Why does MSE Colorado 2.0 have so much color variants throughout the state and horrible color degradation in many parts? Hard to fly and think it is 'real' Michael

Have just bought and installed my first MegaSceneryEarth V.2, Florida. The scenery looks fine but I have no comparison. Have a lot of pay-ware airports and other add-ons like Aerosoft Manhatten X, FSGlobal 2008, UTX America, GEX America/Canada etc. I am thinking op buying the New York State MSE. Are there any compatibility issues which may cause interference with other add-ons. On forums it states that airports must be higher in the Scenery than MSE, I presume they mean the Library. MSE is not showing in the Library but when I want to add Florida manually (which is not in the main FSX folder but on the same HD) to the Library I get a message th…

I recently installed Megascenery Earth for PA. The install went fine, but when I fly I do not notice any difference from the default scenery? Is there a setting I am missing? Thanks!

I have purchased both of these products yesterday. I really like them, except the some of the airports appears like they are up on a 50 foot mound. I have the Aerosoft LA on top in my scenery list, and Megascenery 2nd. If I remove Aerosoft LA, then the airports are not on a mound. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Many thanks,

I have the earlier version of Megascenery Earth v1.0 the state of CA (I think it was v 1.0) with autogen and I prefer that to the new V2.0 The Megascenery site used to have the map of CA with the folder/file number ,mapping. If I want to disable some areas I know which folder I need to disable. Now that map has been removed from their side Does anyone have that map? did anyone take a screenshot of it? I wish I had. Hi all! So I downloaded Megascenery Pacific Northwest for FS9. It installed properly and everything. Everything was done with admin permissions. (I'm running windows 8). However, its just not working. Like, its just not working. I load up at Tacoma and its all default and nothing has changed. I've messed around with the scenery library and it won't do anything either. I'm pretty much at a stand still. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for your time and help! A. Ford

Hello. I just recently came across the mention of openVFR and their autogen products while reading through some of the comments about Orbx FTX Global. While that product appears to be great in its transformation of FSX, it's still for photo real guys like me, not "real". It looks really nice and pretty. But, you're still dependent on the landclass system which can only be so accurate as to what you'd really see on the ground. Probably the single biggest reason to stay with this current landclass/autogen scenery setup is because of the 3d feel you get on the ground or close to it. That's the biggest complaint against photo real scenery I think. "It's too flat". Well, …

Ultra-Res Cities New York Any comments on this scenery add on??

I have Horizons vfr genx photo scenery of the UK for FSX,including the version 2 upgrades. Can anyone tell me how FSX loads scenery? It seems that if I have all of the VFR scenery active in the scenery library, my flights takes ages to load, even when I am not loading a flight within the VFR area! E.g. I can load a flight departing Edinburgh Scotland and the flight takes minutes to load with the England VFR scenery active. Surely this shouldn't be the case? Stuart

Anyone bought it? Seems a slightly odd choice to develop given NL2000 but there we go. Especially when there's still no Italy (pet hate!) :lol:

Hi all, I recently purchased Miami and Orlando Ultra Res. scenery and seem to have the same problems that Frank P reported in the Orlando thread. Both are installed on top of Florida and it looks like this: It's not only the whitish band along the coast, it's also inland. Here's another one, taken at around 1200 ft: As one can see, the scenery at 1200 ft looks pretty blurry. But when you pause your flight for some 10 to 12 seconds, the tile right below the plane clears and it looks like this: Problem is, as soon as you continue flying, the tile that had just been cleared, turns whitish and blurry again. I am concerned that this has taken a back seat to the development of the Ultra-Res titles that are being released at a steady rate. I have sent many emails in request of some release information, my last response was last fall disclosing a possible November 2013 release.

I'm looking at picking up TX and CA but was wondering if I should hold out for a sale. Do they ever go down in price and if so, by how much? Thanks in advance

Hello All, A while ago I tried a bit of the Blue Sky photo real scenery for an area just south of KSFO, but I installed the excellent ORBX Northern California scenery package, and I am still seeing the Blue Sky scenery. I tried deactivating the Blue Sky scenery in the scenery library from within FSX, and even deleted it completely from the scenery library, but strangely it persists. What am I doing wrong here? Hi, In the title, read Ultra-Res Atlanta and Georgia (not Florida) MSE 2.0. Sorry. These files can be removed from MSE 2.0 Georgia scenery if MSE 2.0 textures come over Ultra-Res textures on some places when both are activated in the library : (I put them in a separated file which I activate in the library when UR is not activated and vice versa)

I might be the only one having this small problem, yet I hope to find some help here on this forum. I have installed both the MSE2 Mass. and Boston scenery and seem to have an issue with the secenry along the coast line. The following pictures show you what I mean: Default scenery around Natucket island, GEX, UTX uninstalled: MSE2 Mass. installed, as one can see, the default coast line remains visible: MSE2 Mass. and Boston installed, Boston at a higher priority, default coast line still visible. I recently purchased MSE CA N,S,C. When flying at night I noticed that there are blocks of night textures missing. I have changed priority and deactivated other scenery to try to see if there is a conflict with no result. Any ideas?

I have contacted MegaScenery Earth through their "contact us" link several days ago but have had no response so thought I would ask the question here. I have SimSavvy's Photoreal America HD and am quite pleased with it except for the water features being brown.
