LINDA Support

Hello, I would like to know if installing the module LINDA for pmdg777, the configuration of FSUIPC is modified.I did.'t want to lose my fsuipc config for pmdg777. Best regards Ugo

I am not sure this is a LINDA problem, but its driving me nuts. I have a button on one of my Saitek Quadrants assigned to a keypress Ctrl+W through LINDA (JS41 profile). When I press this button the condition levers are moved full forward and the Weather radar is turned on. Only the latter action is desirable. This does not happen when i press Ctrl+W on my keyboard. Then only the Weather radar is turned on. The Saitek button is not assigned to anything in FSX and I have also checked the Controls.xml file. Neither is this button activated through FSUIPC. Any ideas?

Hi I have just tried setting up my new MCP2 panel with LINDA with no joy LINDA has been handling my yoke for several weeks and is working fine. I have attached my panel, followed the install instructions (VRiSim then MCP panel installer). I have followed the LINDA instructions (COM3, etc) and LINDA reports all is OK. When I start FSX (or hit "Reload LUA Engine" my panel reachs, displays "LINDA Init..." and then says "ready" The problem is ' there is no further interaction between the panel and LINDA, the LINDA UI does not respond when I press panel buttons, the panel has not updated the mode labels and the panel buttons do not affect the aircraft as per th…

Hello, Did the Saitek radio panel can be used on My PMDG with LINDA and FSUIPC ? Thank you Regards

1st- Is it possible to cycle down in the ATC window with the hat then press a button to make a selection? As opposed to using 1-9 I have had no luck googling this idea. 2nd- I went thru my Standard.xml and removed all of the <entry> and <POV> tags but it seems FSX loves to put them back when I start it up. Note I have not setup my Axis in FSUIP yet if that matters.

Unfortunately, I've had to re-install FSX and am in the process of adding programs back. I've installed FSX in a non-default location and my question is how do I tell Linda where to look for it? (LINDA is still looking in the default location when I try to connect MCP Combo II) Thanks! Phil

Instead of a steady reading of Barometric pressure The Combo flashes the Left and Right OIL TEMPS continuously. I can still set the altimeter but the instant I finish the flashing temps start again. On the top line of the window there is a quick "info" flash then temps on the second line like shown below *info Temp L xxC Temp R yyC I reloaded Linda, searched every button, switch, and dial but cannot find any script for this. Finally, I re-downloaded and replaced the B60T module in use (Both the same version). No change. Then I loaded the FSX Default module and STILL have the temps flashing. Hi , for 3 days I'm struggling with trying to connect my new MCP Combo 2 LINDA Boeing 767-300 Level D but everything has been useless . I followed the installation instructions LINDA 1.03 , I have the paid version FSUIPC4 , FSX and Level D with the last update. This is my error: FSX Cargo and opens LINDA, when the flight is loaded MCP Combo II communicates perfectly with FSX and the Level D , but the altitude that I get on the display of MCP II is the height of land , ( Example : If I am in an airport with 1,800 feet, this is the height that I appear in the display and the height concide not shown in the Level D which can be 10,000 feet). I assigned my new A320 Homecockpit with Linda, and everything works perfect. But with the Saitek Throttles, when I use a switch f.e. to Arm the Spoiler, the Cooling Sound in the Cockpit gets very silent and slowly gets louder again. I do Not know, how Linda can change the Sound level.

Hi Guenther, I've started to use LINDA's console capabilities to find the functions that PMDG's 777 uses for the CDU buttons (of course). You told me at the time for the 737 NGX CDU that I would need to find the FSX controls as well as the LVars. So I did, and I've got that working very well as you know. But now with the PMDG 777 I'm a bit stuck : I have found the LVars that are addressed by two of the CDU buttons (sofar, just for testing). When I press these CDU buttons with the mouse, the LINDA console shows the LVars being written to but I can't see an FSX control being written as well. Hi guys. I have built myself a B737 TQ which i use to Fly Boeing. Before i found Linda, I programmed via FSUIPC and FSX only. I did not know about Linda at all.... I hve a question here...or really a lot of questions. From my TQ I use Leo Bodnars BU0836X card connected to my PC via USB. When i activate buttons on my TQ now, I get the problem that the very same button is activated by two or more buttons. What can I do to make Linda see the difference via the card? example: A/T disengage and Reverse increase is same, also A/T disengage and NGX AP TOGA NGX eng1 and 2 is same, even if they are not on the card. This is confusing. Any suggestions ?

Hello, i have a question regarding an fsuipc Offset Change by another program: Prosim737 I have an fsuipc Offset which is changed by another Programm. Now i want to know how i can have a automatic reaction in Linda to Display this value? It is the Offset to Change the SPD Dispay. Means Prosim changes the Offset 0x66F4 and writes the actual SPD selected in the Prosim737 MCP. Now i want that the SPD Display in the VRinsight MCP1 also changes. How can i do that? I think i am searching for an Position which is a Loop or something ... Matthias

Hi there, I'm using the vrinsight MCP combo with Linda using ifly 737 pro After tuning the correct frequencies for my ILS approach I turn the crs knob to set the runway app course. This is wonderfully depicted on the vrinsight MCP LCD panel readout. I know its possible to select another mode and use the same crs hardware knob to alter the FO crs bearing but is it possible to have the crs readout visible on the LCD panel for the FO s heading. Dear hunting friends, As Gunther recenlty released a profile for the Maddog (version 0.9) I decided to start working on this profile. Some things are clear to me and some are absolutely not...I was able to add a function for the TOGA buttons :lol: , but I'm stuck now with some basic issues :huh: .....the main issue for the moment is that I do not understand the XXXX and YYYY codes in the command icp.control (XXXXX, YYYYY). The XXXX is a FSX control and YYYY is an argument to set the control to. In most cases however I see XXXX values which are higher than the well known standard FSX controls numbers from Pete Dowson. The YYYY can be simple 10, 0 or 50 but also …

I have tried searching this forum, looking through LINDA and FSUIPC documents, but I have not found anything yet. To give a specific example: For a payware aircraft I have created a LINDA module. Among the many commands are a Shut/Full command for each fuel lever. Now I want to assign these commands for two levers on my Saitek Quadrant using FSUIPC axis assigment with button control. In the setup I can see there are many options to call LINDA like 'lua linda' with a parameter, but I have no idea what this parameter should be? Is it at all possible to relate axis assigment button control in FSUIPC directly to created LINDA commands?

Hi I am wanting to use linda to program my vrinsight Button and switch module as well as other switch panels. I am a novice with linda. If I label the buttons and switches for For the twin otter for example, what hapens when I switch To another aircraft. Are those labels that I made no good With new aircraft or am I restricted to programming only those Buttons and switches that are common to both. Thx Lee

Hello together, I am new in this forum and I hope anybody can help me. I recently bought the MCP Combo II and installed the drivers coming wiht VRinsight. Erverything worked well, including the 737 NGX. But the functionallity LINDA is offering is great. So I installed LINDA Version 1.12 and then I had (and still have) some trouble: - FSX standard planes like Boeing 737-800 with the Project Magenta config workes well - PMDG 737 NGX with the newest config file does not work well. Can LINDA support two separate Saitek Quadrants? And I do not include the Quadrant that comes with the Saitek Yoke.
