Hello all, I was wondering if anybody could potentially explain how one would go about removing default buildings from appearing at 3rd party airports, such as T2G's LFPG. I've done some experimenting and research with ADE and setting exclusions in the AFCAD, but none of my attempts seem to work. If somebody could explain that, I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks!

I fly a lot in North America (and Europe) so I like to buy add-on scenery for that part of the world. One scenery I don't have is LatinVFR's Fort Lauderdale and I would like to know how the scenery is performance wise. I have LatinVFR's Miami scenery and the performance of that scenery basically sucks! If Fort Lauderdale is a bad performer too I will not buy it and hope someone else makes it.

Hello -- I'm having a weird problem with P3Dv5.2. I've got spots with wrong terrain textures in an area that's not covered by Orbx terrain. Coastal islands that are normally covered by sand and pine trees are instead covered by farmland and hardwoods. Areas that should be covered by water at high tide are high and dry instead. While the fall foliage looks nice, it's in the wrong place. I don't know what could have caused this, nor do I know how to fix it. Is there a freeware version for p3d v5.2? I have searched but have not found one. I do remember Ozx produced a Goose way back for FSX, but I have not been able to find it...help appreciated. Thanks. Sherm

Hi Folks, Today I googled to see if there is another scenery of Tan Son Nhat airport (VVTS) other than the Thai Creation representation for... FS2004. And I've come across Viet Sim Scenery a developer who has released recently a couple of vietnamese airports. For the price (less than 10 USD) sure those are not high-end sceneries. Additionnally, many screenshots are by night so we don't see clearly. But I might consider buying one airport because I'd love to have an international vietnamese airport. Anyone have bought an airport from them?

Anybody has this experience with the 5.2 27615 version? I have EA on and notice when the moon is out at night that I have an orange reflection over the water. I would think this is to be white? Any explanation? Thanks!

Back in the "old days" of FSX, there seemed to be quite a few talented simmers who would be open to requests from other simmers to attempt to design an airport (more realistically than the default one provided). I know it's more complicated today, but if anyone is listening, I'd really like to have a realistic rendition of KABE (Allentown, Pa) Intl. Airport for P3d v5. It's my home airport and it's an important airport in the East. It's only about 60 miles from Philadelphia and about 70 miles from New York and Newark, NJ. Of course I would be willing to pay for it if you personally message me. I'd love to see it available for everyone as well. Stan

Sometime I do have a layer over my eg airport scenery I assumed that it has to do with either ORBX Building HD or Global Base pack ? any idea how to remove this unwanted overlay ?

Prepar3D_v5_Professional_5.2.22.27615 I have lost all textures of Clouds in P3D after installations and uninstallations of betas of ActiveSky P3D and ASCA P3D. Whatever I try I cannot recover them. I have reinstalled CONTENT, SCENERY etc. to no avail. With ActiveSky and ASCA uninstalled, by setting, for example, the Gray and Rainy default scenario I still see no clouds. Precipitation does appear on the windows, the sky is misty, but no clouds (slewed vertically up and down to go through cloud layers but no clouds can be seen). Where are the default Clouds textures installed so I can check ? What should I look for there ? I have installed…

I sent ImagineSim the support ticket below, though I have a feeling I'm unlikely to hear from them... does anyone have suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this?

I have tried the Aerosoft DC-8. It is a more polished product than the JustFlight one (which still has its charms), but fuel management did not work as advertised. In their forums, this issue is blamed on a failure to properly initialize and at one or more points patches were released to introduce a delay of some sort, but the latest release was supposed to fix that. Anyway, I don't want to continue to chase this rabbit unless other people have found fuel management to work in the Aerosoft DC-8 as it's described in the documentation. And this is for v5, which I know is not supported, but otherwise seems to work with few problems. Thanks.

I bought Paulo Ricardo's Rio De Janeiro scenery for P3Dv5 and it take 10+ minutes to load the scenery! Is this normal or did I do something wrong? Besides flying fixed wing planes I like flying helicopters in P3D (v5.2). What helicopters would you recommend I should get? I have the Cerasim Blackhawk and Dauphin. I like just about any of the modern helicopters (military helicopters too).

So, I haven't flown into this airport in P3D, only on MSFS and XP11. Just tried it with the A2A 172. WOW, it's terrible... Even with Orbx (all Global Range products - Base, Vector, all LC areas available) that approach into Runway 10 is NOTHING at all like the real thing. There is barely any elevation right prior to the runway, which is always what makes you kind of dive in and what makes that approach challenging. In addition, there were a couple of half-sunken buildings in the ocean right on approach. What's up with that? The default XP11 airport really nailed it. So did MSFS. I'm not sure if I've done something wrong with the settings for AIG, it does all seem to work, plenty of AI but I've never seen an aircraft land only take off, I've been sitting at YSSY at a gate now for three hours and nothing landing only take off's, at this rate the airport will be empty and no AI on the ground. All the AIG flight plans do seem to be set right as per the AIG settings page, anyone else seen this or is it fixed with a click 🤔

Hello All, I am having a dickens of a time trying to create a gauge that I can use to pass variables to and from a vb.net application. I have tried Dawson's XML var package and can't seem to get it to work. My setup is: P3D 5 Arduinos that control the I/O and LED lights an in-house VB.net app that is the go between for P3D and the Arduino's. AirManager for gauge displays I need to create variables I can manage in my VB.net app to trigger events or control LED indicators on our sim. I currently use some light flags in P3D to control events in our sim but require more flags to manipulate. For example, the model we are using doesn't have "Auto Fea…

Hi, Does anyone know if an open mic will send commands to P3Dv5.2? I ask because sometimes coughing or saying something with my mic open seems to trigger random reactions in P3D like reloading a saved situation or opening the ATC window (even though it is disabled in the menu) or pausing P3D! During my last three flights with the A2A B17G I encounter severe stuttering after some time (more than one hour). But before that performance is ok. I should mention that I use VR but disabling it did not stop the stuttering. The fps counter shows very varying fps from up to 60 down to 1 fps. It is a freezing display during a time of maybe half a second. I fly in ORBX scenery. My first idea was that I am running out of resources. But that does not seem to be the case. In the task manager I see that 6 Gb VRAM is used and around 10 Gb Ram. Only CPU is said to constantly be at 100%. But the GPU only around 20%. Which seem strange. Recently DL'd SkunkWorks (SKW) F84, F104G & Tornado fm SimMarket; they were free. They do not come with textures-liveries; one must go to their website to DL them, however website is unreachable as it always errors out... 404. Does anyone out there have any SKW aircraft? I seem to have a problem with the main terminal building in the EireSim Cork Ultimate package. In short, the roof and all of the internal detail is missing. All I have are the glass outer "walls". It worked fine in FSX, so this must be a compatibility issue with P3D (I use version 2.4). I am asking the question here because the developer was last seen on the EireSim support forum in February!! I have tried repeatedly to contact him without success.... On a side note, I have also noticed that my aircraft is pulling slightly to one side during rollout on runway 17/35. I posed this question in the PATCX forums but as we all know it’s hit or miss with them and sometimes you get a response and sometimes you don’t so I thought I’d ask here as well. To all of my PATCX users, I need to know if you all are having the same issue I am with my AI. So at any airport I am at, my aircraft will be parked on the ramp, far away from any taxiing AI traffic but ATC will instruct them to hold position for my aircraft even though there is no conflict. And I am again nowhere near the AI traffic. They will just sit in the same spot and back up other traffic coming or going.At least with the default ATC, the traffic will disappear after a certain amount of t…

Haven't updated P3dV5 in some time in fact i am still on 5.0.31.35253. It appears 5.2 with a hotfix is the latest version. Are there any annoying problems with this one? Also, the sim cockpits are so dark actually black in some places. has this been corrected? Considering updating but if things are still the same there's really no point. really not impressed with P3dV5 except I don't easily run out of VRAM with it. Thanks for any responses. Dave

I know many user do not use AccuFeel but there are a lot that do. The current version which was of V4.5 is accepted by V5 and works it seems without issues. How well it does what it does at the sim ESP core engine level has always been a mystery to me but the proof was in the a change in sounds etc and general flight behaviour with AccuFeel on for various models. Part of the AccuFeel application included the ability to tweak water behaviour in the sim (remember originally this was FSX) so you could change the wave motion, water drag and sea effects with it, effectively producing wave motion in FSX.
