Hello, I'm still testing my Saitek Yoke with LINDA assignments of the buttons. Autobrake decrease/increase were programmed for default FSX aircraft as displayed in the picture. It works with the default B747.As far as I understand, the manual says: it then should also work for add-on aircraft. It does not work with the PMDG737NGX however. What am I doing wrong??Any help is much appreciated. Regards, Henk Altena

Hi, I have recently started using LINDA and can I say what a great product this is. Makes assigning switches very simple and easy. I am a cockpit builder who enjoys a little programming no and again. For one of my programs which i use to switch on/off annuicators for my overhead panel, I write values to a range of offsets 66C0 - 66D0, which is marked for general use in the FSUIPC programmers guide. It looks like LINDA is also using this range off offsets as I was wondering if anyone has a list of the used offsets by LINDA so i can amend my program to not use these offsets. Simon

Hello, There were a couple of fast identical posts. Still need help on this.I'm unable to use assigned key commands in FSX.I added a couple of pictures, which shows what I mean (anyway, I hope so). LINDA-1.jpg: shows the COM port used for the MCP-Combo in SerialFP.LINDA-1A.jpg: shows the joystick assignments, I made for testing.LINDA-2.jpg: shows the initial settings when LINDA is executed.LINDA-3.jpg shows the LINDA screen, after having started FSX. As far as I know, I downloaded the latest version of FSUIPC, Can't find the 4.075 version.LINDA-4a.jpg and LINDA-4b.jpg are being displayed, after having closed FSX. What could be the reason, that I can't activate the par…

I loaded Linda and assigned some functions to my joy stick buttons and when I loaded FSX and the NGX I would get an immediate crash to desktop of FSX. The PMDG737 dll was at fault. If I remove Linda from Modules folder, it works perfect! What the heck did I do wrong? I have Linda 1.03 and PMDG NGX 1.1 installed. Thanks,Rob

What about to make an iPad app for LINDA?Something like a simple configurable interface for calling and executing all those Lua functions. Each aircraft could have it's own set of functions chosen to be displayed on iPad... May be some indications of the current systems state... and so on. iPad is a great device for that. Much better than Vrinsight MCP Combo...

I have followed the instructions for setting up Linda and have used it for limted periods of time before it simply stops working. It appears to stop when FSX loses focus e.g. when I accidentally enable EZDOK camera update - 2 on the NumPad. Very frustrating.

I am successfully using LINDA and my VRinsight MCP PRO to control the iFly 737NG and Level-D 767, so I'm pretty sure I have my setup configured correctly. However, I get no response to the MCP controls when I load the CaptainSim 757. When I switch to the 757, LINDA automatically detects it and loads it to be the current one, but none of the controls work. I tried duplicating the 757 files (as described in another thread) and linking them to the CS 767 to see if maybe it was only a problem with the 757, but the 767 doesn't work either.Does anyone have any further troubleshooting advice for me? I re-installed the CS 757 fresh from the original installer to make sure nothing …

I'm having some problems with Linda, trying to use it first time now with my MCP Combo and other hardware. But I'm getting 'Invalid pointer operation.' error after startup and Linda also doesn't show any joysticks listed, I can see the joysticks fine in windows control panel. In configuration checklist it shows 'Everything is ok!' on Joysticks, MCP Combo and FSUIPC sections. Just no joysticks listed anywhere. Any help will be appreciated, this looks easy way to configure the MCP Combo and joysticks I have, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Hi,This is not really a LINDA support question, but I hope I can use your expert knowledge about HID devices. I have borrowed an old cirrus yoke, and I can buy it if I want, but wanted to check it out first. I have some problems with some of the buttons:I wanted to use button 5 for trim down, and 4 for trim up, so I assigned Trim down to button 5 press and button 5 repeat. Likewise, I assigned trim up to button 4 press, and button 4 repeat. Button 4 works as expected, pushing and releasing it trims a little bit, holding it trims a lot.Button 5 however works only on the press, not on the repeat. The trim wheel kinda shakes when I just keep the button down, it does not rota…

Hello Artem & Günter,at first take my congrats for Linda which got my attention since it's first announcement. I fly both Boeing's 738, Ifly + PMDG, controlled with VRI-MCP-Combo and Saitek X52. OS = WIN7/64; Rig = i7/860 default clock; graphics = Nvidia 460 GTX set with inspector; Bojote-tweaks; all is running well! Controlling the Ifly 738 I use a keyboard.ini for SerialFPv.2 for MCP-Combo + Saitek profile created by it's own software.Controlling the PMDG 738 I use Linda (your PMDG 738-modul) + my own Saitek profile (to have all 3 Saitek modi available) Now the problem:My SerialFP-modul runs the Ifly very well with one exception:When during descent below FL 100, s…

i programmed the buttons in fsuipc via the buttons tab. to control PM (project magenta) MCP. This all works fine , only thing is, i need to press every button twice before it sends the command. really weird ... i know i could program the commands in Linda itself instead of in fsuipc,. but i don't know yet how to make the VRI MCP send certain offsets via Linda.I belief i need to create a fsuipc macro for it then. but i need to get into that. Don't know if that will take the double push problem away though... Somebody know a sollution to this ?? Greets

Hi all,For my sim i use glasscockpitsoftware. Now it was always a pain that i could not use the software to its full capabilities because the vri mcp combo i use could not talk with the pm mcp program. to be able to talk direct to fsuipc now helps alot but the main problem is still there. ... The display of the vri mcp does not match the display of the mcp software. Right now i just project the mcp in my screen the see the values but is there a sullution to make the vri mcp display the same values as the mcp software? i gues the vri should be told the offsets of the values or someting right?Hope with this brilliant software my problem finaly gets fixxed and the vri be wo…

I am thinking of replacing my X65F hotas with a yoke, but that means I will loose about a bazillion buttons and hat switches, so I need an alternative. Does anyone know if this VRInsight device is compatible with LINDA: http://www.simw.com/hardware/tact-toggle-switch-panel-tt-panel.html The description seems to indicate that it should be, but is it? Does anyone know of any alternative for getting more buttons? Helge
