1. Using MCP2 User Mode 1 Radios Presetspress ADF button --changes between ADF1 and ADF2 in the window. There is only one set of numbers in the window,not both "Active" and "Stanby" numbers. Using ADF1, the dial changes the numbers in the MCP2 window and in theaircraft "Active" radio panel. The tracer mode makes it so much easier to find Lvars and controls specific to each A/C, loving the tail-like console log too...With the VRI MCP-Combo it's a no brainer, getting rid of the SerialFP2 is great. I don't use MCP COMBO, I use multiple keyboards and HIDMacros software. I have Saitek panels (radio, AP, switch) and two throttle quadrants. What will LINDA do for me? I would like to be able to map control of the addon plane switches to buttons.Thanks,

I bought the MCP Combo(1) round about one year ago and used only the SerialFP2 Software.Now i am very very happy to hear from Linda....sounds sooo cool for me because my iFly 737 for FSX wont work with the SerialFP2 software ( most of the EFIS knobs and so on )Ok, so i have downloaded the Linda version 1.10 and copied the files into the FSX Modules folder.FSUIPC 4.751a are installed, ComPort of MCP Combo is set and Linda says all is ok on the Summary Screen, also the Setup MCP Combo Screen says all is OK.Now in the FSX i have loaded the iFly aircraft and the Dispays of SPD, HDG and ALT are syncron in MCP Combo. I am finally making some progress setting my MCP Combo for RealAir Duke. However I have an error but do not know where to look. Here is the routine:The Wx button turns Both Fuel Valves On. The mouse is then used to start the starboard engine but engaging the starter turns the Starboard Valve Off. Same happens with the left engine. Its starter turns off the Left valve.If the MOUSE is used to reopen the valves, then the starter has no effect on them ....they stay open. But if I use the Wx button to open them again the cycle repeats.I am guessing that the ignition code is somehow in my script but do not know where to look ar what to look for.Help appreciated.This is a LOT ha…

OK- I'm asking for some help. First, my hat is off and my wallet is about to open (to donate) to LINDA Developers! GREAT program, far better than the drivel that Logitech provides ("T.A.R.G.E.T.") or FSUIPC alone. As a budding PMDG 737NGX pilot I have been steadily climbing the hardware acquisitions ladder. At present Linda is joyfully controlling my 737NGX via my Logitech HOTAS Warthog Throttle and Joystick Combo. As an aside, I would love to have LINDA be able to fully recognize and implement the quite inexpensive Logitech G13 Gamepad. The G13 has 22 G-buttons and 3 Shift modes, that means about 66 buttons in total, plus an LED READOUT! and a mini-joystick. Linda…

I feel certain that LINDA has become a very popular tool for FSX but the forum doesn't seem to show much interest. Very few posts receive replies and not many forum members offer their tips and suggestions. After using LINDA and trying to learn more about programming it I am convinced that crum and geunseli are a couple of geniuses. Unfortunately, I am not but am anxious to get more planes supported by it.This is one terrific program and all it needs is a bit more in the way of instructions so that people like me can develop profiles for themselves. GreetingsI am programming my controllers using LINDA. I noticed that a command which is present in FSUIPC is missing in LINDA. The command in question centers the ailerons. I checked for the name and number, but both were missing. I haven't come across any others yet, but I have barely scratched the surface. If there is a missing command, is it possible to add it to LINDA. If so, how do I go about doing this.Thanks

I load FSX, LINDA starts, default aircraft/airport load, then the RealAir Duke is loaded C&D. I get it ready to taxi, put on the brakes and then start the tracer.Almost 50% of the time everything works as it should, but otherwise the monitor goes black and the computer reboots. This is the only situation in which the PC restarts. Is it the tracer or some conflict between the tracer and the Duke B60? It usually occurs after getting to the stage of identifying the LVars code for a switch or button.I am determined to learn how to set up my MCP for the Duke but it is frustrating having to restart the project time after time.Any help appreciatedOOPS... The guide stops without telling me how to use the information found.I went throigh the process with the Duke B60, got the last stage with the "Cowl Flaps switch detected" and then the guide ends!How is the info used? Is there another guide that will help finish this step?Getting to this point in the process is easy and I would really like to continue and do a full profile for the Duke (and a few other planes that can be improved with LINDA).Thanks for any guidance ....Neal Howard

Hi guys,because of the Katana, I have started today with Linda... Hope everything works - I'm not used to do such things... And already now my first question: As it was written down, I deleted all the things in the standard.xml but I'm wondering about the TPM Panel. Its there 2x. The one is called: "Saitek Pro Flight TPM..." and the second just without "Saitek"... Together with "slew" I have 4 listings. I've just installed Linda V1.1 to set up my CH Yoke. The yoke is detected and I can program the push buttons. The POV hat only seems to record the neutral state of the hat and the "up hat" direction. The left, right, and down positions are not detected. Even if I assign a key command to the up position, it does not respond (whereas the buttons do). Any ideas what might be wrong?Thanks,Scott

Hi guys,I'm running FSX with SP2 on Vista with Linda v1.1 using the Vrinsight MCP 2.The main problem I've been having is with the display on LevelD 767. The autopilot displays are not in sync with the actual aircraft displays. It seems when I turn any of the knobs, the actual aircraft values turn twice as fast of a rate displayed on the MCP. Any ideas? The flight info values are correct tho, as are the default FSX aircraft.Using the VRIsim software, the autopilot values match the LCD in both the LevelD 767.Any ideas how to get the LevelD 767 autopilot values in sync on the LCD? I copied the Duke B60 Turbo LINDA profile for the Duke B60 piston. Unfortunately it doesn't work for most switches, Fuel Valves, etc.Will someone point me in the right direction for getting a profile for the Duke? I have both versions but much prefer the piston version (I know, I know, I'm crazy).I am rereading the manual now but am still not sure exactly how to go about creating a profile.Thanks for any helpNeal Howard
