This morning I got the typical Windows message saying they have some updates for my Win7 install. Usually a non-issue but today after installing, rebooting I am not able to span P3D across three displays. Usually, I can just be in window mode, grab a corner and stretch 'er out. Well the window stretches but P3D stays only on one display. Actually, I think it bleeds a tad onto the 2nd display but I can't grab 'er to extent it? If I now use the 'borderless' program to simulate a full wrap-around mode in non-window mode, the entire three screens go black. So first I just want to ask to see if any other Surround simmer has updated and is seeing the same type issues?…

So here I am, re-building my computer with Win 7 64-bit and then re-installing FSX aand all of the associated goodies. And I am admitting to having some crash problems with same. And then along comes someone claiming Prepar3d is the next Flight Sim. Try as I might, all of my investigations to date do not show any flight sim in Prepar3d. Hello there, I am considering to buy some FTX regions. While trying out the demo regions, it was not possible to activate more than one region at the same time in FTX Central. Although FTX is more a GA oriented product, I am wondering if there is some way to activate two or more regions at the same time for intercontinental flights, say e.g. from EU Eng to US PNW? Hi Have been running P3D for a couple of months and have a couple of small issues that I hope that you guys could help with please? Whenever I have comms through the headset the speaker sounds seems to reduce quite a lot. Basically the cockpit/engine noise decreases whenever comms are in use even if flying online with Vatsim? Seems to happen if I test with default ATC also? After launching the sim and for quite a while afterwards whenever I click on a desktop icon it seems as though I have clicked twice (with a pause), for example the icons name would appear as though you wanted to rename it? It looks excellent IMO, but I still want to see how they handle London and particularly the Suburbs and fields within the M25. Hi. I had another bad surprise today: P3D seems not to be able to import flight plans created by "simroutes.com". Example: The DHC6 is easy to fly, but doesn't have a FMS. I need to fly IFR from EDFH to LSZA. (Lugano - CH) Lugano has a really difficult IFR approach for Cat A or B aircraft only. So I usually create a flight plan including the SID and STAR points using simroutes.com (generate routes), export the route in FSX format and load it into the FSX route planner. Then it is easy to use the GPS and activate NAV mode of the autopilot to follow that route. Even in a nonFMS aircraft. But P3D doesn't even list that flightplan. I am able to find a lot of…

Just curious how the default P3D scenery is without UTX and GEX. I automatically just installed them when initially installed P3d and haven't tested out P3D without them. I realize I could easily just uninstall them and test, but before I go through the trouble I'd like to see if anyone has a comment..... I'm also interested in if it would help performance much.

Hi everyone, I've worked my way through Nick Needham's comprehensive instructions for setting up FSX/Prepar3D (and the sim seems very fluid on my cutomized Alienware M18x laptop) but it seems I have fallen at the last hurdle and my on screen image stubbornly remains devoid of any Anti-aliasing and Anisitropic filtering. I am using Nvidia Inspector 1.9.6.7, created the new profile, added application to current profile (or so I thought) and Applied changes, yet these settings are not being applied in the sim. O/S is Windows 7 Professional (SP1) My GPUs are 2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M in SLI configuration using the 269.03 drivers (Dell don't make it easy to u…

Hello dear P3D Fellows, call me now a new member to your society Everything is well, but I have problems with the A2A Input Configurator (IC) If I assign an axis with the IC, I see full range in the IC's axis preview (from 0 to 100%), but in the VC itself I just get exactly 50% to 100% of the assigned lever movement. The windows device window shows me also a normal behave, also the FSUIPC range of the lever is working as it should. Also disabling FSUIPC makes no difference (note that I have assigned all axis through FSUIPC) I have also assigned axis via the P3D menue, also working well. I modified the Prepar3D dll.xml in accordance with their web site instructions which prevented P3D from launching.
