LINDA Support

Hi Guys I just purchased the VRinsight MCP Combo II Boeing. I was using Linda before with the Saitek panels, Switch,Radio & Multi. Everthing worked with the Saitek Panels using Linda. I hooked up the new MCP panel, but did not install the VRinsight software. I used Linda, for the MCP2 setup and all appeared well. Linda recognized the MCP panel and correct Comm port. I selected the reload lua selection and the MCP panel came to life indicating display items such as com1, hdg, alt, vs. I can press any button but nothing happens and none of the selections change. Is there something else I should do???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx, Tom

Hi, I just tried to upgrade my installation of LINDA from 1.13 to 2.0. In 2.0 I was getting CTDs when I moved my mouse over the window. Visually, it looked like the knob on the far right of the unit was moved in the GUI when I got the CTD. Not sure what was causing it. Gregg EDIT: Actually, it was an access violation...the GUI continued to run. Just that, when I'd move my mouse over the GUI again it would give the error again and again.

After some experimenting I have LINDA working with my PMDG 737-NGX and my EFIS connected to the Leo Bodnar BU0836X card. Everthing is working fine except for an annoying issue with the BARO IN/HPA selector. When I move the encoder (EMLA E37) very slowly, the selector works without issues. However, if I move it clockwise clockwise a bit faster, the HPA is selected but the View Change is also executed. When I move it counterclockwise, the IN is selected but the Parking Brake is engaged or disengaged. I don't have this issue with the MINS switch. Could this be something where LINDA executes the commands correctly but something else is triggering the FSX Control? Than…

I used to use Linda with FSX. Now I'm using P3D and have forgotten how to get rid of the errors... 1. Device Disabled! COM port not set! I don't use VRInsight hardware and only want to progamme my TM Warthog and Saitek Quadrant via Linda. 2. Every time I save a new command for the MJC Q400, I see the following error in the Linda console, why? This file does not exist, I haven't renamed it as I don't own any MCP hardware. I am a HUGE fan of Linda, and in the past, Linda got along just great with VRInsight's VRiSim software and Serial Port drivers. However since getting the latest and greatest from VRinsight website, all of a sudden, Linda stops working (the key assignments on my WARTHOG throttle stop functioning! Puzzle: 1. I am attempting to create separate modules for the Mil & Civ versions of the A2A P-51. It seems that things get really confused and start pulling from default FSX for some controls and from the civilian for other controls and from the military for other controls. I have made all the adjustments for my civilian P-51 and the module is calling to the WoP3_P51D folder but should be calling to the WoP3_P51D_civ folder. Greetings I have migrated to Prepar3D. I won't be returning to FSX and so would appreciate getting this little issue solved. Hello Could anyone tell me if it is possible to disable the timer when using the mode switching function on the MCP Combo Panel from VRInsight please? I would like to switch the mode (using the 6, 7 and 8 keys in the user programmable buttons section) and not have it switch back to the 1st mode at all unless I select it with those keys again. I am using LINDA perfectly well with the VRinsight MCP and GoFlight Yoke and TQ6. However, I have just had problems getting the GF LGT II to install - this is not a game controller but a USB HID. When I remove LINDA temporarily (renaming the Linda.config folder) the LGT II installs correctly and works as advertised. This topic does not seem to have come up before. Can anyone please give me a steer in the right direction ? Thanks Chris

Just have to start by saying how impressed I am with LINDA. I have just built my first subpanel for my 737 overhead, it is the pressure panel and am having a very small issue. When I set BLEED AIR 2 toggle on/off the sim responds correctly (switch set to on position, BLEED AIR is on, set switch of to off position, BLEED AIR goes off), however, when I set the same for BLEED AIR 1, my switch cycles between on and off only when I have the switch pressed up. In other words, if I want to switch BLEED AIR 1 on, I have to cycle the switch twice to get it to the on position. I went into FSUIPC and set the switch here instead and the same thing happens. Hi guys I have been programming the autopilot on the B737 NGX and all the functions Hdg,Nav,Ias, Etc. wook ok but I can' t keep the Autopilot CMD button on. It lights up when I press it then goes out as soon as I release it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx, Tom

Hi guys I have set up the Saitek Multipanel autopilot for the B737 NGX. When I have the AutoPilot on and change alt,speed, or any other selection on the MuliPanel non of the displays on the panel work. The settings are changing in the game but the panel led displays are frozen and do not change. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx, Tom

Hi. I have just reinstalled FSX after doing a clean PC format. Anyway i backed up the whole folder of FSUIPC previously. I assigned buttons for PMDG 737NGX and 777. I was wondering which file exactly i need to copy over so that i don't have to assign buttons again. Would appreciate any help. Thanks Swadeep

Hi I tried finding the solution for the issue described below but did not find any solution/ topic on this issue pls help me I am using Linda since one month and assigned the keys to various aircraft's successfully but when i am doing the assignment with PMDG 777 it gives me the error " "[E] *** LUA Error: cannot open linda-cfg/aircrafts/PMDG 777/config-mcp.lua: No such file or directory" After this no button works and i have to restart the fsx then it works fine when i start fsx again and all the keys i have assigned works as well some times this error comes up after one assignment some time after 2 and some times after 3 but all these a…
