LINDA Support

I've been trying to get to fs-linda.com and I keep getting re-directed to http://satway.ru/club/.

Hey Folks Can anyone help me track this error down, see pic? For months and months and months been using Linda no problem, suddenly this happens on start up of FSX. No, I have not added anything recently or made any other changes in the past few months. However, I did get a "fatal error" a few trips ago, which required a restart of FSX. I have pasted across a "new copy" of the linda.exe file to the modules folder, still the problem persists. Any help would be gratefully apprteciated. Regards Stuart

After all the troubleshooting showed that my MCP Combo main board was dead I ordered a replacement. I paid VRinsight Last Wednesday afternoon, got an email from Mr Choi ( Sales Manager in Korea) on Thursday saying that it would be shipped Friday. That was four days ago and I was absolutely stunned when it arrived at my front door here in the United States an hour ago. Now THAT is what great service is all about. VRinsight is a class act in my book. Hope it's ok to post this here but I had to pass it on. Regards to all Neal howard

My new Boeing Combo is working like a charm but the LINDA GUI still displays the earlier version. Is there another GUI that I am missing? I have set up the Combo as the version II but I must use the LINDA Console to see what quite a few buttons/rotaries are doing. Thanks for help Neal H

It arrived late today and tomorrow I will plug it in and get started learning about it. In the meantime it would really help to see how some of you set up the button/knobs/switches (PMDG 737, Duke B60/60T, etc) a screenshot or two would be most helpful (begs) regards Neal H

I just ran across the tutorial in the fsuipc forum and have read it through with interest. My M-Panel used VSPE (licensed 64 bit) although I have forgotten exactly what it was doing. My question now is: With the availability of LINDA is there any advantage to the VSPE setup? My new Combo -Boeing should arrive soon and it would be nice to know more about the ways to really use the device. Hello all, Just begin to use LINDA and it's very handy to use! But I have a question. I can't find the control to increase/decrease the radio frequency in default FSX library. When I use set FSX control (like 65642 and 65643) it didn't work. The other FSX library works well. Could anyone teach me how to fix this?

Asking if Gunter or Artem could help me-- I had this problem a while back then I thought it was 'solved'... and Linda seemed to work just fine in 99% of the time... a day ago I finally got Rex Essential PLUS (the 'latest' version of Rex) and it seems that Linda has become quite erratic again. This requires several restarts during flight. This is not what I am used to - and I am anxious to find out how to work around the problem without having to do 4 of 5 restarts during a one-hour instrument flight in the PMDG 737NGX. I know if I did a very fast horizontal pan with my joystick hat switch, often times LINDA would fail and require a restart. This new behaviour…

I am trying to create a module for an Airbus using the FSX default aircraft as a base to start from as some of the functions work with the Airbus. I have tried the following :- Select NEW module Select Module name from list i.e. Airbus A321 Check the entry Copy from existing, and select FSX default. Select CREATE I am getting the message "specified file was not found" Can anybody help please?

Hi All I have just discovered this most amazing programme. Congratulations to the inventers! I would be grateful to anyone who could please tell me how to assign a command using the shift option. I for some reason can not get the MCP Combo at all. NGX no issues... It recognizes the PMDG 747400 with FSX Syc on. But when I go to change HDG, ALT, SPD, or anything nothing happens. In the display it reads the wrong ALT as well. Any help would be great... Thanks...!

OK, I used the tracer function in LINDA, in the left column under LVARS I have this G1000ComPushPFD, I toglle the value from 0 to 1 and it works. So how do I add it to the F1 Mustang list assign a button press in LINDA to it? Thanks Rob

I have jet already a few failed attempts behind myself to get covered my Ifly737 in "LINDA"! If somebody can write to me a tap dance by tap dance instructions, how I to programm me my Multipanels (USB-Pads) of VRINSIGHT with the different functions and orders of the Ifly737 can program and book?!! Hello, really stuck as to why I cant get the my VR MCP combo 1 to work with Linda, at the moment only the COM functions work and the CRS rotary with the default Cessna in FSX. i have read and reread both the manual and the detailed manual by Brian747. and did the following install method: FSX and Fsuipc (v: 4.853), removed the VR, GUA and LUA headings from the FSuipc ini file. Using the default FSX LINDA profile gave the usual: Lights-ok, AP/HDG/ALT/App/etc all ok. Unfortunately, none of the GPS buttons or knobs worked. During the flight I clicked the GPS pop-up and by force of habit turned the Range knob. The Range changed! In fact, while in Pop-up mode all the MCP Combo GPS buttons worked also. What a treat....I hate using the mouse cursor in flight and this cuts its use by about 50%. Just passing this along in case some other MILVIZ Beech flyer hasn't stumbled across this one. I'm giving LINDA a test drive for the first time. On thing I am trying to accomplish is to track down the LVars that are being read or written when certain add on aircraft custom code is running. In the specific case I am investigating at the moment I am trying to see the LVars being read and written when I press the Master Caution or Master Warning reset switches on my Carenado King Air C90. I activated the LINDA Console and in the Console options checked everything. I then went to the aircraft cockpit and clicked those buttons. Hello! I Installed Linda 1.11 with the PMDG 737 NGX Module V. 1.8. Program Setup as described in the manual: Configuration Checklist: Joystick: everything is ok, VRInsight MCP Combo: everything is ok, FSX/FSUIPC configs: everything is ok. Then I configuered the joystick: Works fine. For the combo I use the standard. The MCP Combo II panel doesn't work. As in the forum described I have the "Project Magenta" entries deleted in Folders LINDA and LINDA-CFG. I also have reassigned a button of the MCP in LINDA; no result. When i turn a knob (f.e. "Heading)" with the mouse in the Flight Sim, the display on the MCP Combo II changes also, but no knob or button is work…

for using VRInsight MCP Combo and LINDA? I want one really good twin (piston) and one jet that have LINDA modules that really cover the key switches, buttons, etc. After trying to make my own module using LINDA's Tracer it is obvious that my talent is not up to that. It appears that the PMDG 737 is the top jet. (?) Dunno what to look at as the twin piston choice. Single engines aren't too bad...most use lots of FSX default inputs, but beyond that I am not really getting much value from the Combo Any input appreciated. Neal H

I have recently found a problem, however, which I have not been able to solve so far and that might be related to the linda.lua file. Hi to all I am very new to Linda . My issue is vhen trying to use Linda with PMDG 747 Via GF mcp pro I can not see MCP as plug in there for any function when press on gf mcp will not respond to internal VC . Dear friends, I have registered FSUIPC 4.858, PMDG 737NGX SP1c, Windows 7 Pro SP1 and I'm using LINDA 1.11 with PMDG module 1.8 to configure my Saitek X52 Pro with latest drivers installed. The issue is that when entering FSX SP2 and loading PMDG 737-800WL, the LINDA console loaded the aircraft module Project Magenta not PMDG then of course no Saitek assignments worked properly. The only way to get rid of the problem was to delete Project Magenta folders in LINDA directories under FSX Modules folders. Do you know why this happen and where are located the issue (LINDA or FSUIPC) ? Best Regards, Adenilson

Hi All, Re: FS9 First post in the Linda forum - a repeat of one I posted elsewhere... Can Linda help me with turboprop conditioner levers ? I've been playing around with it and the only "key" sequence I can get to affect the condition levers are [ctrl shft f1] and [ctrl shft f4] none of the other mixture commands or mapped axis seem to work... When I do use the aforementioned key strokes it adjusts BOTH condition levers - and - its - all on - or - all off... I have some planes with three condition lever settings - off - low idle - high idle...
