LINDA Support

I had everything working fine and build custom profiles for all my aircraft using version 1.13 (the latest version 1). After upgrading to version 2 nothing works in any of my aircraft. I checked backed up and double checked the profiles and they seem OK but none of the buttons or dials work. Can someone outline the upgrade procedure, I am guessing I missed something. Note that I own the VrInsight MCP II Boeing. thanks,

I am pretty satisfied with the TARGET software that comes with the Warthog HOTAS to program axis. I do not need FSUIPC. It however just allows programming keys of the FSX/P3D set, not undocumented aircraft functions. So I am interested by LINDA. I've read a little bit but need the question in the topic to be clairified before embarking in the installation process. Do I really need FSUIPC and then give up on LINDA or can I keep in the .name_of_my_aircraft.xml the axis I've already have programmed ? I hope my question makes sense :smile: ! Thanks !

Hello friends, I installed an Airbus combo, everything is working correctly except for the VVS Knop?! There is no feedback to the Panel Combo, for example +/- 1800, in the cockpit I see the value, the Airbus executes the command all is ok. Only in the Combo Panel i see: VVS ? - - - - At LINDA : VVS Knob Show: VVS Knob Is this a wrong value? Best regards Airbusheinz

This is strange. First the 777 module stopped working, by that I mean everything works on the Linda configuration screen perfectly but nothing works in the simulator. And then after a few weeks the 737 module does exactly the same thing, it works in Linda perfect but not in the 737 itself anymore The only other aircraft I have in Linda is the F1 mustang and that works fine in the simulator. There have been posts from others with the same problem ( me as well) but there have been no answers from the DEV. question 1. should I just delete Linda and start again? 2. Infatuated with A2As B-17, I borrowed a Saitek yoke and stowed the Warthog stick/throttle I've used for a couple of years. Discovered I have a lot fewer buttons and switches without the HOTAS (duh), so I reconnected two Cougar MFDs and found, in the process, that FSUIPC doesn't talk to the three Saitek panels I use (thank you sweet wife). So I installed LINDA 1.13 by copying all the files into the FSX modules folder (after backing it up), and cut the stuff out of the FSUIPC4.ini and FSX controls file as directed. I have been using this beauty for years without problems and now the following happens. Hardware connected: Saitek Yoke, Saitek Quadrant and VRinsight TT panel. Linda Settings page indicates that all are recognized and ok. When I open Linda in joystick mode, the screen shows the Quadrant page. When I move to the TT panel page to assign a button, the screens jumps back to the Quadrant page before I could do anything. The same happens when I try to make an assignment on the Yoke page. The screen jumps back to the Quadrant page almost immediately. I have deleted and re-installed Linda, same with Yoke, Quadrant and TT panel. Makes no difference. Yo…

Just installed LINDA V2.0.7 but every time I try to run it I get the above error, and then no joysticks are visible in the joystick window. I have tried removing and re-installing the drivers for all my devices using usbdeview as read on another thread here with no effect.. They are all visible as HID devices in Device Manager, and to FSUIPC, but not to LINDA. System use Win 7-64bit, LINDA set to run as admin. Any suggestions please?.

hi have been testing linda with the mcp 2 boeing type in p3d v2.3 . Have found that the transponder is not working . display is not updating when you change numbers in the sim and when you use the mcp to change the nubers nothing happens in the sim. have tested this with the beechcraft as well as i have imported the crj 700 from fsx and nothing works . if i run vrisim all works ok.

I'm doing my first steps with LINDA, so I've a very reduced knowledge about the way to do some things. I've a Saitek Proflight Yoke, that has 3 Modes for programming the switches and buttons, so everyone of them has 3 possibilities. I don't know if I can make LINDA assignements in any of the Modes, but if it is possible I've had not found the way to do so. Any help about this ?

Hi guys All my Linda settings have disappeared. I now only have blank screens where the controller settings were. It also no longer recognizes my joystick/throttles There was an error message , something like "controller pointer not recognized"?? The only thing I did was install a touch screen. As a dedicated Airbus flight simulator flyer (X-Plane JAR Design A320neo and FSX Aerosoft Extended X Airbus A320/A321), after some research, I ordered the MCP Combo Airbus FCU version. Hey there, I am using LINDA (v2) and FSUIPC (v4936a) together now for several months and I am simply impressed about the features coming with it. Great job! Furthermore I configured my VRS F18 Superbug and just installed the new version 1.4.1.7. As I missed some updates, I ran straightly from 1.2 to 1.4 and am enjoying a whole new airplane - literally. Amazing! However, my previous mappings don't work anymore and the commands mapped within LINDA are kind of not accepted anymore and some mappings are fowarded to FSX (SP2, no AccPack) with a significant delay of up to several seconds. Has anyone been able to use the MCP Combo with the Reality XP gauges?

Suddenly, my MCP Combo (standard version, not Boeing) will not work. All the lights are on, the two screens show the proper info, LINDA reports EVERYTHING o.k., looking good etc. I can assign buttons and knobs with LINDA and they are saved. So far I have: *Switched the MCP Combo to different ports on my PC *Moved the Combo to an external, powered hub *Changed from USB power to External Power *Shut down and restarted FSX and LINDA *Restarted the PC *Tested with default and add-on aircraft ALL failed. Hi guys I have set up the Saitek Multipanel autopilot for the B737 NGX. When I have the AutoPilot on and change alt,speed, or any other selection on the MuliPanel non of the displays on the panel work. The settings are changing in the game but the panel led displays are frozen and do not change. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx, Tom

I have had a very stable system and been getting good results flying the Ifly 737 with the MCP Combo 2 for some time. I normally take off with autopilot heading selected and switch to lnav at 1000' approx. and everyting works OK. Today I have tried to set up the aircraft to take off and track a VOR course. I dial in the VOR freq. and then set the course with the MCP course knob but the course reading just runs away with itself and cannot be stopped. If I set the course with the mouse on the course knob on the screen everything is OK.Anybody any ideas? Richard Halton
