Hello. I'm wondering if anyone can comment on the compatibility of the CPFlight MCP with the RS232 connection(old version of CPFlight's MCP). Any issues in getting this to work with the NGX? Also, I have Opus and I know they have support for CPFlight MCP. Is that only for the USB version or does it matter? Thanks.

In my PMDC 737NGX the Primary Flight Display and all the other "gauges" have no numbers. The "gauges" exist, but can not be used for flight. Any help would be appreciated. A picture is attached. Thank you.

Hey everybody! I'm planning to purchase the great NGX (I definately want to). But before doing so i'd like to ask the specialsts about what they think FSX and the NGX will run like on my System. I recently ordered a new Computer just for FSX and its specs are: Intel i7-3820 @ 4,4 GHZ Nvidia GTX 770 2 GB 16 GB DDR3 RAM Windows 7 64 Bit FSX would be installed on one separate SSD. and so on... My FSX setting would be: NO Autogen (I dont need it) NO Addon Scenery (except Mesh Terrain and replacement Textures) NO Addon Traffic or FSX Traffic. I have just uploaded my version of Southwest Airlines Penguin One" livery for the PMDG 737-700 NGX WL to AVSIM and it should be available shortly. There are not alot of good pictures of this aircraft available on the web yet, but thanks to a buddy out Southwest I was able to get some that help with the accuracy of this repaint

I noticed this today, flying in the dark, CAVOK and TAT -24 at FL370. I switched to an EZdok outside view and there was a few raindrops covering "the view". Back inside i noticed small droplets moving along my windows. Is there anywhere to reset these effects? Thanks,

I've been flying the NGX, and I decided an S7 repaint would be nice for flying in and out of Noril'sk and Novosibirsk. I downloaded the S7 livery from Precisionmanuals.com, and the HGS is not working in the plane. I've tried adjusting brightness, clicking the CLR button on the HGS, and even disabling and renabling the HGS. The problem is, it just won't work. Any ideas?

I just did a clean install of FSX and patched it up to SP2, no Acceleration and now every time I exit a flight for the main menu, the menu appears all the way on the far right monitor in the lower corner, the graphics are messed up and the menu options missing. When I mouse over the place where the menu items are the reappear. When I can finally hit ESC to get out of the menu it crashes FSX with a Fatal Error and then restarts FSX. The menu is restored to the center monitor as if nothing happened. The Event Viewer is showing the the FSUI.DLL file is causing the Fatal Error. It ONLY happens if I get into the 737 NGX and then leave back to the main FSX menu. A…

As the title suggests, these are some improvements requested of PMDG, on top of what is already a well rounded product. *remove the Aux Batt selection on the DC Metering Panel, when single battery installed. *Please, please please add more PBN capabilities. *increase the rate of change for the minimums selector knob. *new Keypad NAV Control Panel *new ATC/TCAS Control Panel *FMC - custom waypoint capability to allow ETOPS points to be inserted and properly named, fix the RNP value input problem. I'm curious to know how realistic is 737NGX in flight behaviour, I just tested the plane by doing TO in various wrong configurations : 1. TO with no flaps deployed at all (though the VR are set either at flaps config of 5 deg or 10 deg) and I rotate the plane at VR 2. TO with wrong VR setting by fill in the wrong GW (below the actual GW) and I rotate at the speed below the requirement VR speed (in other word I rotate the plane before the actual VR requirement) 3. TO with no flaps deployed and rotating the plane before VR Surprisingly I TO smoothly at those wrong configuration My other curious is how realistic actually PMDG simulates 737NGX in stall behaviou…

Any body out there using Go-flight modules set to the PMDG interface?. I bought the Advanced mode control panel at the Wichita sim conference and not the mode control panel for the PMDG cause I find the advanced is best of both worlds since I fly a lot on FS-Economy with general planes. I need a bit of a hand to set some up, I'm not doing to bad but need help on a few items on the Advanced panel and the RP48 which I have 2 of .

Hi I did a couple of flights yesterday and not sure if this is the correct behaviour of the LNAV switch Before Take Off I arm VNAV & LNAV both switches are lit and shown armed on the FMA on the PFD. When I press the TOGA and start my Take Off roll the LNAV switch is staying lit, VNAV extinguishes. I thought the correct behaviour was for both VNAV & LNAV to extinguish until they come active about 400. If this is incorrect I haven't noticed how long my NGX has been doing this, or anyone have any ideas what maybe wrong? Thanks guys

Not posting this as a problem as much as wondering if others have experienced similar behavior. Last night I during a VA flight I was approaching Fukuoka some distance behind and above an AI 734. As I leveled off on the approach my -700w suddenly rolled to the right at an extremely high roll rate. I was able to right the aircraft fairly quickly after a roughly 110 degree roll. After the recovery/missed I was again approaching RJFF as another AI (FAIB) 734 got rolling and lifted off shortly ahead of me. Hi to you all,I download and "install" then new sound pack with the new "nose gear sound" and new GRND (taxi roll sound)... try to listen those 2 sounds with mediaplayer they sound ok !!!!! the problem is that into fsx I just hear "nose gear sound" once over 60 kts,but I can't hear taxi sound......trying to change the settings into the equalizer I can hear the taxi sound and no more nosegear sound.... I ve already try to increase every single settings in audio settings of both fsx and 737ngx FMC...I also tried to increase taxi roll sound volume into sound.cfg ....no result.... Hi there, So I have had a minor issue with A/C configurations getting mixed up with their corresponding liveries. For example, if I was flying N389DA, the aircraft config would show up as an Alaska Airlines configuration and it would show N583AS on the FMC. How do you fix this? Thanks for the help in advance!

Preparing to land I press the VOR LOC button followed by the APP button and finally both CMD buttons. Sometimes however one of the two CMD buttons switches off. When I press it again the other button switches off. Not always but sometimes. What could be the cause please? Cliff

Hi all, I can fly the PMDG 737NGX fine. My only shortcoming is that I have to have an ILS CAT III landing or I can't land the plane. For instance if I disengage the autopilot at around 100ft agl, the plane just seems to have way too much lift and I just start gaining altitude, a bit like a feather in the wind!! so to be able to land on the main gear is nearly impossible as I have to pile the nose into the runway to even land the thing! Does anyone know, or can anyone recommend how I can practise these landings and achieve them properly? Thanks.

Hallo, Trying to get familiar with all modes of IRS update I ended up trying to use RWY REMAIN feature of the IRS update in lieu of GPS or other position update features. However trying everything I couldn't see it in action. First test was with VOR L/R DME L/R, ILS L/R and GPS L/R set as failed and IRS set with slight offset coordinates. Afterwards I taxied the aircraft to the end of the runway, selected the correct runway and depressed TO/GA. Second test was with not failures but in NAV STATUS> NAV OPTIONS page I have turned off DME, LOC, VOR and GPS updates and used an intersection takeoff and entered the remaining runway in RWY REMAIN field. Hi Pilots, First of all I have to say NGX is gettin me a lot of fun and learning. I have an issue that I recently realize: my taxi and landing lights do not illuminate the ground (neither platforms, taxiways or runways). I have checked that in FSX settings. I've noticed this is only and NGX issue since I also fly LevelD and Aerosoft with no lights issue. Anybody with the same problem?? Thanks

Hi again! I did a post here a few weeks ago with my FMC problem! Now it works, but now I have a new problem! ;( The panel behind the seat is transparent for some reason! This only happens on the night! Hi, I am running multiple monitor and have used the following 2D gauges to customise my setup. PMDG_737NGX!MasterCautionSystem_Captain PMDG_737NGX!EFIS_Captain PMDG_737NGX!MainMisc These are for the captain's side, do equivalent gauges for the FO's side exist?
