Hi. I have the Duke B60 running in P3D v5 and find the flaps are rather loud when operating (Which is probably modeling from the real Aircraft ). Is there a way to turn them down a bit ? Thanks

Regarding P3d v5.2, I am convinced of doing one thing for sure. When performance starts to "de-grade", delete the Shaders Folder (as many on this forum have already stated). P3d v5.2 works very well for me and I'm very pleased with its performance 99.9% of the time. So, when I change my graphics driver to a new one, I usually always make sure my Shader folder is deleted and I even delete my P3d config ONLY when I change the graphics driver. However, during my daily flights there usually is a point after many days and many flights, that I start to see a degradation of performance manifested by intermittent stutters or intermittent pauses. I currently have GSX but was interested in ultimate ground crew. Do these products both compete with each other or does UGC do different things, and do you think that it's worth it to get?

So I upgraded my rig with a 1080ti, with an liquid cooler, overclocked, not sure what is the spec as I saw how to overclock it on youtube lol. I overclocked my CPU, an i5 8600K to 4.7GHZ and up the volts to 1.325 and replaced my RAM from a Gskill RipJaws 5 2400 mhz, 8gb to a 16gb Corsair vengeance 3600MHZ. I had the ram XMP'd. Still with all that, plus the suggested settings, I can't get above 22 FPS in PMDG 747-400 QOTSII while landing at FlyTampa Kai Tak airport. Not just that, but my FPS would drop from a good 150fps even as high as 200 in the air with ASCA+P3Dv4ActiveSky in flight to below 40FPS when approaching Hong Kong at about 11,000 feet where the FlyTampa scener…

Hi guys. Quick question here: has the autogen loading issue (no autogen loading when extending the drawing distance) been fixed in P3D v5 ? I´m still using P3D v4.5, and recently installed it in my new setup: Intel Core i9 11900K (5.3GHz Boost Clock) Eight Core 64GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 SDRAM 3200MHz 24GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090, GDDR6X As expected, I´m getting stellar results. Does this work in P3D V2 ? is so what are the steps i need to take to get it to work?

I have just updated from v5.1 to v5.2. After 6 months the update seems to focus on bug fixes/more bugs. And, yes, EA. After a full year, EA still only seems to generate two kinds of cloud patterns- clear or overcast. Wow. Nice waffles and pancake clouds. And to top that, lets make it all disappear in a great haze and mist. What is going on over at LM? A team of developers and programmers working full time, and all they produce are a couple of bug fixes every 6 months? Fixing a bit of dis and that? The graphics are still the same. Nothing really new in 20 years. EA has only developed an inch in a whole year. No terrain overhaul, no enhanced regions, weather, …

Hi; I did a cursory search and couldn't find my specific issue. I purchased and installed Active sky today. I noticed that Active sky, initiated at the same time as P3d v5, disabled SODE, and no jetways were visible at any air ports. However, by starting Active sky after my flight is loaded, the problem disappears, unless I change airports.- any ideas?

Hello, as per title, during my flights i experience that clouds suddenly disappear to come back after some time. The change is sudden and not pleasant. I use EA clouds and Active Sky for weather control. Is it a known issue or just me who experience that?

Hi, I don't know if someone else has noticed such a P3Dv5.2HF1 strange prop AI aircraft behaviour, but in my system really happens every time a (turbo)prop takes taxi-out instructions by ATC.The aircraft follows a ground tear-drop like itinerary not hesitating to bump into buildings and, if necessary, out of the airfield premises at a very slow turn rate, before it makes it to follow the nearest taxiway on course to the runway in use. This occurs with AI aircraft like OSP ATRs, TFS DHC-8, and smaller props. And surely it did not occurred in FS9 or FSX. I have installed both AI Ground and AI Flow, but I very much doubt if it is their fault. Any ideas why this hap…

Hi all, As with 4.4 the dynamic lighting was improved, I started to fly again into night time or night time only. However, I still need a special graphics profile for night time flying with reduced settings, but that's fine. To properly set up my sim for night time flying with DL, I used again "my" test scenario, which is LSZH from AS, as this scenery is still pretty hard on FPS. I managed to find a setup with reduced shadow options that provides me roughly the same performance as my pretty high daytime settings (30FPS lock). Means: I now get 25-30FPS in most scenarios while flying in the night, perfect. What did I adjust: 4xMSAA instead of 4xSSAA, no cloud shadows, …

I have big problems in P3D 5.2HF1. Most of my flights cant be finished because of different kind of crashes. It does not seem to be that my system is overloaded. Task manager does not indicate I am running out of VRAM or RAM. I fly with VR using HP Reverb G2. I fly in Orbx scenery and with A2A planes. I have experienced the sim slowing down to stuttering images and also crash to desktop and the latest flight a crash of VR. I have tried both EA and EA disabled. I have tried doing the same flight in MSFS and there it was no problem and I had much better performance. Should I forget about P3D for now and hope for improvement in future updates (5.3 5.4 5.5) ? Hi all, I am an avid flight simmer and also a RW GA pilot. I'm currently finishing up my instrument rating. Some developments lately have made it at least conceivable to use "the other" sim for all my needs, which are essentially just fun VFR flying, and hardcore, realistic IFR simming. But I've come to the conclusion that P3D is simply better as an IFR sim, and not a little better, but a lot. In my RW airplane (Cherokee 180) I have dual G5s and a GTN750. I have been able to get both for simming, although the GTN for the "other" sim is not an exact replica by any stretch (the 750 for P3D is an exact replica, based on the GTN trainer). What is the best/easiest way to get some static aircraft at the stock P3d V4.5 airports? I have all of the "Traffic" sliders maxed but, for example, I landed at O'Hare in Chicago and there were about three of the stock planes sitting at gates and several on the taxiways but no "real" airline or GA planes to be seen...I don't necessarily want moving traffic, just static planes at gates, etc...Is there a way to fix this? I have P3dV5 with HF2 and it has been working fine. Today, I have downloaded the FSLabs A320 for P3DV5, everything seem to go OK with the download. I start the installation, put in my order details, email address and serial number, it gets activated and the install starts and completes. I reboot the PC, and start P3DV5, it gets no further than the splashscreen. I have tried everything I can think of which includes: Extract the zip file and run the exe as administrator Uninstalled the A320 and P3DV5 works perfectly Repaired my P3DV5 installation re-downloaded the A320 zip file in case the first one was corrupt re installed turning off Tr…

I am trying to find an aircraft with G 1000 cockpit and able to do flight planning within G 1000. I have Carrenado C182T but I am not able to put in waypoints by writing in the names. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong, or if this is missing in this aircraft's G 1000. Are there any aircrafts, which works in v5.2, having a G 1000 that works more like the real one?
