Bonjour, I created in : data\presets : for example the file 'q400', I created 3 buttons, I save. I close linda. I return to the data \ folder presets, -Is this normal, and if so what is the point of having preset files if they d'ont record trimmings buttons? 1 / If I open in notepad, config-mcp2.lua, lines created in the original file 'q400' they are there. But if I open 'linda.exe' there frontline --presets -- which displays the created buttons ok! But if I open again file 'Q400', present in the drop down menu, then it is empty ! Bonsoir, I'm a little mad, Because I lost all assignments of my buttons. actually by mistake I selected an empty preset 'and he was impossiblede recover assignments. I tried to revert to backup file: config-mcp2.lua by copying the lines on a new file 'named q400' sauvegrdé ds and the / preset But when I 'opens the q400 file it appears' empty' when I had copied the lines. It would be great if there could be a protection of these files because redo all the work is too hard and too long! thank you in advance ps : version linda 2.5023

I'm new to using LINDA. Just registered FSUIPC. But after several hours, I cannot get LINDA to perform any of my key presses. In LINDA, under the appropriate joystick it says that the command is indicated. For example, I set up no smoking signs and seat belt signs and mapped them to my Saitek X52. I deleted these assignments in FSX. But when I press any of the buttons nothing happens. I haven't got a single button to work yet with LINDA. Anybody have any ideas?

Hi all, I have a query regarding LINDA assignments to the MCP Combo II - Boeing. Looking at the MCP part of LINDA, the top item of the middle column refers to a CRS knob. However this section is greyed out and there is no Course Knob on the unit itself. So, I am wondering where you enter the course/alignment of the destination airport? I apologise if this is a beginners type question but I am new to autopilots, ILS, navigation and MCP Combos, having preferred VFR seat of the pants virtual flying in small GA aircraft. Hello There ! .... I decided to go with Linda, you guys told me she is nice ....... lol I purchased the A2A Cessna 172, and since not all switches bottoms, knobs are functioning, or not functioning properly, and since FSUIPC doesn't really recognize A2A or confusing it with the stock C172, I thought Linda can help ....so I installed Lind or at list I tried. I launched the apps .... I see some of the devices but Lind tells me FSX/FSUIPC Config *FSUIPC Files not found ..... and that's it Nada for there ..... that is not nice at all :angry: So what do we do ??????? Cheers Yair

Greetings, I realize I am getting into uncharted waters (for me). I have just purchased the A2A Piper Cub. There is no module for the aircraft that I know of. I ran the log lvar script and was able to access a number of local variables for certain cockpit actions. I cannot, however, access the radio. As the Piper Cub has no electrical system, there is a portable radio which has to accessed through a keyboard combination. Changing the frequencies of the radio on the MCP has no effect on the aircraft portable; and changing the frequencies on the portable is not reflected in the MCP. Is there a way of dealing with this? Or should I just C'est la vie.

Hi guys, how are you doing, a couple of weeks ago i bought a touchscreen for my overheat panel in the simulator, and when i opened linda it poped out a window saying "invalid pointer operation" i have found that is not the screen that is causing the problem but is the touch part, any time that i disconect the usb cable that allows the screen to be touch from the computer linda works great (with the touchscreen working as a normal screen), but when i conect the touch portion linda stops working and give the invalid pointer operation every time i run the program. the screen is a viewsonic TD2420, it didnt came with any drivers to install, just plug and play.... so i ha…

Greetings, I have downloaded and am setting up the A2A C182. Thanks for the module. Something strange...The WX button on the EFIS cluster does not work in the C182. At first I thought it might be the MCP. But then I loaded up the A2A C172 and the button is functional. Can I get some troubleshooting tips, so that I can solve the issue? Greetings, I created a new module in LINDA for the Aircreations ultralight. I used the New button to open up the dialogue. I was able to create the new plane in LINDA. I then deleted the plane from linda/aircraft. I am guessing that's where I may have screwed up. Now I cannot create a module. Hello Experts, I was using for a ling time Linda 1.1 fullt statisfied and connected to 1 pokey 56 U card. On this Pokey 56 U card my throttle was connected and my switches and rotary switches ( up to 32 ). Today I connected a second pokey 56 U card to start with my overhead and after that all went wrong! Linda does not work anymore. Linda sees my Ace Yoke and my two pokeys but when I hit the switches linda does not see this happening? Normally every button switch is showing in Linda but now nothing works anymore. Also my Analoge axes ( for my throttle are not working anymore) . Hi everyone! Hope someone can find the solution to my problem. I have last version of FSUIPC, Linda 2.0.7. and VRinsight Boeing Combo II. Everything works fine except when I select the DME(on the ComboII) and want to change the course with the FREQ knob, then it enters in a continuous loop(001,002,003....), also happens when I press this knob(DME1,DME2,DME1...) and blocks the ComboII untill I reload lua engine. This problem happens only on the DME "mode", all the other "modes"(COM,NAV, ADF and Ttransponder) works fine. where can be the problem? I'm trying to set up LINDA but the program can't find FSUIPC. :( I believe I installed LINDA correctly by copying/pasting all the files and placing them in the FSX moduals folder, maybe thats the problem? It's the latest Linda and the latest FSUIPC installed. I know FSUIPC is working ok because SPAD uses it. I've tried searching for an answer but can't find anything. The pic below shows the problem. Hi Artem,I don't know what I have done, but now, whenever I start LINDA, I get a "Invalid pointer operation." message.If I click ok to that, I see the "Configuration and Checklist window" saying everything is ok.If I chose an aircraft in that, I get: "Access violation at address 05EB0E9 in module 'LINDA.exe'. Read of address 00000064"I have tried to restart my computer, that didn't help.I have tried to clean up my modules folder and reinstall linda 1.02, that didn't help.I have tried to use SerialFP2, that worked. I could use the Combo to control the default Cessna with it, Any suggestions?Helge

Hi all. I'm new to LINDA and have so far managed to program the default FSX assignments for my Saitek Yoke/Throttles and Switch Panel. I am however coming a little stuck when it comes to assigning profiles to other aircraft. I have loaded the PMDG 777-300 and have again set some assignments to it. How to i go about using those assignments on the 777-200 and 777-F or the 737 NGX? I dont nkow whether to use copy to or create new profile. Have looked and tried to make sense of the manuals available. Hoping for some help if possible, Cheers Pete
