Occasionally we all find we are missing one or more tiles from (name your fave state). Well I just found one of mine. I have noted several missing tiles here and there in the Eastern States over which I do most of my flying and have not always patched the missing tiles. But I recently found one tile way over in Illinois!! I don't own any photoreal scenery (MSE) for that state. Obviously an IL tile had gotten mixed into the set for some East Coast State. What are the chances of just happening to fly over the one tile that had gotten misplaced??

I got an e-mail today with a message that Megascenery is teaming up with Sim-Saavy. So I thought, oh this is cool, we now can have good photo textures with autogens. But that's not the case. It looks like Sim Saavy is now sold under Megascenery banner? It was announced with a big happy smile that there is not going to be any of the silly autogens. This is like someone peeing on my leg and telling me that its raining. I mean seriously, what kind of Putz do they think we are to tell us that we would be happy not to have autogens. I finally purchased the State of Texas (yes, the whole package) from MegaSceneryEarth and got it downloaded yesterday. I hemmed and hawed for a long time but decided it was time to get it. This has got to be the largest download and installation of an FSX product ever! There are 103 files for the complete package consisting of 106GB's and it took me about 4 hours to download all of them. Then I had to extract the setup program from each file (that took about another 2 hours) and run each setup program.... 103 times! I've tried torrent links provided in the guide from the library and I've managed to get Catalan ok but everything apart from one area for Aragon errors when I unzip the rar file. I can't find any other torrents or download links - any ideas? The bit that I've got is very very good so I'd like to get the rest.

Hi All, I purchased and installed MegaScenery2 Virginia. I checked in the scenery library and it is there and checked. Took off on my first flight from KROA and the scenery looks no different to me than what I had before. I used FSGenesis and GEX.

Hello! I just downloaded my first Blue Sky scenery area (San Fran area). I cannont seem to get it to appear in FSX. Here is what I'm doing to install it: I created a folder called "Blue Sky SFO" and put all the bgl files I downloaded into it, inside a folder called "Scenery" I put that folder in the Add Ons folder inside FSX main directory I fire up FSX, go to the scenery library, click on Add Area, select the "Blue Sky SFO" folder, click in the white area in the box. It then appears in the scenery list at spot number 1, with the check box checked. I exit FSX, restart, position at KSFO, and I get the same default scenery as always. Any ideas? What am…

Couple Tiles missing in the Western Panhandle of NC look at downloaded files and NC_Ariel L11 to L18 is missing on the North Carolina otherwise its looks pretty good

Hello guys, I have been thinking that we all have photoreal sceneries of Europe/USA but none of Asia.. and I don't think if anyone is willing to come up with it.. Imagine how beautiful it is to discover Asian counteries like India,Nepal etc.. .There is no shortage of Europe and US sceneries but there are hardly any for ASIA!! Is there any team/group willing to do photoreal Asia!? Even if it's payware I will buy it without a doubt..I am little tired of seeing it.. I would love get to something for ASIA as well.. Megascenery is limited to US only,ORBX is US/NZ , Sim savvy US only and left ones are for Europe.. The thing that troubles me while flying to Asian counteries …

I must admit that my first response to Megasceneryearth was, "Oh, yuck." But then, after flying it for awhile, I really do like it. I switch it off when flying in evening because I like all the autogen and lighting for nighttime approaches. But flying during the day? No brainer. Anyway, my question is, Can anyone direct me to a tutorial, or give a hint, on how to use the underlying textures to align runways and taxiways. The photoreal scenery is more accurate than the FSX default, which means taxiways are skewed, etc. I assume the answer lies in importing some sort of background picture into ADE and using it to create a new airport file. Any ideas?

How is it going, I was wondering if some of you that have been able to get tileproxy to load fast enough and look good? if you have could shoot me over a copy of your tileproxy.ini. For some reason I cannot get tileproxy to load fast enough to get good looking tiles when Im flying its super annoying, they are just super blurry and don't load quick enough for me to even feel like its worth it. Was wondering if anyone knows what is causing MegaScenry SoCal (a recent purchase/download) to constantly be redrawing the water texture/mesh layer or ? for coastal bay areas (e.g., San Diego Bay) in block like sections,or if this is a "situation normal" issue with MegaScenry SoCal. I searched for any related posts here and via Google but have not come across this topic. To troubleshoot this, I did a fresh install of FSX, and then installed MegaScenry as my only add on (which is when the issue appears). Made sure to put MegaScenry at the top in Scenic Library. I hope this is the right forum to ask. Has anyone managed to run France VFR (The new v2 sceneries) along with Aerosoft's VFR Germany. I know both alter the autogen, but I can't find information if whether they will both play fair together. I was going to post on their site, but looks like it's all in French and it's hard to get through the info using Google translate.

For some reason I'm getting some black squares off the coast of Southern California with my Blue Sky scenery. The rest of the coast is fine. I've attached a screenshot if you can open it. The squares are not perfectly black just dark. They have some kind of texture, maybe even some clouds? Anybody know what might cause this? Hal - KATL

Whenever I install photoreal scenery the "grass" surrounding any airport runways, etc. disappears and the mult-colors of the flat photoreal shows through. This is not very realistic. Is there a way to prevent and/or fix this? Hal - KATL

Hello, From what I can find, there doesn't appear to be much photoreal scenery for Alaska. I know Tongass Fjords is out there, but that only has certain areas of photoreal. The rest I guess must be Orbx-like? It looks good of course but still not "real". So, I have been playing with fsearthtiles recently and was starting to think of trying to do AK using that. My biggest question that I have though is are there any good quality sources out there or what sources are the best in fsearthtiles? I've been roaming around in Google Earth to see what their images look like and they range quite a bit depending on where you are in the state. Or, anyone know of good qu…

Just bought France VFR Brittagne. Is there a way to install it on another hardrive as im running out of space on my SSD disk? Tried to install it on a different drive but the installer told me that it needed to be in the FSX folder, but that I could move it over to another drive after the installation whas finished(How?). Could't find any info on this in the manuals. BTW anyone knows when if they are going to finish rest of France VFR with autogen? Is there any other photo scenery out there that has this much autogen? I see that NL2000 V 4.0 is out http://www.nl-2000.c...article&sid=289 You can download the additions and add to what you may already have rather than re download and re install the whole the thing all over again. But I have not been able to add those new downloads selectively. Anyone done this? I am more interested in the new upgraded autogens for NL nl2k_v4.03_Tree_upgrade Manny

Hello Everyone, Is it possible to cover Europe with photoreal scenery? I know there are various freeware and payware areas of Europe available(UK2000, NL2000, FranceVFR etc) but is it possible to cover the entire continent? Something similar to SimSavvy for the US? Thanks.

No sign of them since the 'server migration' late last year.Vero FS made a bit of nice scenery fo cali but then went pre quiet mid last year. My login to the site is no longer recognised.The only place I seem to be able to get large-scale photoscenery now is megascenery earth - and it seems to be a few years since they made any.Apart from the scottish photoscenery being developed by horizon I can't think of any current photoscenery project that might get me excited.Is there just no market for this stuff?

Hey all, a few quick questions: 1) When run from an external drive as provided, is there any impact (either positive or negative) to performance? 2) Is there a basic install guide? Hey Guys, I have never posted on this sub-forum before but I have a quick question. I am the owner of SimSavvy's Massive scenery which I love immensely. In fact I just got my HD back from Larry after he upgraded the rest of my scenery to 50cm. The question I have is: how do I disable the default bridges from showing with out affecting the other scenery.

Has anybody heard anything about a release date for Jersey by Earth Simulations? I have Alderney and Guernsey and would love to complete the trio. Alternatively, is any other software developer working on Jersey at the moment?
