LINDA Support

I have the Saitek Multi Panel working with Linda 2.6.3 - almost! I am trying to get it work with a simple default aircraft (Baron) The rotaries work The pitch wheel works (a little too agressively) Flaps Full Up or Full down - can't get them to increment The AP buttons do not work ! They light up and flash when pressed - but do not make any changes in the simulator I am guessing something is overriding them but I cannot find what. I am using the Saitek drivers and the SaiPanels.exe If I disable SaiPanels.exe I lose the screen display. Should I be using the SPAD drivers ? Advice would be gratefully received as I now tearing my hair out.

Hallo Lida User, after i install FSUIPC 4.939m my VRinsight MCP Combo do not work with linda 2.6.3 The knobs are not working. (WIN 7 64, FSX) Version 4.939k and older Version are working with no Problems. Greatings from EDDM Frank

Hi there, after the new update 23 april Linda wont work anymore with my MCP 1. Before was working perfect Everything is OK in Linda config, no problems at all but when i move or press buttons it wont work, but if i do it on VC you can see in the MCP screen that communication is done from PC to MCP, i mean, if you move the HDG you can see the changes on the MCP display screen. Any idea? Im using 1.13 LINDA with MCP 1.

hi, after using fsuipc and spad to control my ifly i heard about linda so decided to try it so far so good .so i thought im flying the ifly of which i have to use the iflytofsuipc tool and AS airbus but when flying my switches on saitek multi panel stop working i have to every so often click on the reload lua engine for linda to recognize the switch move again very frustrating especially if your doing a flight on vatsim, are there any tips or fixes you can help me with this problem as i much prefer linda to programme my buttons and switches thanks yours mr gareth jukes

Hello. I have FSX and MCP combo Boeing. I have 7 joys of selling Chinese bazaars which dismounted and fabricated a device with many buttons that functions overhead. I have too 3 IOcards for many purposes. I have too two saitek pro flight joke, rudders and saitek swicht panel. Hello there, Im building a 737NG cockpit inside my room that based on Leo Bodnar's BU0836X cards (4 of them) that should connect to the sim via LINDA and FSUIPC. now, iv finished to build the overhead panel with all the wirring and everything is connected to where it should be, I have LINDA 2.6.3 and FSUIPC 4.939(paid) which are the latest versions ob both of the softwares. Hello, first of all I'd like to thank you for all your hard work, without LINDA a lot of people (including myself) wouldn't be able to fly using Saitek or VRI products. Said that, I'd like to report a weird behaviour with the mode selector of the RHINO X-55 which took me 2 hours to find a solution. So...here is what I found on LINDA version 2.6.3: After configuring the mode selector and trying it on FSX i noticed that mode 1 was always selected, only after restarting LINDA I could return to mode 0. Love the new LINDA.! How do I disable the default actions of the Saitek switch panel so I can fully customize it using LINDA? FWIW, I use an instrument panel as well.

My question is how to programm the rotary knobs with Keymapper to turn right it so that the turn left it works ok. When I trie to program using right click mouse doesn't recognize the pushing of the right click. Do you know how to do it? Regards.

To make LINDA work with the PMDG P-8A Poseidon, all you have to do is add a single line to one of the configuration files. To do this, navigate to C:\...\<your FSX folder>\Modules\linda\aircrafts\PMDG 737NGX and open ident.lua with notepad. Below the line already present, add simfolder="PMDG 737" and save. Now LINDA (and thus the MCP Combo, should you have one) works with the PMDG P-8A Poseidon.

Hi, i have linda software 2.6.3 and mcp2 combo boeing vrinsight And it well works with pmdg 737. But with the pmdg 747 and md11 models doesnt work. I have the moduls md11 and 747 but the dysplay and buttons doesnt work. Can you help me please. Many thanks

I'm just now converting over from FSX controls to FSUIPC exclusively, and LINDA looksl ike the next step, because I have several complex aircraft (PMDG 737 NGX, 777, MadDog, etc.) and want to use my new Saitek X-55 controllere to it's max potential. However, I am a bit concerned with hacking away at my FSUIPC4.ini and Standard.xml files. I know, I know, I've backed everything up, just in case. But why delete the wrong stuff and have to re-do this over and over? The manual says to "make sure you delete from FSUIPC4.ini all (emphasis mine) the current assignments for...your joystick/yoke." Am using FSX, MCP2, Linda 2.5.7 and A2A Cessna 172 module 1.0.2 Using the heading knob on the MCP2 causes the heading bug on the aircraft to jump about and the MCP reading for the heading does not sync with the aircraft heading. I have tried reassigning the heading knob values in Linda from the A2A library to the FSX control values - heading bug inc and dec. This gives a smooth operation of the heading bug butt he values still do not sync. Can anybody with the A2A 172 help please? Richard Halton

Hello, I have a Hagstrom KE-USB108 usb keyboard encoder and only the first HAT switch is usable. It allows a total of 4 and all of the hats/buttons show up in LINDA, but I can only use HAT 1. HAT's 2, 3 and 4 do not work. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi all, I just upgraded from 2.0 to 2.5.7 and trying to figure out the new (and very cool) un-shifted, shifted-1, and shifted-2 keys in Linda. These sound perfect for my Saitek yoke which has a three-position modal switch. I'm trying to make all the buttons on both the yoke and the Saitek throttle-quad to be three independent complete sets of buttons, depending on the position of the modal switch. But I can't figure-out the logic and placement of the 'shifted keys'. Hi, I've successfully mapped the EFIS WXR, ARPT, DATA etc. buttons on my home build EFIS for the PMDG NGX. They work but I have to be extremely careful how long I press a button. A millisecond too long and the function won't change,or maybe changes back again to it's original state as if the command keeps being send when I keep it pressed. Toggle switches work fine. Is it LINDA or maybe the cheapo interface card I'm using ? Martin

Hello everyone, I figured out how to use unojoy with Linda. I can use 2 or 3 way toggles or buttons. Question is can I use potantiometer? I couldnt find anything about it. If someone made it work , please let me know how. Thanks.

Hi All, I just got the VRInsight MCP II and it's going well with programming via LINDA. However I was wondering what you guys do to adjust the course for ILS/VOR etc? The NGX has a course control on it's MCP, but the VRInsight does not. What way do you guys do it? Thanks

Hi All I am setting up my saitek switch panel to work with pmdg´s 737ngx. I want a button to start the APU and so it automatically goes back to APU on, but there is only one button which is called APU start or showegt, And that doesn't work :( What do i do?

Hi Andrew, ALT+CRTL+SHIFT+F3 just saves the koordinates of unlocked wIndows like ALT+CRTL+SHIFT+F1. It should hide window titles of unlocked panels and other windows like ALT+CRTL+SHIFT+F2 does for the main window.

This may fall into the "Devices not compatible" category. But when I have my oculus rift plugged in, LINDA doesn't recognize any other devices. Is there a fix for this or do I just have to wait until the libraries are updated? Thank you!

hi there i have downloaded linda and installed it. i have assign some buttons for the feelthere airbus for the efis as i go to the efis control and want to use the buttons nothing happens on the efis. i use a bbi-32 button box as it work in fsuipc macro but want to use Linda now
