LINDA Support

I have LINDA v1.3 and downloaded the 737NGX files v1.3 My VrInsight MCP Combo (type 1) is on COM3 and according to the log of LINDA, it did detect the MCP Combo. My (registered) FSUIPC is 7.742 and is also up-to-date. The config checklist of LINDA shows everything OK. LINDA's executable is v1.1b I selected the 737NGX in the LINDA menu The PMDG 737NGX is running HF4 I have EZDOK and TrackIR running. So...as far as I can tell I'm up-to-date with everyting. Still...no rotaries or anything move in the cockpit. 737NGX is powered via the APU, but even with engines running nothing happens. Choosing a default FSX plane gives the same result. At this point the MCP Combo is installed and fits perfectly just below the monitors, looks great too.Software installed correctly (no choice about SerialFP2, it had to be installed).LINDA installed correctly and all setup pages check OK with exactly the same entries as the LINDA Manual.I set it to auto detect, and Set LINDA to start with FSX.Started FSX, loaded the default flight, then switched to the PMDG JS41. Hello,i'm using Vrinsight MCP and VASFMC. The vasfmc.mcro is in the modules folder. When I want to set the macro, Linda says: Cannot open .......\Modules\VASFMC.MCRO.MCRO. How can I load the macro?Best regards, Thorsten

I apologize for posting this on LINDA Support but I dont know where else to ask (I have done google and yahoo searches). Does the panel work better if the 5v Universal power supply is used?If so, how can I use it in the USA? It may be a "universal" supply adapter but it certainly will not plug into outlets here. My MCP Combo arrived last evening and I am eager to get it set up and running with LINDA on my JS-41 and Embraer Regional jets.Thanks for helpNeal H.

First I must thank you guys for LINDA...don't have the MCP Combo but still am able to use it quite a bit with Saitek Yoke and Throttle Quadrant.My Questions:1. Is there any way to use keyboard entries with LINDA? I have 16-18 keys that are never needed and would like to put them to work. MY G-15 keyboard would easily program them.2. I usually fly Dukes (both version), PMDG JS-41, and other light twins (Carenado, MilVizFlt 1 Citation) and sometimes Embraer Regional jets. Would the MCP Combo be a good addition for those planes?3. Hi, I'm enjoy since I've dicovered LINDA.I use It with PMDG MD-11 and 747-400 with MCP VRInsight and Saitek Proflight device (Yoke, Rudder, and 2 Quadrands). So, I would like to know if it could be possible to make a profile for FSLabs ConcordeX.I believe to know that this aircraft doesn't use FSUIPC to communicate with FSX but not sure. I recently figured out how to use LINDA Tracer and I am absolutely delighted with what a useful tool it is ! Thanks to LINDA Tracer I have managed to identify which LVars are associated with the PMDG NGX CDU buttons. But that's where the problem started. To test, I programmed one of them (for the "A" key) as a FSUIPC macro to be operated with a toggle on my CH TQ just for now. In FSX when I press the CDU A button with the mouse, I can see on the LINDA tracer console that the LVar jumps to 100 then back to 0 and an A appears in the CDU scratchpad. When I operate the CH TQ toggle though, the LVar also jumps to 100 and back to 0 but no A appears in the CDU scratchpad. T…

Hello, I have just started to use LINDA for the A2A B-17 and I have the module for the aircraft. I think it is great. However, when configuring my buttons I miss some of the funtions that I would like to have. For example booster pumps and feathering buttons. Is there a way to add these to LINDA? Hello, After a couple of beginner problems, with which I was helped by the forum members, I can say now that I'm quite happy with this add-on!It's so flexible. Other than using the FSX control settings to set up my yokes, which the don't work with PMDG aircraft, with LINDA that's possible now.Thanks to the developers of this add-on. One question though: If I load a previous saved flight, then suddenly my old FSX control settings are back again, and the standard.XML file has changed back.Is there an easy way to prevent this, or must I save all those flights again?. I'm trying to get LINDA working with the GoFlight MCP-Pro but it isn't working. I have the latest version of FSUIPC installed, (registered), and have complied with, (well at least I think I have?), all the installation requirements. The LINDA console starts with FSX but it does appear to register an error stating "[E] *** LUA Error: ...es\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\NGX_AUTO.lua:1728: attempt to call field 'terminate' (a nil value)" I have the MCP-Pro and EFIS installed....... Any help would be appreciated.

Guys, I hope someone can help me with this one. What I would like to do, is read a value from FSX (PMDG NGX add-on), add an increment or decrement, and then write it back to FSX. Examples :- read the HDG value set in the MCP, add 10 to it or subtract 10 from it, write HDG value back to FSX.- read the ALT value set in the MCP, add 1000 to it or subtract 1000 from it, write ALT value back to FSX. This would allow me full use of the double-deck rotary switches on my "functional MCP". How would I do this in a Lua script ? Hi,is it difficult to update the NGX-Lua with the new variables so that we can read the MCP settings Alt, Speed, Hdg, Course etc in the Combo-Display?Until now I couldn't find out how to write a funktion that brings up this settings to the display.I see the function HDG_show or ALT_show in some Aircraft-MCP-Settings (like the fsx-default) but I didn't find this funktion in the lua-scripts.Any help is welcome :-)

I briefly read the installation manual and it goes through saying that one MUST delete ALL assignments from your FSX configuration because the LUA scripts replace them. OK, that may work fine with the sophisticated payware a/c but one doesn't fly exclusively payware. I also fly others like Aerosoft Twin Otter and many default a/c such as the (turbo) props. So, if by installing LINDA one must delete all assignments then one is no longer able to use default aircrafts because all assignments will be gone. Or am I missing something here? Or is there a way to select at runtime whether you want LINDA or not for the session?
