hi just treid re installing the updated discount version via simarket, and when i run the exe file i get " please insert disk 1 and click ok" and none of the 3 files can be found, this sometimes happened years ago but i have not seen this for years. i know justsim are on facebook but i stay away from social media , just wondered if anyone on here had a solution or ideas, i have opened a ticket with simarket ?, cheers phil

I was looking forward to Brandenburg, Berlin, airport opening not too long ago. When my wife and I were in Berlin a few years ago, we flew into Tegel, and a tour guide talked about Brandenburg replacing Tegel in the near future. I see that it finally opened to the public in May, 2020. So, I searched for it today for P3dv5, and saw that a version is sold at Simmarket, and another version is sold at Simshack. Do any of you have a preferred version of this airport (EDDB)? I am looking for the best rendition and scenery surrounding the airport. One is higher priced than the other, but I'd rather pay more if it is the best rendition and has additional outlying scenery inc…

Hello, this morning I had this texture issue with the EA on, with latest P3D v5 version, with ASCA and AS active. Picture attached. When EA is off the white-out textures are gone. Cleared shaders a few times, didn't help. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, ivan

I use P3D 5.2 with Orbx scenery. I see glaringly misplaced roads in the scenery. They are clearly drawn over a background scenery. Either this background or the roads must be very incorrectly placed. I have tried remove them in Global Vector configuration. And also uninstalling Vector. Then tried uninstalling Global and then reinstall it. Nothing helps. I also see these roads in regions like PNW. You can see example of this incorrect scenery in the Orbx Central. Select Global Vector the third and fourth pictures show what I mean.

Hello all, I am new to this forum and fairly new at flight sim stuff. I am looking for a quality Avro RJ85 sim product to stay proficient with instrument work. I have all three platforms xplane, msft flightsim x and msft 2020. I am having trouble getting the quality wings avro platform to work correctly or for that matter to even recognize the aircraft. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello All, First of all i'd like to thank you all for taking your time to look at this post. Any help is highly appreciated. I am using VRS tackpack and i need some custom vars, C:Vars to be retrieved into my simconnect exe app. How can i achieve this? In their SDK they point to the following, i am new to c++, have been able to play around with SimConnect quite a bit, however i need to get those C:Vars into SimConnect. Is there any way i can make this happen? I've seen mentions of looking at the mixedmode example in the sdk (cabin comfort). I've looked into it and tried to understand, however, i have not been able to understand the code properly. Is there any …

I couldn't find the Prepared main folder while trying to install REX Active Sky. I got the serial number and everything else right, but couldn't locate the default folder. I have Prepared v4. I installed Prepared v4 in the D:\Drive. The pop up in question has options for Prepared v1,2,3,but not 4. It also has as options FSX SE and FSX.

When I access the POS REPORT page on the Lower CDU it gives a figure. This figure is a mystery as it appears to bear no relation to fuel required to destination, fuel remainng in tanks or any fuel to alternate calculation. As example I am currently over the North Atlantic just west of 20 degs West where fuel to destination is 36.6 tonnes, fuel loaded pre-flight was 53.9 tonnes, and fuel on board was 41.9 tonnes. I have posted this on the FSDT support forum but haven't heard back yet. I've been having problems with jetways etc at Drzewiecki Design KJFK (I was getting a doubling up of the SODE/GSX jetways). I tried switching some off through the GSX menu and now I get this error message: https://imgur.com/BPN4i6d There doesn't seem to be anything I can do to get rid of it. I've tried uninstalling GSX, the DD KJFK scenery but still I get the error. Can anyone help? Thanks

If there are any P3dV5 users that have the Add-on Traffic Global from Just Flight, can you please let me know how long it takes to download the "Schedules" I have been running now for almost 12 hrs !!! Hello guys, I got a random ucrtbase.dll error when change a view with chaseplane. It happens after 3 hours flight or after 20 min - seems to be randomly. I'm also getting this issue when I tried to load a saved scenario, P3D does not load the scenario, it crashes at 0% of Loading. I tried so much but this issue still exists from time to time. Does anyone have any ideas? Most of the time I'm using FSLABS with v5. HF2, AchtiveSky, Chaseplane, FFTF Dynamic an updated Windows 10 and all redistributable are installed

So I am in a bit of a dilemma. FlyTampa just released Athens for MSFS. $17.99 That is great but I also wanted to give it a whirl with the PMDG 777 and QW 787 neither available for MSFS yet so figured "hey, I'll pick it up for MSFS and P3D together" -Best of both worlds right. Then I went to the FT site. While MSFS add-ons are $18 new most of the older P3D sceneries are $24-$31 Athens is 1/3 more for P3d, Sydney is nearly double the price at $32 vs $17.99 for MSFS. I'm trying to remove some scenery, but it's greyed out in the scenery library. How do I remove it?

Hi all, anyone have experience of poor FPS at night and solutions? I have tried everything from removing all shadows, LOD reduction, clean .cfg file in case it was a tweak issue (I had modified light points to 900 but that doesn't seem to be the issue), but I still get highly erratic 20-30 at night in cities/large airports versus smooth 40-60 in daytime. I have i7-9700K OC 5GHz, 4K monitor RTX 3080Ti, 32gb RAM, everything on NVMe drive. Running FSLABS, ORBX pretty much everything. Any clues appreciated!

Specifications: Intel Core i7-10750H 16 GB DDR4-2666 RAM 512GB PCI-Express-NVMe-SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM The specifications also states DirectX 12 with feature level 12_0 or greater https://www.prepar3d.com/system-requirements/ With my graphics card, I'm not sure whether it supports that. Can anyone tell me if Parallel 42 is still in business. My Immersion add on for PMDG 747 is not working properly and despite having raised a ticket 2 weeks ago and following up a week later, there is still no response to my query. Very odd.

Hi! I've got a little issue with the start-menu of P3D! This topic has already been asked on the P3D-support site, but with no response, so I give it a retry.. When I start P3D (under admin rights) the window just looks normal, but when I go over the screen with my mouse, most of the buttons and windows disappear. Instead of the buttons and the screen there comes some weired graphic (like in my posted picture) . I've bought a new PC and reinstalled P3D previously. Former version was v4, now - with the new computer I've upgraded to v4.5. before the PC-change there was no issue. My specs of the PC are: Win10, core i9, ASUS ROG STRIX X299 (Mainboard)…

Hi, The title says it all, Will the Vertigo Studios Vans RV-8 work in P3DV5.X? Has anybody tried it? I am looking at purchasing if I know it will work in P3DV5.X. I'm familiar with Doug Dawson's 64 bit sound gauge and XMLtools 64 if needed. I think the main issue would be if the RV-8 has non XML gauges, for example *.gau files. Thanks, John C.

I was complaining a lot about the weather but must also say now that with latest Active Sky it has improved a lot! I have EA on and Volumetric cloud enabled and Detailed clouds checked in AS. It is really good now also the smoothing is much better! Just wonder what other people’s experiences are?

Downloaded and tried the new 496.49 Nvidia driver today. So far I'm impressed with it, but you'll have to decide for yourself. Flew from MUHA (Havana) to KMCO (Orlando), then on to KSAV (Savannah) and finally to KABE (Allentown). Flew a Jetblue A-320 and had not a single hitch along the way. No pauses or stutters significant enough to recognize. Active Sky weather and an overall wonderful morning and afternoon flight experience. Stan

Hello look at following screenshot: https://ibb.co/Bypy0cR When I have foggy conditons (Active Sky/EA mode) I got this white trees etc. Where is the problem? When there is clear sky all trees look okay. I reinstalled the client aswall and have no envshade etc. Thanks!
