I'm setting up LINDA for the Majestic Dash8, but every time I load up a lfight I keep getting a Range Check error. Anyone knows what's going on and how I could fix this?

FSX DELUX Win 7 64bit I have 3 BUX0836X cards that the computer recicnize and reads very well but nothing works at the simulator even with the difult cessna at LINDA's console I'm getting this message : [E] *** LUA error:....oft flight simulator x/modules/linda/ system/init.lua: 41 module 'linda/libs/._lib-fallback' not found' . any idea ?

This is my first time using LINDA and I'm trying to setup my VRInsight T&T panel for overhead functions from the Majestic Dash8 and I'm having some trouble getting the APU functions setup for the push/release toggle buttons on the left side of the T&T panel. -The APU Power button works fine, which is setup with APU PWR toggle in LINDA -The APU Start button is also working fine, which is setup with APU Start On in LINDA -Then the APU Generator button is setup with APU Gen toggle in LINDA and it works, as long as the APU Power is off, it nicely clicks in and out, but as soon as the Power button is on and I've started the APU and wait for the green light on th…

Greetings all, When it comes to programming, I'm probably the worst (aside from my 10 month old baby). I have a few Korry switches from Opencockpits, and am trying to get them to hook up with FSX. I can wire the switch parts just fine to my Leo Bodnar card, but not the LED parts. I also have a Pokeys56U that supports outputs just fine, but again with the programming. I'm at a loss. I need at least another 45 Korry switches for my cockpit, but if I can't get them to light up as in the real aircraft, it doesn't make sense. I'm building the Q400 cockpit after the Majestic Simulations Q400. As an example of a switch, there are 2 Intake Door Korry switches. When the battery …

Hi. I love Linda, however, I have discovered that .... When using the PMDG 737, if I undock my PFD or ND , Linda gives me a "range check error". Also the "FSX Sync" stops displaying the current aircraft (it defaults to -- Aircrafts -- ). Linda 2.6.3 P3D 2.5 Win7 x64 PMDG 737NGX While this isn't critical, I thought I would post my findings anyway, to help diagnose the general Range Error issue mentioned elsewhere. Also, Linda doesn't 'reset' when I unload P3D and reload P3D. I have to kill Linda and restart it. Is there a way to avoid this?

Hello everyone, I just got my self a shiny (well it more matte but anyway) new X55 and want to use LINDA to map controls to it. The only problem I have encountered so far is I can not make the lua file provided with the Aerosoft F-14X work. I have tried adding a function in fronts of the scripts within the file but it does not seem to work. Evidently I am better at making airplanes look pretty (or not depending on the weathering) than I am at scripting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks -Wingmate

I have the VRInsight MCPII Boeing and running with LINDA module that works for many aircraft. On the PMDG777 the MCP and COM panels work fine (all buttons and knobs do something when pushed / turned), however the EFIS panel does nothing. No mins, no baro , no range, no VOR1 or 2, etc. Nothing works on this part of the panel. config-mcp2.lua file is dated 11/15/2014 config-hid.lua file is dated 11/15/2014 Any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem ? thanks,

Okay, I did install fresh, surprisingly Linda doesn't recognize my devices by name any more Fuel selector DTA Rotary Encoder And some GoFlight panel I see them all on the configuration check list But not on the Joystick tabs Any idea ? Yair

Hi Guys, I have just discovered LINDA and must say I am very impressed....Makes life so much easier...Thank you to the developers.. Just a few of things... A2A Cessna 172...I just cannot get an assignment for the battery and alternator to work... Also the fuel cut off switch appears in my FSUIPC macro but when I try and assign it in LINDA it has disappeared from the list.. Can I assign a button to cyclic..ie...Move a switch on 1 step with each press..Typical example is the transponder switch. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you Dave

Background: Linda 2.5.5 Prepar3d v2.4 Module does not matter, intended to be used with Q400 Module 1.2 Mostly Saitek Pro Flight stuff, CH rudder pedals, W7 x64 Stuff tried: 1. Reinstalling FSUIPC 2. Restarting computer 3. Tried "standalone" 2.5.5 installation, not overwriting 2.5, the previous version. Problem: I get a dialog box that says "Range check error". Hi guys. I'm having a lot of fun with Linda (configuration heaven). Congratulations on a fantastic program. One quick newbie question if I may tho, I am wanting to utilize the radio panel dials for different functions (like panel light brightess) when in shifted mode. To allow this, in unshifted mode, I want to have Linda read the Saitek radio panel and drive the values directly in the sim, but on my system, the values update about 2 times a second as I rotate the dial. I simply assigned the xxx inc and dec attributes against the relevant "button" entries in Linda, and disabled the corresponding action in SPAD. Rotating the dial works, but only…

I try to use LINDA in FSX. I start the LINDA application and after that FSX. Then I load an aircraft which I have configured in LINDA. I see a window telling me that LINDA is ready. And sometimes things work as expected. The buttons I have configured works as they should. But many time LINDA isn't really active since no configured buttons work. This is often the case when I start FSX the first time. If I restart LINDA it seem to work but this is very awkward and I suspect should not be needed if LINDA works as it should.

Hey guys, I'm trying to switch over to FSX-SE and I'm running into problems. Namely... everything works except LINDA. I'm using FSUIPC 4.939n and the default FSX-SE SimConnect (10.0.62613.0). I have thus far been unable to get LINDA to recognize that FSX-SE is running... (cant sync up) FSX Sync button remains blue and every time I click it it changes the aircraft drop-down menu back to "-- Aircrafts --". I was able (on several previous installs) to get it to work by installing the XPACK version of SimConnect from the LegacyInterfaces sub-folder in the SDK folder. However if I do that I my Flight1 GTN's crash the simulator after informing me that the SimConnect ver…

Had Linda working perfectly and PC running at 4Ghz. Bumped it up to 4.2Ghz and now getting a message when starting P3D that Linda cannot open fsuipc4.ini because it is being used by another program. The run command for it is in the fsuipc4.ini. Anyone else come across this or a way to fix it. Currently I have disabled it and am starting it manually after P3D boots up.

Hey All, Has anyone an idea on how to use Linda to make it possible that when you switch between ALT/VS/IAS/... with the left knob on the Saitek Multi Panel, the adjustment wheel (left of the display) gets assigned the correct functions to increase/decrease the respectively ALT/VS/IAS/... on the Aerosoft Airbus panel? In FSX with LINDA 2.6.3 I choose module default FSX aircraft and I assign some buttons on my TM Warthog HOTAS controller. For example elevator trim up and down and battery and alternator switches and Save and exit LINDA. I start FSX with the default Cessna 172 and see window about LINDA being started. I then can see that nothing happens when pressing the buttons I have assigned. What am I missing ?

When I start FSX or FSX-SE I generally turn on the MCPII first and then start FSX which is setup to automatically launch LINDA. Now sometimes I forget to turn on the MCPII panel and if I then switch it on it will not work, even if I relaunch LINDA. Is this the way it normally works or is there something I can do to get it working in this situation.

Hello, I am building a 737NG home cockpit, very slowly and cheaply, and have almost finished the overhead. I selected Arduino MEGA interface cards to assign switches and knobs. works very well. Done using the FSIUPC mouse macro technique, then in the arduino, I give this switch a keyboard command so when I flick the switch, FSX thinks I hit the key assigned in FSUIPC and hey Presto... the switch moves in FSX. I hope that all makes sense?? The problem I think I may come across when I add the MIP and centre console, is I will most likely run out of keyboard strokes to cover all the switches etc...
