HI I am in the process to change my fsx setup and Since I have Aivlasoft EFB I have decided to run the program in a second computer to save computer power for FSX. I am wondering if: LINDA works in a network setup? Am I needing LINDA at all if you have fsuipc but I love LINDA so I will use it for the future...! Best Fredrik

Hello, I'm finding that when I push my assigned buttons, for what I consider to be a short enough time so that it should be counted as only one press, it is being seen as the button being held down and the function assigned to repeat is sent. Either two short presses close apart are being registered as me holding the button down, or the repeat function is kicking in too quickly. Is there any way that the repeat timing can be adjusted? Thanks.

Has anyone been able to get the ALT to work with Flight1 Mustang and the MCP Combo? It seems to work and then it does not.

Hello dear "customers",I have here myself a problem with LINDA and want to ask you you if you see/confirm this too and maybe have a workaround.From time to time I start FSX (with LINDA autostarted) and start a flight, but LINDA is reacting very slow or not.I think I have fiddled out that this is the case when I haven't moved my both Saitek Throttle levers not completelly.If I open LINDA, I can see, that one Saitek throttle is permanently inputting into LINDA, meaning there's permanently a button press generated.What I do then is to move all levers complete all the way down and up (also into the button press position) and then it seems ok.However I have to restart LINDA co…

Just wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I'm having. I've tried searching but haven't been able to find anything that helps. What I find is that after a while the button inputs stop working; I can't link this to a specific key press or command, and it happens with more than one add-on plane. In the tracer I can see that the queue is increasing by one every time I push a button; I can resolve the issue by reloading the LUA engine from LINDA, at which point all the queued commands are executed in sequence. I do not have any VR insight kit. Thanks for any help.

I'm new to LINDA and love it so far but i can't get linda to work on my Citation X i can go into settings and re-assign the trim and what not but that's the only way it will work Any Help would be Appreciated i might be missing Something. Marty

MCP2 Boeing PMDG NGX Ver 1.7 Feb 2012 Start with FSX Error--Access violation at address 0061A1BB in module "linda.exe". Read of address 000001B0. With the "Linda Your Panel!" open, clicking on "Joysticks" brings up the error and the Joysticks panel does not open. Minor problem, I hope.

Hello All. i hope someone can shed some light on the problem i have. I use Ezdok and have programmed some buttons my Saitek yoke for views around the cockpit of the PMDG NGX. Can i use the same buttons Via LINDA to program certain autopilot functions. I have tried this without success. For instance, Button 2 on the yoke will look at the FMC however i also set it via LINDA to disconnect the auto-throttle. When this occurs i get both things happening but my view goes to the FMC. Is there an easy way to use both programs. Kindest Regards Pete

Hi: I cant seem to get linda to perform any inputs on the top right 8 user buttons, it changes in the linda menu but in sim they do not work but everything else works. This is a new boeing mcp2 panel my combo 1 worked perfect I could assing any button to anything I wanted but not now, I unistalled serialport2 as I believe you do not need that with new panel one other thing the older combo panel 1 was on comport 3 if that helps to figure this out - Thanks so much Regards, Rich

Crum, I am a huge fan of LINDA and supporter..! Thanks for what you have done in simplifying controls. I love to tinker always looking for a perfect FSX... LOL, that will never happen :) Question, Is there a way to add custom camera settings that can be added to a particular button? Example, NGX [CameraDefinition.005] Title = "Left Wing Aft" Guid = {af586eaf-0524-4cfd-a199-fee6c911f1ba} Description = View of Left wing aft from the passenger cabin Have it be in a drop down box for NGX and assign it to a certain Button on my yoke? Hi all, The MCP can control the course 'bug' on Nav1 easily enough...change the radial. What about Nav2? Anyone have a way to control course for Nav2? Seems like a natural and common thing to do. Gregg

Hello everybody, I recently bought the above mentioned FCU Combo Airbus from VRinsight (also called MCP2A being the MCP2 Airbus-like instead of the original MCP2 Boeing version). My question is if there is anybody out there who is able to use Linda in any way with it? I can start both components together with FSX but there is no reaction to button presses, rotating the wheels or anything. The displays obviously are resetted but show no change. For example Com1 is shown but will not react to any changes with in FSX (and of course no reaction on the hardware, not even the possibility to swith to ADF, TRAN etc). I actually expected to be able to use any function…

I've just got the Aerosoft Catalina, which incidentally looks like a lot of fun. however, for some reason, it is not being recognised by LINDA and it shows a LUA error in the gui. Also, there was an error message that popped up directly on completion of the Catalina installation, unsure whether it has any relevance. Hi I want to setup some buttons or switches on my Hotas warthog to change the settings on the MCP. Specifically the altitude speed and headings dials on the PMDG 737NGX. Is this possible? I have the registered version of fsuicp I have the latest versin of Linda and the 1.6 737ngx files I cant get anything to assign to any button or at least it says it has done it and i save the file fsx sync but the button assignments dont work in fsx ....nothing. I have attached 3 links to 3 images that show what Linda is doing hopefully this will show any mistakes i am making. I also get this error message in Linda console. I have not been able to pinpoint cause and effect, but when I installed FSUIPC 4.82, LINDA stopped working reliably. LINDA's GUI display could still show the key depressions, and recognise the plane, but the keys would only work for a short while in FSX, or stop working when I changed to another plane. I have reverted to 4.80, tried 4.82 again, now reverted once more to 4.80. 4.80 works perfectly, 4.82 does not.

I'm a new user. I've not got an MCP combo yet, but plan buying one, so I thought I better get to grips with LINDA.... and straight away found a problem. Its probably a school boy error... I must have missed something but I can find it. I use a Saitek Pro flight Yoke with attendant single quadrant. Linda has picked this up OK. When I have FSX and LINDA loaded and sync'd, and I press a button on the yoke, Linda jumps to that button. I can select the command I want using the drop downs, but when I test the button in FSX (yes, I saved the config in Linda first) nowt happens. What am I missing?

Hi,Using Linda for quite a while now, LOVE IT!But now i have a strange problem. Using the VRI-MCP ComboAfter a complete re-install of Win7, FSX and 737 NGX, ans FSUIPC i can`t get Linda back to work. :sad:Everything (the screens) looks normal. When i turn a knob in the cockpit i see the change on the MCP-screen.But turning the ALT alt (e.g.) knob it doesn`t do a thing in the cockpit. It`s one way...so it seems...Tried all i can think of.. :( ..Please help!Thnx in advance.Piet
