I have several products from Orbx and all work well, but KWYS and OG39 were installed and are not appearing, are not working in FSX, library are appearing normally already, installed and uninstalled and does not work, what could be wrong? Sorry for my English.

Heya! I just bought and installed Orbx England, but getting abit of problem with my installed UK2000 airports. Even though i have manually moved the UK2000 airports above the Orbx Eng in the scenery list i still see the default (orbx) Fsx airport. I've found one "solution" to the problem, in disable the scenery file of Orbx in the scnenery list. This "solution" will however disable all the "non-airport" sceney objects aswell. Anyone know how i can get rid of the default (orbx) airports? I attached a screenshot to show you what i mean. Cheers! /Zmoce

With the release of England, are there any rumors about what will be Orbx's next major scenery project? I suspect the answer may be no? ps:Am very excited about their next aiport project, being Felts Airport in Spokane.

Hi All, I going nuts trying to make my Saitek AV8R-01 joystick and Saitek Rudder Pedals work. No matter where I set the null zone on my rudder pedals I can't release the brakes. I've calibrated them, and have the reverse boxes checked like I always have with FSX. I can't get the joystick to function with the ailerons, elevator, at all. Everytime I set axis on them and exit back to a flight they keep responding as brakes. I'm baffled. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Just installed academic version of P3D. Trying to start it I get this errormessage imidiately: Prepar3D cannot run because the version of Microsoft DirectX installed on your computer is incompatible. Please download the current version of DirectX9.0c from http://www.microsoft.com/directx I have Windows 7 probably with DirectX11. Is this a problem? I had P3D installed without problems before I upgraded my PC. Best Regards Lars

Does someone has the same problems with the UK? It is all blurrie and mainly water everywhere with the trees in it and mountains partly from water. some of them disappear and new ones coming up. I tried several places like isle of man/cardiff/blackpool etc. the runways are fine but after that one mess I uninstalled and reboot and downloaded again a new version but exactly the same results. I dont have it with NA and australia and new sealand. only uk is terrible I found the site of the forum ftx but they asked me for an ordernumber so I gave it but now I got the message : you are not allowed to attemp. maybe they closed the site for a while Duke

Hi I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not, admins feel free to move it if needed. I have been an avid flight simmer for years, own all the ms titles as well as others, and now downloading prepar3d academic. Can't wait to try this out. My pc seems to have a hard time with FSX and X-plane 10 with graphics high. It runs fine, but I get "framing" as if I am in an old picture show (showing my age). Hi I grew up with MS Flight Sim back when Bruce Artwick owned it, so I am giving away my age lol. I have all MS Flight titles, and recently found info on Prepar3d. I am downloading the academic version now and looking forward to flying it. I have been skimming around in these forums and found where some users are applying tweaks for Prepar3d such as affinitymask, HT setting off, UsePools etc. Where can I find a listing of how to set these tweaks or is there a wiki page for this simulator that has that information? Again, I have been out of it for quite a while and getting back into flying. Thanks for the help Tony

When I enable FTX it puts all of the FTX stuff at the top of my scenery list. I have some other addons like Kelowna and Vancouver that are in the FTX region and I guess these then have to be moved up so they are above FTX. Is there anyway to automate this? Thanks!

Has anyone made any progress with FSInn and Prepar3D? I can connect to VATSIM, but cannot see other aircraft and the sim slows to a crawl whenever there is an airplane within my set multiplayer range in FSInn.

Hi All, Installed Win 8 a week ago as well as P3D. I don't have FSX installed. Is it possible to get FSX Aircraft off of the CD's without installing FSX? Thank, Craig

Acknowledging all copyright and my interpretation of the terms of use, Has anyone made the above Majestic addon work in P3D? If so could you PM me with the details. The engines change tone and the aircraft moves when I throttle up, but neither gauges or levers move at all. If you would prefer PM me please.

Hi guys, Completely disregarding the common mantra "don't fix it if it is not broken" I recently upgraded my system to Windows 8. This included a complete reinstallation of P3D. My problem now is that I am unable to recreate the experience of performance that I had before the reinstallation. My specs are i7 [email protected], 16GBram, GeForce560Ti. I used to be able to run the NGX around Europe locked at 30 FPS with most sliders to the right, except for complexity at dense and autogen normal. The same goes for GA aircraft around PWN. After the upgrade I get around 20 FPS with the same settings for both scenarios. Moving the scenery sliders up or down does not have …

I like the GNS 530 in my RealAir Legacy but I don't like the fact there isn't a way to have all databases correspond with each other... In NA I usually had problems finding an airport in the GNS because ICAO codes had changed over time and now in England I just found out there are airports the GNS 530 doesn't know AT ALL...! (I use the June 2011 database for the GNS). I just tried to take off from EGOX but the GNS didn't know it... I wonder how many other airports there are that the GNS doesn't know...? I've basically ditched FSX altogether and am running P3d. I have one 24-inch LCD but have been thinking about a 3 panel setup (not only for P3d, but work as well). Any recommendations on a nice LCD monitor that would work for a 2 or 3 panel setup? I assume something with thin bezel edges would be key. Thanks-

As many here have mentioned compatability with UK2000 airfields and add-ons I thought that the following review that I just stumbled upon might help? Would the wise men please take a moment or two to advise me what my next upgrade should include. I use the machine exclusively for Prepar3D. After twelve months and about 3,000 mostly P3D hours and the bugs are starting to appear such as taking longer to load scenery, occasional black patches and slower response times from the cockpit. No stutters or stammers and the only scenery that brings my current computer to its knees is ORBX at YBBN. I have most settings on maximum. I have not overclocked because I do not know how to. Otherwise you will be missing all possible parking spots and maybe even airports. I thought of this when I planned my first trip in England with Plan-G and it couldn't come up with a parking spot!
