LINDA Support

Hallo zusammen, habe seit einigen Tagen diese Meldung beim Starten von Linda "Invalid pointer Operation" und die Saitek Produkte, wie Rudder Yoke und TQ sind nicht mehr da. Starte ich Linda aber als Admin und nicht vom FSX funktioniert es ohne Probleme. Ich habe ne neuinstallation von LINDA und FSUIPC versucht, leider ergab es keinen erfolg, ebenso habe ich die FSX,CFG erneuert. Alles ohne erfolg. Dinge die hier im Forum beschrieben wurden als lösung habe ich schon probiert und nix hilft. Gruss

Hello guys, I'm experiencing some issues with LINDA and the PMDG777 currently. :( I get the following messages from the LINDA console: [E] LUA.2: ---> ERROR:: MCP configs not found for current aircraft! [E] *** LUA Error: D:\FSX\modules\linda/system/common.lua:9: attempt to index local 'actions' (a nil value) I have the PMDG777 module installed and "active" in LINDA. My FSUIPC version is 4.926 and is "looking good". I have no problems using it with the Aerosoft Airbus Extended. I had P3D v2 installed a week ago, but reverted back to FSX, so I did a complete new FSX and LINDA installation. (It worked with the 777 and FSX in the time before I tried P3D)…

Well with all these aircraft builders busting the codes and going custom coding. A pile of my Go Flight switches and auto pilot don't work any more - I noticed it with the both Dukes and I just bought the Aerosoft Twin Otter and the same with that . Any way unless I can get some one on Team peak or some thing to go through it step by step with me and not even gonna try cause sure as heck when I'm dine nothing will work .

Hi all, after Prepar3D V2 installation I copied my folder Modules from FSX to the main folder of Prepar3D v2. When I started Prepar3D the Linda GUI did not start automatically as it did in FSX. To solve this I placed a file exe.xml in the folder C:\Users\my name\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 Now Linda Gui starts when Prepar3d is started. Do you know another solution? Hallo LINDA Freunde, habe da mal wieder ein Problem, versuche es hoffentlich verständlich zu formulieren... Also: Vor einigen Tagen ist meine SSD Platte in die ewigen digitalen Jagdgründe eingegangen... Neue Platte eingebaut usw.usw. LINDA incl. ARCAZE läuft, alle Schalter und Taster funktionieren korrekt. Das Problem ist die lua Datei für den AXE ?! Greetings I would first like to thank LINDA for the excellent integration of the MCP Combo II. I would also like to thank the author for the Airbus X plugin. I have a question. I'm sure it's something I have overlooked, but I can't seem to change the heading using the Combo unit. All of the other controls appear to be working as expected, but when I turn the heading dial, nothing happens. It's not the dial. I can change headings on other aircraft. I can change the heading onscreen using the mouse. If it is something terribly obvious, please accept my apologies along with my thanks. Best of the season to everyone. Graham

Hi, I just downloaded Linda yesterday to use with the A2A 172. Excellent software, but I had a question. I have checked the option to have Linda start when FSX does but I notice that when I shut FSX down Linda doesn't stop. Shouldn't it? Is there something I'm missing? Mark

Hallo Günter, ich hätte da gern mal ein Problem, Die Local Shift Funktion schaltet meine Joystickzuordnungen permanent auf Shifted, Erst ein Reload Lua engine bringt die normalen Einstellungen zurück. Gleiches trifft auch auf die Global Shift zu. Habe unter "On Press" für einen Joystickbutton Local Shift zugeordnet (müsste das nicht schon unter On Repeat gehören?) Hello, where can i set up the time until linda automatically Switches back after selecting another mode? I mean after pressing one of the mode toogle Buttons "VRI EFIS MODE toggle" as example. After pressing the button it takes a while and the Comes in the Display a message like M211 or sometuing up and then it Switches back to the normal mode. Also what means the message Mxxx something? Greetings I am working with the Boeing MCP Combo II I just bought. As a test, I set up the default FSX Cessna 172. First of all, I am impressed with the unit. Secondly, I must say the LINDA interface is the icing on the cake. I set up auto pilot controls. The problem is, when I change the altitude, vs, etc quickly; the combo changes, but the ap panel in the sim lags behind. I looked, but could not find an entry in either the default FSX library or FSX controls for a command to inc/dec the values fast. This exists for other aircraft. I started digging and found that Pete Dowson had added a number of new controls in FSUIPC 4. They are 4 digit controls (1000-3000). …

Hello, i have the VrINsight MCP v1 and want to know what to do with the "Show B" assignmendt? I can eaysy assign somethin to the Show A Section of e.g. the MINS Knob. But how is the Show B Section to handle and when is this Funktion called? Do i miss any Switch or something? I did also not found anything in the Manual? Thanks Matthias

I tried to use a copy of the Linda Duke 60 Turbine Module for the new Duke 60 V2. After looking in the monitor I found that the Duke uses the values 0, 0.5 and 1 with the variable RECIP ENG COWL FLAP POSITION1Ant and RECIP ENG COWL FLAP POSITION2Ant for the cowl flaps positions CLOSE, HALF and OPEN. I modified the lua file with the new values but there is no reaction when I use my buttons with the defined action. I also tried the variables with underscore instead of space. Greetings I am a LINDA user. Thank you. I am wondering if there is a way to use the WideFs button screen in LINDA. Is there a way to recognize that. Two weeks ago, I had heard of LINDA but had no clue what it was. I then purchased the VRInsight MCP II and have since come to realize the brilliance of LINDA. The behind the scenes work is awesome but what really makes it shine is the user interface. Now the dumb question. I can't figure out why the profiles I have downloaded for the NGX, 777, Q400, etc. are not setup with the corresponding PMDG or Dash settings and its left to the user. Now I understand that each of us will have different preferences but the basic setup would be the same for all of us. Seems like we are all duplicating effort to get the EFIS and MCP working like the addon aircraft intended. May…

Hi Guys n Gals, I'm hoping this has not been asked here before but I've read all sorts over the last few days on leo bodnars BU0836X card and CTS288 encoders. So here's the issue i think the polling interval is too slow on fsuipc to read my encoders at speed so its missing pulses. If i turn the encoder slowly it will change the course 1 degree at a time no problems however if i need to do a 100 degree turn it takes ages and when turning the dial faster it misses too. I have the encoder set to 1:1 and configured each encoder for the 737NGX alt inc/alt dec however nothing i seem to do improves the response of this encoder. Hello! I have just installed everything..and created the Modules folder where I just copy all the linda stuff from my FSX install.. Nothing happens. Also installed FSUIPC latest version, and appears in menu in P3D v2 but cannot access the setup menu.. Is it maybe that what is happening to not let Linda manage the MCP combo 2? Thanks!

I don't know how to solve my problem. Information: New PC with SSD disk and harddisk; FSUIPC 4.853 with registration; MCP panel VrInsight 1 (orig); Windows 8.0 64Bits; PMDG B737-800 NGX; Linda 1.11. Hello Lua and Linda experts, i have a problem with the VRinsigt MCP Combo 1 and the A320 FMGS software from jeehell. The programmer of the jeehell A320 cockpit software has created a lua actions file to connect the MCP combo to the jeehell A320 software. In Linda i have created an aircraft profil with this actions file as base. Then i have configured the HDG rotary and 2 keys for switching the QNH between mb/inhg for testing. If i start up the FSX and Linda there is no sync between the FCU displays from the jeehell software and the MCP displays. The same with the key´s they do not work. Just setting up the MCP II and noticed the mode options, just wondering how you flip between modes ? Also, on my MCP I have a button on the radio panel under and to the left the COMM/NAV change rotary dial but LINDA shows it as a flip switch and I can't seem to highlight that button to assign something to it. I have some Problems with Linda Version 1.13 When it starts there is a small window with title "LINDA" and the error message "Invalid pointer operation" There are no Joysticks / HID devices visible in the Summary and in the Joysticks page. It worked fine 2 Weeks ago, no idea what is the reason for this.
