  1. Standard is enough. none of the additional Asobo/Microsoft aircraft or sceneries are worth it. Better invest into proper addons then.
  2. I highly vote for that we get a flightsim wide binding agreement what "soon" should mean!!! Can't be that it stretches from a few days to a year, depending on the developer (I do not mean that serious!)
  3. Hmpf, they do not aim at international customers with that trailer it seems 😉 EDIT: I mean the second video on the SimMarket page which I accidently hit, it seems. This is from a polish beta tester. Looking forward to some english streams heopfully
  4. Now that Aerosoft released an update with an API could this considered? Maybe a little answer about this, please? AeroSoft does not even seem to know what a remote MCDU is 🙃
  5. Too bad this thread derailed. Hope every time to read sth new about the F4... Maybe you can rename this thread to what it is meanwhile, please?
  6. Indeed ... so, now we wait 4 weeks until the next BATC bashing thread starts, as usual
  7. Yes, that's the real world and your job as a pilot. Imagine you would be a real VFR pilot: no one would tell you anything, you are completely responsible for yourself. Not here. You should check your firewall etc and contact BATC support. That's absolutely not a common problem.
  8. two possibilities for you: fly forward! fly faster as the wind 😉
  9. Does it fit into this? https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/high-gpu-usage-at-night-with-apron-floodlights/753784?u=guenseli
  10. Hint: I had to restart the sim to get IRs and MCDUs working
  11. be patient. I'm currently there. When I'm ready, they let you in! EDIT: Server died. It's your turn!
  12. Depends. Can't judge before I won it 😉 I would say it's more on the higher side. Since release of MSFS we still accept rising prices step by step. Remember how lucks we where as many releases back then have been way cheaper then in FSX/P3D? Release infrastructure is part fo AeroSofts job ... what could get wrong? 😋
  13. If you enjoy different technology: Starship!
  14. I still don't get it ... All three ATC tools do the same: selling unfinished products and are in a work in progress state. Everyone has a different naming for it. But with BATC it is a bad thing? Ok .... You are not forced to! It is absolutely voluntarily. You can buy the product and use it, anything additional is pure fun for you. You are also not forced to make bug reports (what is normally mandatory if you are in a beta where you get the product in the end for your testing. If you do not participate in the beta and report bugs, you will normally be removed from the beta team). But you have for sure the freedom to call it still beta, despite the developers name it differently. And now back to to topic?
  15. It's about the different financing methods. These are the direct competitors, each having their own method. It's not whataboutism if you name sth and give examples how others do it. Whataboutism is, if you talk about something and then talk/ask about something complete different. Some use stock exchange, some even do whataboutism by naming things whataboutism. But we shouldn't derail it more, the whole thread is about the BATC Update and not its pricing model. Too bad that some moderators don't take care and even are part of this derailing.
  16. they nowhere say it's a beta test. "Show your support to the BeyondATC team and get an early taste of our features under active development!" they simply beg for money and you "get" a little something for it. If you jion this stage of development a little earlier or not, does not make a big difference. It's just supporting. You don't miss anything if you don't do it.
  17. oh, and to add: even companies as A2A had to choose the way of early access as seen with their latest AeroStar. However others, e.g. PMDG find other ways to fund their development, aka coffee
  18. FSHud named it Version 2 and sold it again (and another version to make it 2024 compatible). You even had no choice if paying or not. SayIntensions make an abo, also no other choice. I do not defend BATC it's just aother dev as all others and as you say, all of these ATC tools have their weaknesses. but to critisize just the BATC apporach while all others have also their "tricks" do get our money, is not fair. It's one apporach and no one is forced to use it! You even do not miss anything, you just have to wait and get then a more polished version.
  19. oh, so many things changed since. 🤣 No. As I said above, developing an ATC tool (better said a modern ATC tool, because I don't want to argue with you about Radar Contact and PF3) seems to be a very difficult task. Otherwise we would have seen one since a long time as it would be a money maker. And for such a long development you need money, and other developers which also need to be paid as you can't do it alone nowadays. Everyone is free to support companies he have faith in that they will bring a good program in the end. Or not. Of course, if you jump as early adopter onto every early access release, you will have bad experiences earlier or later. But normally, people wait for reviews, other opinions and take a certain amount of risc. And then, the developers have to deliver. Some do, some not. But even with ready built products you have a risc: remember the PRO ATX/X "scam" ... the developer made a good start, failed to deliver needed updated, ported it over and over without fixing but taking money for it and then vanished. And this was not earyl access!
  20. It is always astonishing as some people fail to read properly or otherwise try to intentional descredit a certain product. BATC is Early access!!! So, if you buy it, you buy to test it or, if you prefer other words: you buy it as it currently is! YOUR DECISION! if you want support development, you can pay something additional, for this you get even earlier access for certain features in development. Note that there are even more bugs then! YOUR DECISION! Obvisiously, developing an ATC addon seems to be a complicated, long lasting task where money is needed over the time. Say Intensions does it. FSHud does it. All take money for "unfinished" products. Even default ATC is unfindished and they have already taken money for it. But yes, P3D and PF3 are fully matured meanwhile, yes ....
  21. As from every other site in the www also. Flightsim.to is checking uploaded files of course. However, any check could be tricked if needed
  22. Not right now. Always found TFdi half baked in FSX /P3D times. And the MD-11 does not create the absolute hype to be a must have? I observe it, but next thing I look forward to, is Toliss A340. And holidays...
  23. There's even another cool trick: above the left shift key, there's one with an arrow down. Pressing that again to make sure caps lock is NOT enabled, let the community run cooler ... ENABLED <-- Not enabled <-- Which one seems more politely? Which one seems to be not shouting?
  24. AAO MobiFlight (because I have FCU and EFIS) Navigraph Maps Volanta BATC or FSHud Elgato StreamDeck Cabby These are the striclty flight related ones. But of course there are running others, like browser, mail etc
