Hi, anyone can help me how to assign Nose steering to Linda for NGX? I have assign most of button action for NGX but I don't know what button number Saitek X52 Slider and Rotary have.. here's the pics.. that button number goes up to number 34 but this 'H' button didn't respond to any button I pressed.. I suspect the H button is Slider or Rotary, but I don't have a clue about what rotary and what slider they belong to...

Hi Guys this is my first time with Linda, so be easy. I've read the manual Hmm, not good. I map the keys in Linda via the PMDG 777 profile, but nothing happens Also get this error: LUA Error: C:\fsx\modules\linda/system/handlers-hid.lua:83: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) LUA Error: cannot open linda-cfg/aircrafts/PMDG 777/config-mcp.lua: No such file or directory I think I will need some TLC to get this to work I have the Saitek Hardware Yoke 2* Throttle Quads Trim Wheel Rudder pedals thanks Clive

hello i am looking for the settings macro for my Vrinsight Combo 1 I did read the Linda manual but English is not my native language i dont understand how to cope with it. i would be nice if soomebody can share his settings? Thanks for teh reply. Dick

Hello installed module 0.2 the latest and i have the Vr Insight MCP 1 but the heading, speed buttons not working Only the fd switch works. Hope somebody can help. dick

Firstly it appears the linda is an amazing tool to use with my mcp combo ii. It seems to be there is a profile specific to use my mcp combo II with my PMDG MD-11. can anyone tell how to import this profiles in my linda software. Or how i can choose the PMDG MD-11 profile to fly by my mcp combo ii in this aircraft.

Hello Some time ago I dabbled with Linda then decided it was a bit beyond me and decided to stop dabbling and get on with flying. Since that time I have a splash message that shows at the start of each session that I would like to get rid of. The message is LUA Display - VRi MCP Combo is ENABLED but not found on Port COM0 How do I get rid of this message? It doesn't detract from the playability just annoys. Thanks

Greetings I was very pleased to learn that LINDA supports the MCP II Boeing. I do not plan to buy the Airbus model as well. I have two questions: -does LINDA configure the MCP II Boeing to control Airbus X? If not, is there a post identifying the configuration steps? -I notice on the Combo that there is no course knob as would be the case on a standard Boeing MCP. Hello i installed Linda and copy the files in the ,,Modules'' file....than i start LINDA and LINDA says that FSUIPC,COM PORT and so on is ok...but the problem is when i start the fsx i cant use my MCP because it dosen't work with the FSX :cray:

First of all, LINDA is just brilliant and user friendly. I really having lots of joy using it especially I'm totally no clue dealing with the lua code. I would like to know if there any method to let the knobs rotate faster? Currently all the knob I assigned in FSX default, the rotation rate is a bit slow. I'm not referring to the response time here, the response time is ok.

Hi, How can i synchronize LINDA with fsx when it starts up? e.g- Default state of NGX battery switch is OFF and when i start the sim the button setted in LINDA is in ON position. I the aircraft to set the switch in its correct position. Couldn't find it in the manuel... Thanks

Hi, Can anyone confirm my suspicion; ....that LINDA is not able to assign a keyboard command to a function within a Linda profile? I know it is possible to assign a key event to a button press.... .....buy what I wanted to do was assign a key command to an actual function. With LUA scripts, we could import them into 'Modules' then assign either keyboard events, or button presses ............ but LINDA only seems interested in taking a hardware button press and assigning it to a function. :( Is this correct? Is there any possibility the ability to assign key commands (as well as button presses), could be added in the future?

Hello, I have one problem with LINDA. I am building some hardware on MJ-16 joystick card (just generic joystick card with 8 potentiometers, 64 buttons, 16 switches, 4 rotary encoders and 1 position hat). I have connected some buttons to this board and I see them in Windows hardware management working. But in LINDA they just do nothing. When I am pressing buttons on my old cheap joystick LINDA recognises the button which has just been pressed and highlights it - but not on my joystick card buttons. Is this some known bug or something I can solve? Note that I have not connected any potentiometers to the board, just buttons - so there is no signal on 8 analog axis which…

I am a new user to this great application :good: I have problems assigning buttons for GSX and FS Captain to LINDA and these buttons are not activating in FSX ? The GSX button is Ctrl+Shift+9. The FS Captain button is Ctrl+Shift+6. All other assigned buttons works fine.

With Linda loaded and the PMDG 737NGX at the ramp. none of the switches assigned work. All works fine with default FSX aircraft. Looking at the Linda Console, it gives no errors, but I did notice that Linda was loading the Project Magenta Module instead of the PMDG 737 NGX one. There is no double assignement (checked, checked and double checked). If I assign function in the default FSX aircraft Module, it shows up in the Linda Console when the swich is flipped. But when I remove the assignment in the Default aircraft Module, and assign it in the PMDG Module, nothing happens. For some reason my PFC Yoke is grayed out in Linda. It says everything is OK on the LINDA settings screen and it is listed there along with my throttle hardware. I can bring up my throttle config screen but the yoke stays grayed out. Any ideas? Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

I understand what LINDA does in general. Have a couple quick questions about our and hope someone can answer them for me. I have just purchased the VRi MCP2. Now as I understand it (feel free to correct me) , it comes with a default VRi NGX profile that you can use with it. Or you instead can use the LINDA program which also includes a default NGX module v1.9 that you can use with it? So my first question is if using LINDA, I presume you don't even need to download the VRi NGX module? Second part is, I have not even placed any buttons on the MCP2 yet. Hello, Before Linda worked very well with all the planes, but the last few days, I have no error message in the console but the buttons in my MCP Combo no longer interact. However, it works if I run the utility VRinsight. I installed the most recent version of FSUPC, I thought the problem came from and I went back to the version 4.85. VRinsight is on port 3 in FSUIPC.ini. I checked the documentation and your forum but I have not found a solution. Do you have any idea about this problem. Thank you to advance.

Im not sure what im doing wrong here, I recently purchased the Ifly 737 and downloaded LINDA, After I got it set up and loaded the Ifly module in Linda I got some but not all controls. Mainly I get a few encoders working on the ap and thats it, ie. heading speed and alt knob. But nothing else works.. FSUIPC is latest version and the LINDA setup checks out allright I take it there is an updated module but not sure what one I need. I have not updated Ifly or LINDA as of yet. Any help would be apprciated Scott

Hi Very often I recognices that LINDA "disconnects" from the VTI MCP Panel so that I have to RELOAD LUA ENGINE. I have Linda Vers. 1.11 and the latest FSUIPC 4.90 registered version. Is there anything what I can do the the connection becomes stable? Kind Regards Tom

Hi fellas, can someone please suggest what I am doing wrong. I have the NGX module which is dropped into the relevent LINDA folder and works a dream, but when I try to do the same with the Catalina and Dornier DO-27, there appears to not be any list of assignments showing when I try to assign buttons on the Warthog, or with anything else for that matter. Help as always appreciated, cheers...
