I just upgraded to a Radeon 6700 XT, and I'm having an issue in my third party planes with flickering vertical lines on the edges of some of the glass cockpit displays. I've already cleared my shaders and the problem persists. Does anyone else have this issue? Hey guys , anyone have an idea of when this will be corrected for the qw 787? as the landing lights and taxi lights look horrific illuminating the taxiway/ runway also the taxi light heading to the terminal lighting up the whole terminal. Who needs dynamic lighting enabled!!! Gees. how much longer do we have to wait?Getting rather fed about it. And of course no answer from qw forums. mike

Hello dear simmers, Wanted to ask you if someone had issues with CG and Balance after a couple of touch and go's with the Maddog X, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but let's say I takeoff with around 10800 lbs of fuel total, CG @15% and after 10 minutes I land with about 8000 lbs of fuel remaining, check it with the load manager and adjust the new CG to around 14% and then move the elevator trim to match the green pointer I can't rotate even when pulling the yoke all the way out after passing rotation speed (also recalculated) and if i get to takeoff and then try to land I max out my trim. Has anybody run into this too? What should I need to do after touching …

I installed Taxigate KMCO today for P3dv5 and I thought the installation went well. However it didn't. I get a message every time I open P3d (below) even after numerous uninstalls and reinstalls of this scenery. My P3d is on drive S. Here's the message and it has me stumped. "Scenery cfg file error. Could not find SCENRY AREA.269's LOCAL SCENERY DIRECTORY: S:P3d V5\SIMARKET\TAXI2GATE-KMCO P3dv5\data\LFPG-LAYER UP\SCENERY Would you like to unload this area?" I've even tried to load the scenery using Addon Organizer. I've also tried installing it in my C directory under P3dv5 Addons. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.…

Hello all, I am using latest P3D v5 version. I have noticed strange issue. I experience huge fps drop while switching from legacy clouds (using REX SkyForce for cloud textures in line with Active Sky as weather engine). EA in P3D on, volumetric clouds on. I have 60 Hz monitor, so I locked frames to 30 FPS. While using this settings I have 30 fps (1 picture) However, when I enable volumetric clouds (on Ultra) with other settings unchanged, suddenly the fps drops from 30 to ~13-15 FPS. Hi all, anybody has an idea on how to trigger the new road lights, earlier? DAY_THRESHOLD= and NIGHT_THRESHOLD=these 2 have no effect on the new 5.2 road lights. Thanks

I've seen lots of people refer to an 'Affinity mask'. I have no idea what it is, but the idea of trying anything to improve performance always gets me interested! So, what is it? How does it work? And how do I use it? (word not allowed's guide!) I'm using 5.2. Thanks

Hello, My orbx scenery was mixing up with my vanialla p3d scenery so i checked scenery.cfg and it looks like im missing a area. How would i go about fixing this?I have tried using the sync simulator option is orbx central. Thank you.

Hey @Ray Proudfoot I saw you post on Orbx re: YBBN Brisbane Tried to respond on the thread , however it kept erroring, perhaps an internet glitch. The airport is not too bad on the inside, one huge long courseway with gates, shops etc. as well as the rotundas. And many a time I've walked those steps both up and down and and also caught flights via the jetway rotundas as well. One time I even had to run from the middle of the main terminal to the far North rotunda to catch a flight (a gate change I didn't notice till I was called up). I think it's a pretty good representation myself, resource heavy though, at least on my 1070ti. Cheers

Since recently, while flying Captain Sims Classic 737, using the P3D ATC, the set frequency always gets changed to 127.800. I have to check the ATC window every minute to set it back to the actual frequency. Never had this before. Is it an automation in this aircraft type or a bug from CS? Is something wrong with P3D5.2? Does somebody experienced the same before? I will fly next flight with another plane to test. Any help meanwhile will be appreaciated. Dan

Hello to the folks who choose to listen. I have been flightsimming since was 8 years old. I’m 32 now. It met my love for aviation and my motivation to be an airline pilot alive all through the years and through me earning all my required ratings and certificates. I even continued to flight sim through my regional pilot career. I started with fs98 and have gone all the way through to the newest msfs only using p3d v2-4.5. I have had such great flights and memories of all these sims. However, these days, I’m struggling. I put p3d to the side when msfs came along and I hadn’t picked it up since. Until SU5 came out for msfs. Yes, great performance was had……

I had forgot how nice this thing is!!LOL All working fine in V5. All the lights come on but they do not light up the ground or runways. I just moved it from Prepar3dV4 add ons to the V5 add ons. Any ideas on what I may have missed?? I don't fly much at night but would like to get it fixed.

Heads up fellow P3D peeps, Cyril E. King International Airport (IATA: STT, ICAO: TIST, FAA LID: STT), was just released on Simmarket. All new with all P3D v5 bells and whistles. Looks pretty good and intend to purchase tomorrow. I know we don't get much P3D scenery releases anymore and places like FSElite rarely cover these releases.

T2G updated their cover photo on FB. Looks to not be too far off from release. And yes, P3D.

Hello Support I combined all the regions into one file following a method I saw on the forum. So all clips are in one place - identified by the first two characters (EU or OC or AF etc) - with this setup you do not have option to select a region which makes sense I am using Pilot2ATC and not the standalone X-ATC Chatter I get the chatter when the sim is fired up but flying in the OC region I get chatter from the likes of EU region Is there some setting that will tell X-ATC Chatter where I am flying that I may have missed in the setup? I usualy deactivate/activate sceneries when modding them from inside the sim in the scenery library. Now since I recently added a few more sceneries, I can no longer see sceneries from scenery.cfg. I only see the greyed out entries of all addons added by the addon.xml method, which can't be modified. Even the default scenery entries are not shown but I think they are loaded, since the sim is behaving like normal. The scenery.cfg file is still in place and all entries are there. I wonder if there's a limit for the amount of sceneries in P3D5, add-on.xml and scenery.cfg together. I am at about 1250 entries. Is there another reason, why these entries are not shown…

I realize this may be an open-ended question, but am trying anyway. How do I make the PMDG and Aerosoft A330 VC's, as well as others, look smoother and more realistic? Have seen many videos on youtube where the VC's look incredible. I know having a higher-end system helps and I've taken that into account. I've tried different settings, but haven't found a sweet spot yet. Am looking for something that also won't kill the framerates, if possible. My current system is an MSI Z390 mobo, i7 8700 3.2Gb "Coffee Lake" chip, RTX 2060 6Gb vcard, 32Gb Corsair "Vengeance LPX" 2666 RAM, 40" 4k TV @ 1080P. Also using Active Sky and ORBX with it. I'm getting this error message every time I start P3Dv4.5. I've tried restarting my computer, running the Ultimate Traffic Live v2 Interface but I still get the error. Jerry

After the update to 7857 I have got redused fps everytime I start ASP3D in P3dv.5.2 hf1. Normally I have 30-35 fps when I start P3d, but as soon as I start ASP3D with ASCA and Envshade, the fps drop 10-15 fps. To me it seems that the more clouds, the higher drops. I have contacted Hifi support, but they could not give me a good answer. They say there is no change in the program that should cause this. I got some advice which I have tried, but no change. I have now 7900 and the drop in fps is still there. Has anyone experienced the same and solved it? Could it be a Envshade problem? Tor Arild Danielsen

I just finished a LIMC - LEBL flight and at a cruising 28,000 feet I encountered a strong TS for about 80 miles with lightning and thunder all the time all very nice but I found it very strange that with an outside temperature of -30 C ° heavy rain was displayed which continued up to 7000 feet approaching LEBL where the outside temperature it had risen to + 10 C °.

How do I run RTSS in P3D? I have set it up on the desktop, but there is no SAVE button or anything. Is it supposed to run automatically when I load P3D? If so, it does not seem to be working.

Hi guys, i have used an PXN 2113 at least 10 month. Recently i seen it have a little problem but it's very annoying, that's when i control on AXES, the rudder is messed up and move athough i'm not move it. Is there any problem on my joystick or just calibrate than i can use it normally? Please answer me and tks very much!

Hello, Does anybody know how to make Blue look of the horizon with Tomato Shade, so that everything looks more blue in distance when flying? Which variable should I increase or decrease within Tomato Shade? So, the further I look, it is more and more blue.. Thanks.
