I don't know why, but all of a sudden I have no climb power once I reach FL210. I have re-installed the FSUIPC4.dll file, thinking that it was corrupted. But still no luck. Anyone else come across this issue? I also did a "repair" using the "repair option" in the installer. Still no luck.

Hi all, Few months back I came across a command line for keeping a panel open during view changes. Can some body please remind me. I use the DBS airport gps- everytime you change the view the gps panel disappears and you have to click a button to bring it back. The command line allows the gps panel to stay visible all the time. I look forward to hearing from from soem one. Many thanks. Qas

Hey y'all, so I just did a clean re do on my computer and had everything uninstalled for a brief period of time. Prior to this everything has worked fine, I ran REX, numerous Add on aircraft (about fifty), add on scenery and everything was working fine. However, I just re installed fsx, acceleration, fsuipc 4.99 and all the necessities as I normally had before and then I got to my PMDG 737 I purchased in 2011. The instillation went fine however I noticed it never asked me for my activation codes this time, but I carried on assuming it would remember? And when I started flight sim it gave me an error saying it had an error in the PMDG/DLLs/sound area and fsx immideatl…

Hey guys, I had the Saitek X52 and when I applied just a little throttle my aircraft began moving, as the real aircraft do. I just pruchased the Saitek Proflight Yoke System with two throttles and it takes about 50% of throttle before my aircraft move. I have tried it with my PMDG 737NGX and Qualitywings 757. Not sure what the problem is. I do have a registered copy of FSUIPC.

Hi All, This is for anyone using A2A's 3D lights with the 737NGX. Do the landing lights look the same in both the VC and when in the 2D cockpit? (pics would be appreciate) Here's why I ask. I typically fly in 2D mode on my desktop cockpit. It wasn't until recently I noticed the 737NGX has it's own Landing Light texture that looks great in the VC. However, in 2D cockpit mode the default FSX landing lights are shown (or rather the REX landing light texture). These lights just really mute the runway texture in a sea of gray. So if the A2A lights work well in 2D mode I might switch to those.

Hi I own both the 600/700 and 800/900 Ngx versions no problems up until today when suddenly i tried to use the 600 and i get this activation error. I logged into my accound at PMDG found my activation codes and tried to put them in the activation code box that appears only to find that FSX CTD's .any way of correcting the path it's looking for?? I've logged a ticket ..that could take 2 days and would rather fix it myself if i can. thanks for any help steve

Hi, when starting up with a normal panel state, everything works in the MFDs when startin up from cold and dark, the MFDs are only partially ok. there is no horizontal situation indicator on the left mfd - and the right is acting up too.. please see attached screenshot any ideas? thanks, chris

I've just noticed that every since I did a reinstall of the 737NGX, the whole screen flickers a lot like the problem where your screen refresh rate needs to be changed. But this problem never happens on any other aircraft I own, it didn't happen before the reinstall if I can remember right!

Hi, I've just installed the NGX and the sp1c on my new pc on w7 64bit, it's completely a new thing compared to my old q6600 and xp, but I have a problem with the sounds, I can only hear the engine sounds, no switches or ambience sounds, in fact when I shut down the engines, with the apu up and running, I don't hear anything, I seem to have already read about a similar problem, but I don't remamber if it was on this forum or somewhere else

I'm sure everyone has seen United's 737 with the new Split-Scimitar winglets. Are there any plans to implement these, even just as model extension like the 747-8? It would be really nice to maybe turn them on or off like we can with the SATCOM antenna Dominique V.

[ Starting a new topic, since the previous one went way offtopic ] I am not a pilot in real life and all my understanding of flight comes from a game and… I do have the same issue as the original poster in the other thread :-) In the last couple of months, I have progressed through about 300-400 hours of progressive flying from props to twin engines, turboprops, small jet and a few days ago I started using 737. All of the other aircraft I spent considerable time in (Diamond D4, Beechcraft Duke, Cessna Citation Mustang) I can fly and land without autopilot pretty competently (in my opinion). 737 just gets me every time. When doing "instant replay", after landing and parked at gate, the plane has its last config (speedbrake, flaps, reversers...), and PFD, NAV displays does not move and ground equipment are attatched (see picture). Is there any settings for this, or will this be solved?

Often I think it would be great to be able to watch a replay of a flight and in particular to be able to watch a replay of your landing. However I've noticed when using the built-in feature for this in FSX it doesn't work out that good... First of all the current state of the NGX will be transferred into the replay so for instance if I shut down the engines before looking at the replay (which I normally do since I do all my flying online and also with FS2Crew) the engines will not be running in the replay. Also any ground connections like the GPU will also be visible in the replay which does look rather funny but not exactly what I want. Of course it's easy to fix thi…

I sometimes find it difficult using the "hand" to move between the APP, VOR, MAP and PLN settings in the "CTR" This also applies to the milage range knob (from 5 to 64 miles) next to the "CTR" Is there perhaps a way other than the "hand" to make those changes? Cliff

When I start a flight, and after I takeoff, about 15 minutes after I takeoff I get a fuel imbalance alert on tank number 2, but when I try to correct it it just keeps going at it again, it seems like fuel keeps getting pushed into tank 1 causing the tank 2 imbalance. Why??? I don't know and would REALLY like to find out why this is happening, I have been flying the 737-800 OVER and over again and NEVER had this problem, PLEASE help me, thanks!!!

I try to land the B-737 by hand, ( no A/P,no Autothrottle ) and wonder if anybody can give me some hints as how to do it ? My landings are like a russian roulette,sometimes so so,most of the time failing. ( crashing into the ground or bouncing up into the air again ).My speed shows 138 knots on touchdown,N1 about 55 1) Should I just watch the PFD and make sure the horizontal pink line follows the flight director and make small adjustments ? 2) Should I concentrate on the runway and the forward view ? 3) Other I also noticed that the speedbrakes deploy when touching the rwy but only when I do an autoland . I'm attempting the RNAV approach to 08 at LOWI, Innsbruck beginning at ELMEM as the IAF. When looking at the chart I'm confused about a few things. First of all, the missed approach point is 12,7 nm from the runway. Also, after this point the route is dashed without any clear indication on why, except that the slope changes slightly. When feeding this into the FMC it also presents descent issues. Can someone explain? Thx :smile:

Last night whilst flying into YMML with my NGX setup for ILS app to rwy 27 I was informed by ATC to expect a late clearance, needless to say I got to decision height still he had not given me clearance. I commenced a go around, is this the correct procedure? What should I say to ATC? What I i fact told them wasQantas429 going around. Can someone let me know I would appreciate it regards Wayne Hart.
