Look at the picture attached, there is a serious failure of transition from one state to another, between New Mexico and Colorado. There can be no lines separating one state from another. The color is also very different, had to be like that, like the images of GoogleEarth. So it is strange flying the US. I am still awaiting the PCaviator for this correction, since bought many states and all are different colors and lines separating from one another. The states with ultra-resolution are also not well, see the color difference in the attached pictures. I keep buying, but need to solve this and leave a color pattern and no lines.

How can one tell if their airport scenery has "Photoreal Scenery" or not? I don't want any Photoreal Scenery activated unless I need it to be, but I can't tell which has Photoreal Scenery and which don't.

Does anyone know where Treescapes Vol 7 Central Scotland is available, DVD or download, please? I need it to complete my collection of Vol 1 to 8. I've Googled till I'm blue in the face but no luck. I'm aware ES has sadly gone out of business, but that's no reason for their products to have all suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth! Many thanks.

I've had to uninstall and reinstall FSX and Horizon VFR Photo' Scenery Gen.X Version 2 Southern England. I now find that the FSX default airfields do not blend with the photo' scenery but show 'cliffs' around some airfields. I do remember this feature way back when the scenery was introduced and it was subsequently corrected. Could I have help with this feature? I do have DVD discs for UK2000 Scenery Airfields - Southern England. Would installing these help? Thanks.

Hi, I like to turn on tileproxy while on jet flights - it adds a real sense of realism from 35,000 ft. But it would be nice if I could set up tileproxy in a way that leaves a cone of FS scenery around the plane, like FS Altitude. This way, as I descend, the tileproxy scenery will appear to fade into the distance while the FS scenery takes its place. Has anyone else been able to set up tileproxy like this, or know of a way to do it? Bryn.

Hi After reinstalling FSX on a new drive I attemped to reinstall the base version 2 volumes (1 to 3) of horizon's VFR scenery.After ages and after theoretically installing the data from the 3 DVDs the installer crashed. Hadn't tried looking for Italy in a while so did a quick google a couple of weeks back and lo and behold I found this: http://fsxitaly.mygamesonline.org/index.php/download Full Italian photoscenery, for free. Yes it is 2m but that's more than enough for IFR (and not bad for VFR either really), and there's an ongoing autogen project as well. I've not had a chance to fly it much but it all seems to be there and looks very nice. Enjoy!

Hi Guys, After trying some photoscenery from Bluesky I decided this is the way to go from now on. I am going to switch from FSX to FSX SE and use photoscenery as much as possible from here on. (I have GEX/UTX for areas where I cant get (or cant afford yet) photoscenery. FSX SE will be installed into a fresh new win7 OS......so nothing from FSX boxed is there to cause trouble! I also just bought some Megascenery Earth stuff. The old version versus v2.0 stuff is not explained very well......how do I know if I downloaded/bought the old version or v2.0? And, do Megascenery and Bluesky correct original FSX airport positions so they are accurate? In otherwor…

Trying to install the big island from the hawaii photoreal project and having no luck. I downloaded all four files however getting message that files are corrupt. 3 of the files are bin files the 4th is the installer. Anyone install this scenery successfully ? thanks

Hallo, I'm searching for Italy's photoreal scenery free for my VFR flight, but I foundo only photoscenery of the aeroportual areas and not of the whole Italian territory. I found this link (http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx/italy.html) but many photoscenery are obsolete. Are there free recent scenarios of the Italian territory (not only airports)? i want to fly out of Salt Lake City. But all I am finding is freeware. Is the blue sky of Salt Lake City pretty good? Is this also freeware? I never heard of bluesky but from the screenshots they look pretty good. Thanks

i now have a bunch of random Utah and California areas installed. How would I take say, 15 California areas and combine them all in one folder? It would just be easier than having 15 seperate areas to turn on and off in the scenery libary. Thanks!

just installed the Denver megasceneryearth. Flew the Pmdg 737. And fsx crashes to the desktop and restarted about 5 min into the flight. Here is what I have from the event viewer. Running dx9. Windows 7. I7 930 at 4.2. Gtx 970. 12 gb of ram. I've created this video to show the difference in texture loading when you have your photo scenery on a HDD vs a SSD. I thought a Side By Side comparison can be a bit easier to put in to context instead of a lot of numbers. I've tested this extensivly before and for more information about where and how this test is carried out please have a look at this thread. There you can also see loads of numbers relevant to other drives. Pretty much all SSDs will perform the same, but any HDD that isn't the Velociraptor will perform even worse.

i installed 12 areas of Utah all around kslc. Tested everyone area first and they all look great. So I flew the Pmdg 737 out of kslc to ksfo. Everything looked absolutely amazing! Till I was flying just west of the KPDG airport area (which I have tested). It was default scenery?? Is there anyway I should have these scenerys in my libary? Thanks.

i mainly fly the Pmdg 737. And when I fly to Denver or fly out of Denver I use flightbeams kden. Would it be more benifitful for me to buy the megasceneryearth Denver or Colorado? What do ya think? Thanks guys

i really like how dx9 runs so smooth and without any glitches. But when I set my LOD higher than 7.5 I get OOM errors. Will running the dx10 fixer without any special dx10 effects enabled help the problem? I am not interested in any shadows or bloom with dx10. Thanks.

Based on recommendations, I'm using the FSX Scenery Config Toolbox to deactivate scenery areas I'm not using. This does improve load times, but GSX has an automatic airport indexing process each time this utility is used. When I start FSX, I'm being told to "wait" for GSX to do it's indexing. Is that just the way it is, or is there a workaround for that?

i am getting a little tired of the default orbx global of Innsbruck. Does mega scenery earth have anything to bring this alive? Thanks

Hi Guys, I just purchased the Hawaii scenery, but in my account download area there are only htm-files, not zip-files. This htm-file is only 12 MB in size. In the mail the store sent me, the download links lead to those htm-file, too. Anyone has advise how to proceed? Thanks in advance, Tris
