cfg file, or delete any Shaders cache and cause more issues, I want to know if there's any step I need to follow. Can someone provide any assistance? I know there are a couple posts out there, but doesn't seem like anyone has found a solution.... I did 2 long haul flights (over 7 hours) this weekend with specifically the PMDG 737ngxu. After a certain amount of time, the autopilot disengages the aircraft starts a gradual bank and the it seems like the PFD and MFD move super super slow. I am able to save the flight, restart P3d, and then reload it for the remainder and it is fine. The posts i've read suspect many things....PMDG, FSUIPC...but it seems like everyone has settled on a simconnect issue on where it drops the connection after a certain amount of time. Hi. Anybody know much about ChasePlane? My problem is it will no longer start. it will no longer start or update through Orbx central? I can get it to start by asking Orbx Central to verify files it will start and say an update is required it is currently 1.2.52S It tries to update to 1.2.54S. However the update reverts each time to 1.2.52S It will then fail to start. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but it does not work. I wouldn't normally post this here - it would go on the Aerosoft site, but their site for asking for help seems to be down at the moment. I'm having trouble with this aircraft - it's pretty simple. I can't get the HDG to work on the auto-pilot. It's turned on, it reached the correct altitude and speed, but it won't hang on the heading when I cross the path. I am struggling to find a way that I may record my own flight in something like to LM fictional TTA military trainer and then replay that recording while I fly alongside the recording another spawn of the same aircraft type. I am looking to use this for some formation practice in VR but many internet searches and queries have left me unsure. I am aware of some of the flight recording add-ons out there in this and other platforms but their visual performance while flying alongside seems to have some questions yet to be answered.

Hello, I have some FPS issues in P3Dv3.4. My PC isn't the best but my performance drops from awesome 17 FPS with clear skies to average 10 in thunderstorm. I am using REX skyforce which I installed immediately after getting P3D so I'm not sure if it hits fps more than default clouds. REX settings are the lowest - for best performance. I found out by extensive testing that cirrus clouds don't hit FPS, and the issue is mainly with cumulonimbus clouds (and other storm clouds) I tried to reduce the file size of the textures with online .bmp compressor which didn't help, also tried reducing resolution from 512x512 to 128x128, no difference. Hi, this issue for me goes on and on, I've tried at the parent forums with no luck so here it is, the path to my ASCA folder in EnvDir I believe is correct, C:\Program Files(x86)\HiFi\ASCA, sky textures are ticked only in ASCA, Use Envtex Sky colours only is selected in EnvDir, all the Envtex sky colours are in the ASCA Wx screen but none of them have any box's ticked on the Wx screen and will never choose an Envtex sky colour only the default ASCA colours, everything is updated and correct as far as I can see, I did see a post a while back with this problem and followed it and did get it to work but not now, I'm pretty sure it was a reinstall of ASCA which I did but some…

Hi guys, Having enormous trouble setting up my triple screen setup using viewgroups..add frustum etc.. I messed up my original viewgroups.xml file. Deleting it and restarting p3dv5 doesn't work. It does not create itself. I have no idea how to restore the original settings. I'm confused because I didn't see any image on my side monitors after creating frustum views. Preview didn't do anything for me. I couple of days ago I did see the side monitors working correctly do something had happened. I followed the almost aviation 48 minute youtube video which was excellent but like I mentioned I messed up. Any thoughts? …

Hi, i use EA (medium) and my sky is always milky, but interesting is that when i switch to cinematic mode (chase plane), sky around is way clearer as seen from cockpit. I have tried to reduce haze with Envdir, switched off auto exposure - no any visible change. My bloom is set to 0.10 My weather is controlled by ASP3D.

As a newcomer to P3D (roughly 6 months), I've really been enjoying the sim. Consequently, I keep purchasing add-ons when there are interesting sales (e.g., PMDG sale, Aerosoft this week). With all the speculation about the imminent abandonment/curtailment of P3D products by developers is anyone expecting very deep software discounts, 50% or more, in the near future?

I installed Taxigate KMCO today for P3dv5 and I thought the installation went well. However it didn't. I get a message every time I open P3d (below) even after numerous uninstalls and reinstalls of this scenery. My P3d is on drive S. Here's the message and it has me stumped. "Scenery cfg file error. Could not find SCENRY AREA.269's LOCAL SCENERY DIRECTORY: S:P3d V5\SIMARKET\TAXI2GATE-KMCO P3dv5\data\LFPG-LAYER UP\SCENERY Would you like to unload this area?" I've even tried to load the scenery using Addon Organizer. I've also tried installing it in my C directory under P3dv5 Addons. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.…

I am getting odd mouse control function behaviour. In FSLabs A320 the wheel function is now permanently attached to seat movement (the seat - not eye position) and the cursor changes to a pointing finger. This results in no controllability in 3D panel buttons/switches. If I move pointer to ancillary programs (not within P3Dv5.1) mouse works correctly. I have tried using a different mouse, but problem persists. Any help much appreciated.

Hi, Could somebody tell me how add scenery in P3D. In FSX we just drop the file in Addon Scenery folder and add it in the setting menu. But in P3D i see any Addon scenery folder. Thanks. Real

I'm putting this into he P3d thread because that's the sim I'm using for this airplane. Anyways, the headline says it all. I'm banned from the forum even though I have never used it for anything other than downloading liveries. Granted I haven't used he forum in about 2.5 yeas but I tried logging in and I'm Banned.
