March 26, 201214 yr Hello dear "customers",I have here myself a problem with LINDA and want to ask you you if you see/confirm this too and maybe have a workaround. From time to time I start FSX (with LINDA autostarted) and start a flight, but LINDA is reacting very slow or not.I think I have fiddled out that this is the case when I haven't moved my both Saitek Throttle levers not completelly. If I open LINDA, I can see, that one Saitek throttle is permanently inputting into LINDA, meaning there's permanently a button press generated. What I do then is to move all levers complete all the way down and up (also into the button press position) and then it seems ok.However I have to restart LINDA completely again (end LINDA and start the LINDA.exe)Is there anyone out which can confirm this with Saitek throttles or maybe similar hardware or as similar issue?Maybe Artem is jumping in with an idea how to solve this (if possible - I do not think so?)?Btw: I really couldn't recommend this saitek throttle quadrants!!! :( Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March 26, 201214 yr Commercial Member Don't blame Saitek. When you program joystick axis to genereate a button press, there wil, be allways some lever position where this button press will be generated fast and constantly. This cause LINDA to overflow with commands. And yes, you have to restart Lua part of LINDA to clear it's buffer.Have the same issue with CH throttles.(note for future: check if it possible to reduce buffer length) Artem Crum, EASA PPL•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••LINDA → Lua Integrated Non-complex Device Assigning•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Jittering buttons is still a problem, but should not be so dramatic with this build. March 26, 201214 yr I can confirm that I don't have this issue even though I have 2 throttle quads from Saitek, it makes a refreshing change. :LMAO:I do have to turn off my touchscreen monitor before launching LINDA though otherwise I get an error "invalid pointer operation", once Linda is running I can turn the monitor back on and everything works fine. Cheers, Andy.
March 26, 201214 yr Author Thanks Artem, yes, I DO blame Saitek throttles.I have also two of them and both starts to have faulty potis resulting in jittering more and more.Precision is not a word I would say about these throttles - however I just use them for flaps, cowl flaps, mixture etc ... March 28, 201214 yr Günter,I have been looking to my config and i am surprised to see i havent assigned the throttle levers in Linda ... but direct in FSX.(The button of the yoke and the throttle are assigned with Linda). So obviously i have not your problem ... may be it can be a workarround. June 2, 201214 yr I believe I also have this issue. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/375507-linda-stops-working-after-a-while/
June 2, 201214 yr Author What FSUIPC version do you use? After I had "installed" 4.826, the issue was gone.
